Summary
“The bone-chilling gust of wind came through the broken window. Anakin stood speechless frozen in time, only able to watch the two men fight, fight to the death. He felt nauseous, knowing that the man he trusted with everything was the cause of the war, the shadow hiding in the corner, is the monster in stories told to younglings.
Anakin moved closer to the two men as palpatine lost his saber and slid in the ground. Windu held his saber inches away from the chancellor's throat.
The chancellor turned his head to Anakin's direction “Anakin, I told you it would come to this” Anakin glanced quickly at Windu “I was right! The Jedi are taking over.”
Mace then spoke “the oppression of the sith will never return, you have lost.”
Anakin didn’t know what to do. Truthfully he doesn’t know why he came here, yes he felt the force pull him to the room, but what was he supposed to do now?”
