Chapter Text

An endless void of white…

That’s all Izuku could ever see except for the tall table in front of him with a bowl of unknown food.

It was strange yet, it looked too familiar like he has seen that bowl from before.

But then again, he was hungry and in his mind, he was curious, wondering what was inside it.

He approached the table, his feet doesn’t make a sound at every step like the world was devoid of sound. Then he stopped. There was something that was tugging his wrist and when he looked at it, it looked like something like an IV attached to him. Just like when he was little.

His legs unconsciously went back and hold the metal stand. Strangely it felt warm and comforting for some odd reason. Maybe it was because it was the only thing that helped him survived over a year that it was comforting? He will never know.

He dragged the metal stand with him with little to no resistance towards the table. When he arrived in front of it, it wasn’t that tall as he thought. He then looked at the chair, his free hand touched the wooden chair edges, it looked comfortable with a small pillow under it, the edges are smooth almost like tempting him to sit on it, and so he did. It was comfortable to say the least. He looked over the bowl and saw the mystery food inside. It was Katsudon. His favorite.

It’s been so long that he tasted one of those. The last time he remembered eating one was when he was back home. Kurogiri-san would cook him Katsudon every breakfast, he was a good cook in Izuku’s opinion, and he loves his cooking a lot.

The food in front of him was warm. Freshly cooked. He could even faintly smell how delicious it is. His mouth watered, his stomach growling at him but he just couldn’t bring himself to eat.

“Having troubles there Izuchan?”

That voice…

He hadn’t heard that voice for years. “T-Tomu-nii?” he whispered. Though his voice was small not like what he sounded. He looked up to see Tomu-nii’s figure in front of him on the other side of the table. He wasn’t there before. He was staring at him with his bored red eyes. His childish frown decorated his face. Izuku knows that look and that was a look when he is upset and also disappointed.

“Was it the smell?” Tomu-nii asked, scratching his neck. “Don’t you like it? Kurogiri said that it was your favorite” he approached Izuku to the side and hold his arm, his grip was cold and tight. He could feel his fingers dig in to his flesh.

“T-Tomu-nii, it hurts… s-stop! Let go, p-please”

“You haven’t eaten for weeks, Izuchan. It worries me, sensei worries too” he ignored Izuku’s plead. His face morphed to a smile that stretches as humanly as possible over his ears and Izuku started to panic, this wasn’t his big brother, this must be a dream, yes that might be it, why can’t he wake up! “Oh, I know!” Tomu-nii imposter exclaimed. His ruby eyes glared at his emerald ones looking at him like he had the best idea. He let go of his arm and pulled the bowl in front of him to his hand. The Katsudon was long gone and was replaced by the red texture and liquid blood. He could see fingers, eyes, and hairs inside the bowl, floating aimlessly. “I will help you eat” the imposter said with a smile.

Izuku was terrified, shivering with fear. “No!” he shouted. He tried to stand but the chair that he was sitting morphed into a chair that has hands all over it. It was holding his head, wrist, arm, and his legs. Every time he struggles, the hands on the chair tighten even further, digging to his flesh and crushing his bones.

Tomura took one eye on the bowl. “It’s delicious, Izuchan” he said with a glee. He grinned and proceeded to put his free hand on his nose and pinched it.

Izuku was morbid and realized what the imposter was trying to do. He was trying to force him to open his mouth since he couldn’t breathe through his nose. He had no choice but to breathe through the mouth.

He tried to close it. Tried to hold in his breath. “Izuchan~ I know you can’t hold your breath forever~” the imposter giggled.

Izuku looked at him with fear, his heart was beating too fast, and this wasn’t helping him because he was starting to hyperventilate. The eye on his hand was staring back at him. Blue eyes… just like All Might has…

He was holding his breath for so long and he can’t hold it much longer. He needs to breathe. He opened his mouth to gulp in the precious air and the imposter quickly shoved the eye inside his mouth.

Izuku’s eyes widen. He wanted to spit it out but his mouth was covered by the imposter’s hand, not letting go of him anytime sooner.

Fat tears were rolling of his face. Why can’t he wake up? Someone please wake him up. Wake him up on this nightmare.

“Very good, Izuchan. Now you have to chew it thoroughly now~”

Izuku didn’t chew but he swallowed the eyeball whole, he could hear Tomura’s chuckling and laughter.

“See, it wasn’t that bad, was it, Izuchan?”

-

He woke up in cold sweat and throw up immediately. He doesn’t care if he would ruin his jacket, he’ll have to clean it later. He just wanted to get it out of his system. He puked out nothing but bile or maybe some of his stomach acid in there. He just doesn’t care. He wants to get the eye out.

That nightmare was too real to be not true.

“Big brother!”

He snapped out of his thoughts and heard Eri’s cries. She was sobbing and was clinging to a white blanket like it was her lifeline. She must have woken her up and must have frightened her.

He heaved. He was now awake. In the real world…

Seeing Eri was a relief but then he looked at what she was holding.

‘Wait… a white blanket’ he thought.

He looked around, observing his surroundings. He was somewhere foreign, this wasn’t the room they were.

He was in a white room. It smelled too clean and it doesn’t smell like the salt water air. Maybe in a clinic? How did he end up here? More importantly who brought him here?

“It seems that you’re awake there, sonny” it was an old woman’s voice and when he looked at her. She looked somewhat familiar then it snapped to him.

“Y-you’re Recovery Girl!” he shouted. He has seen her on some of the hero interviews on the television before. She was shorter in personal he took note.

She nodded in confirmation and gave him a warm smile. “How are you feeling? You seemed to have an upset stomach there, I have a medicine here that will help you”

Izuku looked at the ruined white blanket and rolled it off. “I’m sorry about the… blanket… I could clean it off… I don’t have any money to pay you…” he trailed off.

“It’s fine, dear” she came closer. “What’s more important is your health and you’re okay” she pointed at the blanket. “You can roll it to the side dear, I’ll let someone pick it up and give you a new one”

Izuku fidget his hands. “I-I’m really sorry…”

The hero sighed and shook her head but in a more motherly way. If they continued on, Izuku will apologize even more. So she just dropped the subject.

-

The hero told him that he was in an infirmary of a school named U.A. It was one of the top schools in the country that teaches the future pro heroes. She also told him what time it was and it was the evening around evening or so. Then she explained the reason why he was here and it was because he has a terrible fever. Someone brought him here to recover.

She offered him water to drink and to wash the sourness of his mouth. She also gave him some gummy bears to chew. It was delicious.

Eri told him that it was ‘Lion man’ that brought him here. Apparently he entered the abandoned building and come across him and Eri.

He doesn’t know why and what was his purpose there and that was alarming for him at first but then he realized that he was in a Hero school of all places. They couldn’t just get in if the heroes can’t trust him. He must be important or has a connection to the heroes.

She even told him stories of Zawa-san, Uncle Zashi and Aunt Muri. They are nice and gave her food and also new comfy clothes. She also told him of ‘Bun Bun man’ to Izuku’s knowledge, that’s what All Might plushie’s nickname, was here and gave her a lift. She felt so tall like she could touch the sky.

Izuku smiled. Could it be that All Might was here as well?

That answered his question when All Might himself opened the doors of the clinic and on his hands were fresh clothes that seem too small for him.

“It’s nice to see you again, young man” his voice booming. “I hope that you are doing well!”

“Y-yes, sir! I’m d-doing well, thank you for helping me yesterday”

“Please call me All Might” All Might chuckled. “And like I said yesterday, I’m glad to be able to help” he then put the clothes on the side of the bed. “By the way, I didn’t get your name, young man”

“Ah” Izuku mumbled.

“It’s Izuku… Midoriya Izuku”

Notes:

Will be on break next week, Might as well do some art while I rest. I hope you like the story so far!

Also a quick note. I really love like a part on a show named Hanibal? Like it's super good. I've got a lot of inspiration from there. Especially this nightmare part. there's this part in the show where he implanted a severed in the stomach from his target? Like the target is like half conscious and man I really love that moment of shock XD

I also like listen to some crime documentaries. They are really good to listen by.
