Summary
A teenager, Tommy, 'accidentally' gets caught and shot by a villain. This causes quite a few heroes to take notice of the teen, some villains and vigilantes too.
But what if he had no reason to worry? Despite all the attention on him, he knew nothing would happen to him.
How does he know he's safe? What does he know?
--OR--
Tommy's just your average, everyday civilian who comes from a happy family, three dads, three brothers, and a sister! They all really care about each other, they'll do anything to protect their family. They'll also do anything they can to protect their community in the outer districts. So, they take notice when some heroes start showing their faces around the community.

"What does that mean for us?" Tim hisses over the beginnings of a dozen voices rising in chant.
"Nothing good." Jason states grimly, frantically racking his brain for any way out. Whatever entity is about to come out of this circle is going to be baring a fate worse than death.
Jason would know. He’s been dead.
…Actually speaking of being dead. Jason does know someone from the Ghost Zone with enough sheer audacity to help him fight what very well could be an actual demon.
With a mental ‘fuck it’, Jason begins to chant.
AKA: Jason and Danny became friends in the Ghost Zone. This is about to be everyone’s problem. Batman just wants to know who this illusive teenager is. Because he’s a meta. Obviously. Not for adoption reasons. No siree, not him.

Bruce feels the cold on his skin the moment he walks into the cavernous room. It settles over him like a fog, raises goosebumps under his suit. He sees Robin shiver slightly beside him, and then scowl at the display. Damian’s reactions usually bring a subtle smile to Bruce’s face, but this place seems to grab hold of any positive emotion and suck it out—or, at least, that’s what Bruce would say if he was being slightly less logical about it all. It’s not the place, it’s not even the obnoxious and persistent cold. It’s the small orb in the center of the room.
It seems the entire universe is reacting to this Orb and to the power it holds, including magic users and ghosts. And what's this about a missing Ghost King?
