Summary
Kurapika shifts until their bare feet hit the floor, the carpet sending staticky little bursts up their calves as they shuffle out of the bed and away from Leorio as the other hushes.
“Kurapika, wait—“
Kurapika swiftly dodges Leorio’s hand as it grabs for their arm. Kurapika is lithe and strong, but Leorio would be able to pull them back in within a second if he just managed to touch Kurapika and they don’t know how much of that is the other’s physical prowess.
“I shouldn’t have come here,” Kurapika mutters, eyeing their own appearance in Leorio’s ridiculously-sized wall mirror, seeing the unnatural softness to themselves in Leorio’s bunched-up YORK NEW UNIVERSITY sweatshirt and watching their own face color when they see the lack of pants.

He was crying.
Oh, of fucking course he was crying. His father was dead, all of a sudden, no warning, just gone, and Diluc didn’t know what to do.
Right; the phone.
DO NOT ANSWER: ...i assume u got rhe voicemaill too?
Diluc threw the phone again, and this time, with no couch to cushion it’s landing, there was a distinctive crack. Another thing to deal with in the morning.
or
Crepus dies, and Diluc and Kaeya, already on the worst of terms, are forced to share a car on the way to his funeral- five hours away.

Summary
“All of you are absolutely insane,” he mutters, taking a pause to kill a particularly frustrating enemy, “you’re reading into something that’s not there. Why does this always happen. Am I the next Dan and Phil?”
It did always happen. When he started to get big in streaming circles, a couple of his friends had even messaged him warnings about having Kuroo in any of his videos.
They had been right to warn him, because now Kuroo and Kenma had a tumblr tag. Kenma resolved to never look at it, lest he have heart palpitations and die on the spot.
—
Kenma has feelings for Kuroo. His followers are convinced Kuroo has feelings for him back.

Summary
“You don’t have some kind of camp?”
“Nope! Kageyama and I have been moving around for weeks, but we keep getting caught up,” the boy (still no name, Kenma, come on) supplied, “these things are relentless! That one could have taken me out if you hadn’t been here.”
“Who’s Kageyama?”
“Me.”
Kenma stiffened as a knife was pressed to his throat from behind, right where the voice came from.
-
The last thing Kenma wanted to be doing was play third fiddle to the two bumbling, over-curious survivors he had found himself hosting at his and Kuroo's compound. He had a hard enough time taking care of Kuroo already without playing babysitter. Now if only Kageyama would stop asking questions.

Summary
“Hey, Kageyama,” Nishinoya started, swallowing the last bit of his meat bun, “didn’t you go to the same middle school as Shiratorizawa’s setter? Oikawa, was it?”
His entire body tensed for a second. “Yeah.” He managed to get out. Everyone knew middle school was a sore subject for him, yet Nishinoya brought it up like it was the weather.
“So… what’s he like? I remember having to receive his serves in middle school, but that’s all I ever knew about him.”
Kageyama paused. “He’s an asshole,” he said shortly. “Iwaizumi was way nicer.”

Summary
Louis was not feeling especially charitable towards him at the moment, so as far as true love’s kiss went (a cliche, as if getting cursed wasn't bad enough), Lestat would be getting nowhere.
But it didn’t matter at all. Lestat was scared and miserable and he had a tail and he needed to see him.
Lestat gets on the bad side of a witch. Louis, against his better judgement, gets a cat.

Summary
“Oui,” Lestat declares. “Have you not heard of this human game, mon ami? It is actually quite delightful.”
There is it again — mon ami. Lestat has taken to throwing this endearment around like a grenade. It’s somehow more jarring than if he’d said mon cher again.
Back in each other's lives again, Louis and Lestat try to navigate who they are to each other.

Summary
Atsumu falls asleep after comforting a distraught Kiyoomi only to be told that he must make a choice: zap his twin out of existence or erase his high school sweetheart relationship with Kiyoomi. Unable to live a life without Osamu, Atsumu begrudgingly chooses to live a life where he and Kiyoomi never got together to begin with.
While he sees that Kiyoomi is fundamentally the same, Atsumu quickly learns that in his previous timeline, he’d gotten too comfortable in the length of their relationship. Right under his nose, Kiyoomi had been making small changes that Atsumu hadn’t paid attention to. Now he sees just how much he could have done differently.
As the pair grow closer, Kiyoomi gets ever so slightly more skittish. The sudden retraction makes Atsumu turn to Misery—the being that made him choose—this time full of rage and accusing them of ruining his life.
Only then does Atsumu learn the truth behind why he had to choose between the two most important people in his life. Fit with this new knowledge Atsumu has to reconcile his new reality with a past that doesn’t belong to this version of Osamu and Kiyoomi.
