Go, Helaena, go! Become the queen you should be! I cannot wait to see how this keeps playing out. Her empathy and kindness will be the source of her strength,I can see her becoming the true protector of the realm. Larys still gives me the creeps and I'm afraid the queen's feet are endangered. I would LOVE to see aemond jealous btw haha. Maybe he'll become the protector of the queen's twinkle toes.
I hope jahaera finds some friends among the mentioned children, I can see her being just as isolated mentally as her mom with the changing maids and the loss of her brother. -

To get it back, Shinsou must enter the Emperor's palace as a lowly maid and sneak, scheme and seduce her way into finding it and escaping the Forbidden City without being caught. 27’s throat tightens, as if any words he could have thought to say are trapped there. If it weren’t for Memory’s nails digging into his wrist, he would probably have stood there all night, trying to understand what they wanted him to do.
Use his quirk on a child. A tiny, frightened child.
He kneels down, trying to get her to look him in the eye, to make some kind of connection. Anything to try and make her answer. “D-do you want to go away? Do you want to go somewhere safe?”
Her eyes open, slowly, and the sobbing slows enough that she isn’t shaking with it quite as much. Her hands are lowering from her mouth.
“Uh-huh.”
Her voice, so small and hoarse, is all he needs. He feels the quirk trap around her mind, and her eyes fade from red to white, hands dropping slack by her side.

This work is based off of The Last Resort, written by coldandhotsoba. In this AU, after Shinsou Hitoshi is sold to The Miasma, The Miasma sells him to Overhaul to fill the role of "The Mediator" for Eri. Even after the raid on the 8 Precepts, the wards are haunted by their pasts, but the ghosts in Shinsou's mind are anything but dead.
