Summary
It's a tradition to burn down a Woodland Mansion at every start of a season. Only this time it's not only inhabited by mindless mobs. There is actually an uncorrupted Player Allay there.
Scar and Cub don't really know how to feel about Grian when they help to rescue him. If they'd come just a few weeks later Grian would have become a Vex. And the reminder of what they lost confronts them with feelings they would have liked to forget.
Grian, on the other hand, really just wants to enjoy his newfound freedom and do what Allays are supposed to do - gathering things and causing mischief. Which is hard to do when you’ve been dropped into a foreign world and have no clue where your former crew has ended up. Not to mention the two very intriguing Vex, who give off very mixed signals. Not that Grian is any better at communication.

Summary
He knew that there was a before. He also knew that there was a now, in this place. But anything in-between was missing, a memory just out of place; a string that, no matter how you try, you just can't seem to grasp.
Not that it stopped him from fumbling for it every chance that he got. He needed to know how he got here. He needed to know how to leave.
Out in the woods, in the dark, alone, was not a situation that anybody wanted to be in. Except maybe campers. But Elliot wasn't a camper. He had no supplies, no knowledge, and it wasn't as if this place made any sense anyway. If it did, it would have made leaving that much easier.
Or; while the Spectre's Elliot plays the games, the real Elliot finds himself elsewhere. The killers' lobby isn't a fun place to be. (Until it is.)

Summary
Rodger had been alone for too long, as the numbers of living Toons dwindled, Rodger worked harder and harder to find the cure. He is going to bring them all back and help them return to normal. It’s going to be difficult but every good Detective and Scientist makes sure to write down their studies. He knows he can do this.

No toon wanted to bring back Gardenview’s old bully but with their options dwindling they decided Shrimpo would be a simple fix and that it would be best to just get it out of the way sooner rather than later. What they don’t expect is that Shrimpo’s capabilities to speak have withered away from him. With shaky hands and no way to communicate, how they’ve wanted to treat him all along is revealed.

Summary
Shrimpo is a spiteful, hateful Toon. That’ll never change, and the others have (mostly) accepted that.
Shrimpo knows that he’s different in some way. Not that it matters, since he’s better than anyone else. He’s stronger than any other Toon (so he says), faster (absolutely not true) and smarter (incredibly debatable).
Sure, he may not know everything, but it doesn’t matter. He doesn’t need to when he’s so clearly better!
(The word count is a little misleading. The majority of it comes from the archived old version. I might eventually split them into different works someday, when the rewrite is further written)
