“Help.” His voice sounds so small, almost as small as he feels. Shoto’s heart rate is blaring within his chest, pounding so hard he swears his phone can pick it up.
A hitched breath. “What?” He can register the heavy concern in Vox’s voice even through the crackling of the phone.
Shoto’s words come out in a strangled whimper. “Help me. Please.”
