Wylan had almost forgotten they were there. His other skin, his person, had grown around it and caused them to be small. Just a few inches, now, those stripes of purple. He didn't look at them often, and that was on purpose. He had no desire to. He tried his best to keep those memories away, but he was failing.
Jesper, his only help, was too far away to do anything.
