Is it worth it to help someone who clearly hates you? Probably not, but that’s the only thing Dazai knew how to show his care and fondness towards Chuuya, he doesn’t have the best role model, Mori is not a good figure at all.
And he may be a genius at everything, the prodigy that comes every once in a purple moon, but when it comes to emotions…
