Summary
Sam’s an early riser, has been since he was a kid, and usually, he never minded; it gave him a head start on the day, making him feel more productive. But as he lays in bed, watching the soft, golden rays of morning sunlight start peaking through the blinds at half past seven on a Saturday, he wishes he wasn’t. After a week of finals, he was tired and wanted nothing more than to catch up on a few hours of sleep. He should’ve known his luck.
He lets out a sigh, turns so his back is to the window, and buries himself in the head of hair that’s beside him. If he can’t sleep, he, at least, wants to be surrounded by the better version of the sun.
