Chapter 1: The Beginning
Chapter Text
He has been on the run for a very long time.
From the Villains.
From his own father.
-
Years ago, he was held inside the confines of their home, isolated from the outside world.
His father was overprotective of him. He cares a lot. He doesn’t want anything bad happened to him.
Izuku was his only son, his only blood relative left.
Izuku understood why.
His father has told him the many dangers outside their home. How scary monsters like villains and heroes could hurt him if he was not careful. At first, Izuku didn’t understand why. Heroes were supposed to help those who cannot protect themselves, right? Protect and save people from evil villains, right? That was what he know from what he read from the countless of stories and old comics that his father gave him. Heroes were supposed to save, to help.
He remembered his father chuckled at him to that thought.
He remembered his father telling him that that his concept of a hero was the ‘ideal’ hero. What a hero should be, but in reality, not all heroes are like that. There were also monsters. Evil people that would use their power to harm the innocent, to take away their lives if they didn’t get what they want.
Fame. Money. Power. Influence.
At a very young age, his father told him that humans can be evil as well as to be good. There were people out there that will use their power for evil or good deeds. Use it to hurt or help.
His father told him stories. Bad stories…
He told him a story of a man who hurt his father. How he got the scar on his face and how he couldn’t see anymore. He told him a story about his uncle, his father’s little brother, how he was so dear to him but sadly he has passed away because of people who used their quirks for evil. He told him that other heroes almost killed him because of his business.
Little Izuku knows and he understood.
He promised that once he got a quirk, he will use it to help and to save. He will be an ideal hero!
His father had other plans on him though. Either he got his quirk or not. He told him that he doesn’t want him to be a hero; rather, he wanted him to be the one who will manage one of his businesses.
He would tell how his father that he wants to be a hero and also help manage his business but he just kept it to himself…
He doesn’t want him to be upset… He knows that he was just trying to protect him.
His father loves him and he loves him back.
Though because of the isolation that he was in, it doesn’t help how lonely he was. Even if his father gave him all of his favorite toys, even gave him lots of sweets he could eat, or all the story books he could read; there is something in him that wants to interact. To play, to talk with other kids that was on his age. He wanted to go to school and play in a playground.
He was homeschooled, Kurogiri-san was a great teacher and he was fun to talk with especially if it was about quirks, though it wasn’t enough for his loneliness to be satisfied.
He couldn’t bother his father or talked about it. He knows that he is a busy man. He wasn’t always there to even tuck him to sleep but he knows that he was doing his best. He could hear faint whispers of his father on his sleep from time to time, wishing him a good night and sweet dreams.
He always yearns attention or to play or to talk. His stuffed toys and the only All Might plush he sometimes talk to had been enough to satisfy his loneliness. He always looked at the window outside. How children played on the side of the streets, some eating ice cream and cloud like things that he forgot what it is called. Deep inside, he was a little bit jealous at them. He couldn’t go out and play with other children of his age. He could just look at the window and just watch as people passed by.
Kurogiri-san sometimes checked up on him and gave him the most delicious hot coco every day. He makes the most delicious pancakes too and ice cream.
When Tomu-nii joined in the family. He was really quiet and really reserve at first, but as he observed, he gets mad easily that there was one incident that he destroyed almost all of his things in his bedroom except the All Might plush that he saved from the rampage.
He calmed him down when he asked him what was wrong and talked to him. Tomu-nii was angry yet Izuku knows deep inside that he was lonely just like him. He cried that day.
But because of this, his father has been training Tomu-nii to avoid incidents like this ever happen again. Izuku noticed how distant he was now. He always sees Tomu-nii besides Kurogiri-san and not even going closer to him until he gets his quirk controlled.
Tomu-nii was older than him in a few years. He’s like his big brother, even though they weren’t related by blood it doesn’t mean that he couldn’t be his big brother, right? He even calls him big brother or Tomu-nii all the time. His big brother cares sometimes, he let him borrow his phone to play his mobile games but that’s about it, he just wished that he could stay longer to talk to him but he was always busy with father’s training.
Izuku understood.
If Tomu-nii could control his quirk, it means they could play! He just needs time and patience.
At the age of five, Izuku found out what his quirk was.
It was really accidental. Tomu-nii got hurt from his training and little Izuku wanted to help. He read in one of the stories that a kiss will remove the pain away and so he did it. A kiss on his big brother’s wound. A smudge of blood on his lips and accidentally licked it. The next thing he knew, the chair that he was holding decayed.
His father heard of the news and was happy that he got his quirk. It was just like his too but his was a little different.
For all Izuku knew, his father’s quirk is to take and give quirks to other people.
The doctor that was always with his father told them that his quirk could copy the DNA structure of the quirk and make it as his own. Which means that he could copy a quirk permanently if he would ingest one of their DNA, such as blood or hair.
Little Izuku was a little grossed out of the idea of drinking blood or eating hair but it is still a cool quirk, unpleasant but still cool.
Izuku was happy that he got his quirk! Maybe he could train with Tomu-nii with his father! He thought excitedly.
But no, he was still too young, his father told him, which made Izuku upset and disappointed.
Over the time, for some odd reason, he was gaining more quirks. Fire breathing, Levitation, super jump, self-healing, and a lot of strength augmentations to name a few. He doesn’t know how and he doesn’t know why at first. The doctor said that he could gain a quirk if he drinks blood but for all he knows, the only blood that he tasted was from Tomu-nii.
Maybe he just gained quirks overtime? Another aspect on his quirk? That was what he thought at first.
When Izuku was seven, he saw something that changed his world for the worst and changed his view on his father and Tomu-nii.
It was so late in the evening and Izuku was thirsty. He was suppose to call Kurogiri-san but he is probably sleeping at this hour and he doesn’t want to disturb him. So he went out to grab a glass of water of his own and all of the sudden he heard a muffled scream below their basement and it was the most terrifying scream that he could ever heard that his mind couldn’t comprehend.
He went down the basement quietly, peeking at the little opening space of the door. His eyes widen to see a person being chained in a chair; his mouth was gagged by clothing. Tomu-nii was on his side and his hand was gripping at the man’s leg, slowly but surely used his quirk to decay the man’s flesh, earning another scream but this time it was even louder.
His father was there, he was smiling and smirking. His smirk wasn’t like any other. It was evil. Like what he saw from the old comics. It was like looking at a different person.
This wasn’t his father. The father that he looked up, giving him warm hugs and tell stories…
Izuku was shocked, and trembling from fear and he felt cold, colder than ice.
On his father’s hand was a vial of fresh blood, probably from the person that was chained on the chair.
He couldn’t hear what they were saying, he felt like his world muted.
What was he going to do with that vial? Why was a person here? What was going on? That was running in his mind a million times. Yet, he knows where this was going and he doesn’t want to accept it.
Then he saw and heard it…
Kurogiri was there and took the vial and his father asked what he was going to cook for Izuku for tomorrow.
Then it hit him. Kurogiri was the one who cook his food… seeing the fresh blood… seeing that person who was screaming in pain, in torture…
He wanted to scream…
He needed to get away.
He stepped back, and quietly goes upstairs to his room, locked his door and immediately hid under his blanket wanting everything to just disappear.
Thinking that it was just a bad dream.
But no, he was awake and he saw all of it. His father was bad. They were evil, bad people hurt other people right? In Izuku’s mind, that was the only thing that runs to his head.
His dad was a villain.
Those were the memories he wanted to forget.
-
It was a cold morning for Izuku. He opened his eyes and sees the sun slowly rising.
The park was empty but look’s so peaceful, the cold air was comforting a little bit.
He yawned and scratched his hair, what he could give for a shower right now. It’s been so long that he even took a long bath.
His stomach grumbling and demanded for food. He took a deep sigh and looked at the small bundle just next to him. Eri was sleeping peacefully on his side and clinging to a big stuffed green rabbit.
He smiled and pats her head gently, trying not to wake her up.
To Izuku’s dismay, he was hungry, he bets that Eri is hungry too but he couldn’t move or that would wake Eri up and she was sleeping so peacefully. His stomach grumbles even more.
Either he would resist his hunger a little longer and find food or wake Eri up from her peaceful sleep. Both are hard to decide.

Chapter Text
There were walking down the busy streets of the city. Izuku was carrying a drowsy Eri on his back. Their head covered by the hood of their worn-out jackets and their face covered in a face mask.
“Izukun, I’m hungry” she whispered and mumbled to him.
He turned his head a little bit to face her. “Don’t worry Eri-chan, we’ll find something to eat” He then looked around and saw a nearby convenient store.
Maybe they could buy something to eat there. Cup instant noodles maybe? He then took out his worn out wallet to see that there was enough money for them to spend it on. There was enough for them to last for a few more weeks. He sighed in relief. As long as they don’t buy too expensive things, they could manage a little more.
They went inside the store and look for the food isle and they found it immediately. The store wasn’t that too big at least, he thought. He carefully dropped Eri down so she could stretch her sleepy legs. He then pulled down his face mask and smiled to her “Don’t go too far, Eri-chan” he said and pat her head. “Just stay close to me and if you get lost; you can call for me, okay?” earning a small nod of confirmation from her and she walked by the food isle and skimmed through all the food.
Izuku smiled and stood up. Looking for a small basket and for the affordable instant ramen noodles area.
After a few minutes when Izuku was finished putting in the groceries on the small basket, with a few water bottles and with a lot of variety of instant noodles. He looked for Eri, only to see her staring at a small oven like container. When he come in close, he noticed that she was staring what was inside the containing and she was looking at the delicious donuts that was in there.
He looked at her with sad eyes. With little money he was left with; he could afford a box of donut but that would cut their budget to a half. He looked at the grocery on his hand then back to Eri.
Maybe he could at least give her something tasty…
The noodles are dull and doesn’t taste that good when you eat it too much right? But it was the only food they could afford for now…
The sparkle on her eyes plus their hunger makes it hard to decide.
Maybe just this one time?
Money will come by eventually, he thought optimistically. He should find work as soon as possible. So that they won’t end up starving then maybe find a cheap apartment to call home for them both.
He decided then… Her happiness is important to and wants to give her that.
“Eri-chan” She looked at him a little surprise at first. He knelled down so that he could get to her eye level. “Do you want that?” he asked.
Eri nodded a little, her eyes a little sad. Maybe she was thinking that they couldn’t afford the sweet delicious treat in front of her but he gave her a reassured smile. “I’ll get you that later okay?” her eyes beamed and surprised.
“Really Izukun?” she said with a strain of doubt and yet a little hopefulness in her tone.
He nodded again, reassuring her. “Yeah, I’ll drop some things first” she nodded and gave him a hug.
“Thank you big brother”
His heart warmed a bit and hugged her back. Eri is a sweetheart. He wished that she will never change.
His mind drifted…
It’s been six years that he was on the run and Eri was with him for a few months already. Izuku hoped that they already lost track of them. Hopefully.
He was fourteen now and Eri… in his estimation is around three or four years old…
Time really does pass by so quickly if you don’t really watch or wait for it.
He went back to the entire instant ramen noodles isle and put the other cups back. He then saw a man that needed help to get something on the top shelf. Izuku wanted to help to help him so he got closed and used one of his quirks ‘Levitation’ and grab the instant ramen and gave it to the man, who was a little bit surprised and startled at first then calm down a little bit.
“Thank you young man” he told Izuku with a smile.
“It’s no problem sir”
He thanked Izuku again and waved him a good bye
For some odd reason, he felt like he have seen this man before but he knew that he haven’t seen him personally, maybe a hero perhaps. He looked again, giving a quick glance at the man who was on his back facing the cashier. He doesn’t really remember a hero that is dangerously too thin…
“Izukun! Look, look!” Eri called to him and pointed at a pack of candy.
When he looked at it, it was an All Might theme candies.
“He looks like the one you have!” she said happily.
He chuckled and patted her in the head. “You’re right! You have a good eye there!” she smiled at him.
What Eri was talking about was an old plush toy of All Might that he carries in his backpack; it was back from his childhood. It was a nice pillow to hold too and it helps him sleep at night when he was so young. He used it from time to time if he had trouble sleeping or having a terrible nightmare… He just feels secure with it.
-
In the age of eight, he ran away from home.
He escaped his father and it wasn’t easy.
He was a smart boy. He took months of planning before he made his escape. Everything was well planned. He looked for possible exits, checking every floor and take note of those that was a little bit noise and those wasn’t making any noise, he read a lot of books such as first aid and camping and survival. He prepared and hidden a bag full of his things so his dad wouldn’t notice it. He will sell them once he got out so that he could get some money out of it. He doesn’t want to steal from his dad or Kurogiri, they would know that something was up if there was missing cash. He even timed in their schedule, to when they work to when they were out and to their sleeping schedule.
The day that he discovered the horrible truth; of his dad hurting people, the blood he took from them and mix it to his food. He has lost his appetite to eat. Kurogiri’s food looked so good and tasty but the only thing that plays into his mind were the muffled screams of the man that was held captive in their basement that day.
He was growing so thin and sickly overtime that his father would even put him on an IV just to get some nutrients in him.
Every night he heard from his sleep soft whispers of his father.
‘Please get well… please don’t end up just like you brother… what have he done wrong for his son to deserve the same sickness as his brother’
His father loves him so much. He cares for him. He knows that his father don’t want to lose him too… as much as it hurts him so much once he leave.
Day by day, his mind drifts to his father then to his escape plans…
On that day, when his father was out of work with Tomu-nii with him and Kurogiri was asleep, when he got enough energy. He executed the plan. He was quiet like a mouse and sneaky, careful not to wake Kurogiri up.
When he got out of the door, closed it gently behind him, then he was out.
Kurogiri didn’t even know that Izuku left his room.
He never looked back at that day…
Though he cried in weeks. Worried and sad.
Years he roamed. Seeing his missing poster plastered everywhere and growing old in time. He hide as he could, he blend in the crowd easily.
He almost even ran to some police officers and villains that wanted to take him in, fearing that his father has also a connection to them… but he escaped them regardless.
But as bad as it is for him, there’s also the good part. There are also good people that are willing to help him. Never questioning him where he came from and gave him clothing and also food to spare.
In the age of thirteen, he met Eri who also was a runaway.
She was maybe around the age of three, he wasn’t so sure at that time and she happened to bump unto him. Clinging to him with her dear life. She was covered in wounds and bandages, with fresh blood on them. Saying that she doesn’t want to go back and she wants to get away from the people who hurt her.
She was crying so much and Izuku can’t help but embrace the poor child.
Men with bird masks were surrounding both of them. Telling him to hand over the child but he wasn’t going to do that even if his life is at stake. He protected her from the bad people who wanted to hurt her. He used his quirks to knock out the bird people and run away safely.
By that day, they were stuck with each other.
Together they will help each and cover each other’s backs.
-
Izuku walked out the convenient store with a happy Eri on his arm munching on her donut while holding his groceries on his other hand.
Her smile brightens his day.
Today, he will find an abandoned building for now to settle. Sleeping in the park is nice and all but they need to find shelter from the weather and also being out in the open is bad especially when you are sleeping; who knows if someone would recognize them or rubbed them in their sleep.
“Izukun, say ahh” she said and Izuku looked at her. She was giving him half of the donut remained on her hand.
Eri was too sweet.
“Eri-chan you can eat them, I’m not hungry yet”
“No!” she pouted. “Eat! It’s good!” she proclaimed and Izuku couldn’t resist and ate the sweet donut, his hunger still roaring but a little bit satisfied.
“Thank you Eri-chan, that was delicious” she smiled at him and ate another one on a tiny box that she was holding.
-
What Izuku didn’t notice as he walked away was the man he met in the convenient store was looking at his back. Analyzing him with a critical eye.
“He looked so much like just like… him… it couldn’t be…”

Chapter 3: Finding a place to rest
Summary:
Izuku and Eri find a place to stay. For now at least
Notes:
Thank you so much for the wonderful comments! It really means a lot
Chapter Text
It took them half a day and finally they found an abandoned building to at least live temporarily and it was near a beach.
The salt water air was a breath of fresh air for Izuku. Maybe Eri would love to go to the beach from time to time too? It would be good for her he thought.
It has a quiet street, there are not much people around in this side of residence and looking at the dump of used appliances, other miscellaneous things that he can’t think off, and also rusty cars must be the reason why. It’s a peaceful place to his opinion. He hopes that there is also a hero who surveys the area at least. Hopefully.
Eri was asleep again on his back, her head resting on top of his shoulder and she was tired. It was understandable though. They’ve been searching for a place to stay for hours after all and Izuku was glad he found an abandon building in time before dark falls because he was getting tired as well, lightheaded even.
It was too dangerous to be out of the open as well. As the saying goes. Villains always come out in the night.
He entered the building and found a room and settles Eri on the corner near an open window. Thankfully that the building is clean, except for the spider webs and walls that have been painted with graffiti but it was a little faded, and some of the windows were boarded up. It doesn’t smell which is good, and there was no trash littering around and it was completely empty, devoid of any furnish.
He sighed. This is a perfect place to settle for now. Better and more secured than the park at least.
He looked outside the window and look at the junkyard filled beach. As much as there‘s the ocean just a few walks away, the junkyard was unsightly. He wondered why people have dumped their things at the beach. He wondered if this was a beautiful beach before, lively with people.
He was in thought. Since there was still sunlight to spare, maybe he could find something there like a soft foam bed to sleep by. He can’t let Eri sleep on the cold floor for a long period of time that would hurt her back.
He put his bag on the side near Eri and took out the All Might plushie so she will use it as a pillow, he then takes off his worn out jacket and covered her body like a make shift blanket.
He will be back soon.
He then proceeds to go outside and search for the important items that may help them and also maybe decorate their room? Just to give a spark and life in the room.
Yes he will do that.
-
When he was on the beach he looked around to see if someone was here. He felt too expose without his jacket to cover his head and the mask that he was wearing doesn’t cover his entire face… he shrugged the feeling.
No one was here to watch you. Stop being paranoid. He told himself to give him a little confidence.
He put his hands on the sand and used one of the quirks he has. He used a quirk named ‘Sketchy Map’ the quirk that could map out the area on the span of twenty meters. It works like a blueprint of some kind. In his mind, it creates a visual of everything that surrounds him and he could see what was under the piles to piles of garbage. The bad thing was that, it wasn’t one hundred percent clear. That’s why it was called ‘Sketchy’ because the layout of the map is not so clear, grainy in his opinion to the point of guessing what was under the pile and the shapes that they have under it. He obtained this quirk a long time ago when he was with a nice family of homeless people under the bridge. They were a lively family, always so happy even they don’t have anything. Always sharing what they have and what they can give. It was amazing. Anyways, at that time, they were serving hot beans in the cold night and the one who gave him a bowl that he doesn’t know had their hair on it so… he accidentally ate that hair and realized it was too late.
He doesn’t blame them though. It’s not like they have hairnets.
He smiled a little. He wondered where they are now…
When he finished lay-outing the area, he searched under the first pile of garbage. There was a microwave, electric-fan, an air-conditioner, a worn out plushie that has a computer head on it wearing a tuxedo, and a decent table. There were a few scratches on it but it is in tip top shape surprisingly with its four legs still attached. He could also keep the plushie to give to Eri, he just has to stitch some of its patches.
On the other pile of garbage he pulled out was a small desk cabinet, a radio that he will see if it still functions, a trash bin, a barrel, lamp, and surprisingly, a mug with an All Might print on it with a side crack on the side. He still took it though. Still no bed.
He almost searched one-fourth of the beach in search of a bed and he doesn’t have any luck. Though he gathered a lot of wood at least keep themselves warm for days at least. Maybe he’ll make a little chimney inside the room tomorrow. He’ll keep that in mind.
It was getting too dark so he stopped his search and looked at the things that he gathered with a proud smile on his face; feeling good about today’s accomplishments.
He needs to horde the items inside quickly. He just hoped that Eri was still asleep; it would be a shock for her if she woke up in a too dark room.
He coughs and coughs. He pulled down his mask and continued to cough.
He has overworked himself today… A little woozy with the lack of food.
“Do you need any help there, young man?”
Izuku was surprise and startled to hear someone in the beach. When did they even get there? He didn’t even hear someone even stepped on the sand or at least heard it near him.
He turned around, praying that it was not some villain, or someone that would recognize him. He saw someone that he couldn’t even believe his eyes. It was not a villain rather it was…
“A-All Might!” he shouted. His mouth wide open and his eyes shined.
He couldn’t believe it. His idol was here and he was super tall and bulkier in person. He was so different at the news and also the pictures on posters… Seeing him in the flesh and in front of him! It was like a dream come true! He must be dreaming…
The hero wasn’t wearing his hero costume rather it was just in his casual clothing. Maybe he was off duty and just wanted some peace and quiet? Still the giddiness inside him was screaming.
“Oh w-wow! All Might I-I-It’s an… Wow… you’re like what I see on TV…! I’m one of your b-biggest fans!” he stuttered.
Autograph… Yes, he needs an autograph, this was a one in a lifetime opportunity! He searched his pockets trying to find paper or even a pen. Heck he would want him to sign his shirt even and luckily, he has a pen on his pocket. “All Might sir! Um… can I have y-you’re a-a-aut-tograph?” he mumbled. His mind was running wild and the fanboy in him scream even more as the hero comes closer and closer.
All might looked at him and seemed to be too surprise as well.
“Sure my boy!”
Izuku’s eyes gleamed more. Sparkled. “P-Please sign my shirt, All Might sir!”
When All Might signed his shirt, his smile was wide and tears running to his eyes. “I won’t ever wash this shirt again” he mumbled but didn’t know that his idol heard it.
“Thank you!”
“It’s no problem young man”
Izuku bowed a lot of times thanking him. He then remembered that he has to take the things he found to the new apartment.
“Um… All Might sir… if it’s not much of a b-bother… can you help me pick these things up to that building over there?” he pointed to where the abandoned building is.
“Sure young man, I’ll help you”
-
All Might helped him carry the things to the building and was glad that it wasn’t too dark yet. He is thankful. Before he will get the things inside, he’ll wake Eri up to make sure she’s okay and let her know that he has to bring the things inside the room.
“Thank you again… All Might sir… umm… I’ll take it from here, hope you have a good evening!” he smiled and bowed again to show his appreciation.
-
Toshinori had kept a watchful eye on the young man. He followed him to the Dagobah beach and to his surprise. He found that he was hording a lot of the used and broken appliances in the junkyard.
From afar, he saw the young man dig through the piles of junk after junk. Getting all the important and useful items he could find.
He went closer. To his observation, he does look like All for One, the younger version of him to be exact… To be honest, he looked like a carbon copy of him and that it is really terrifying. What really differentiate him from the monster were the green highlights on his hair, and his eyes full of life and curiosity, and his thin like body that he thought that he couldn’t have eaten for days and as he observed more, he was too pale as well. When did the kid have a good meal?
It was really surprising to even see him almost fanboying at him and asking for an autograph. Even mumbling and sobbing that he wasn’t going to wash his shirt with his signature on it.
Would it be safe to assume that he just a look alike? Like those chances of having someone who looks like you even you are not related?
He doesn’t seem to even show off a villainous vibe on him. He was polite and his smile was genuine. Still he couldn’t drop his guard down. Who knows that he might be just acting?
He just hoped that it wasn’t the latter.
The kid was homeless and he cares for the little girl that was with him…
He even thanked him a lot that he lost count how many thanks he said to him when he helped him.
Still there’s the doubt that lingers on him.
The positive thought was thrown out the window immediately when he saw the boy opened his palm and there was small fire formed on top of it. Helping the boy navigate the dark halls of the building.
All Might’s fear has grown even more. Realizing that he had two quirks that are not even related to each other.
He needs to investigate.
-
Somewhere in a bar, a certain pale haired boy was conversing with someone and on his hand was a recent picture of his missing brother who was sleeping peacefully on a chair inside of a bus.
He looked too peaceful and too thin like he hasn’t eaten for days…
A man grinned with a toothy smile. “I’ll give you to where he is last seen if you give me the money you promised Tomura”
Tomura grin and hand him the money as promised.
“Now tell me where he is”
Chapter 4: Meeting new people is fun
Summary:
Eri meeting some teachers in U.A. and meeting a man she dubbed Lion Man
Chapter Text
Toshinori woke up from a nightmare.
His eyes were wide open and staring at the ceiling of his home.
It was a nightmare that he couldn’t ever forget.
His mentor facing All for One. Her death. Remembering her smile in the end. Hearing the monster’s laughter as he unleashed one of his most powerful attack to kill his mentor.
This nightmare. Was this because he saw the boy? How he looked like that monster?
He took a deep breath.
He needs to ask the boy… just to confirm it… if he has connections to them… if his quirk was the same as him… if the boy could have the other quirk because of him…
If… it is true then… All for one must still be alive…
He gritted his teeth.
-
It was early in the morning, around six in the morning. It was a school day and he has to prepare himself from his first time teaching class 1-A. He memorized every face of each of his students and their names, their quirks, and also wrote in advance his plans for each session. Well that was needed as the guidebook of how to be a good teacher.
But before he will go to U.A. to start the day; he has to meet that boy again. He doesn’t know his name yet and he has too many questions for him. He just wanted to make sure… Just to prove his doubt that it wasn’t true and that the monster is dead. He just needed to know.
When he went to the building where he last saw the boy, he felt something that was wrong. The quietness of the street doesn’t really help him to ease this feeling. Maybe the young man was still asleep?
There was the abandoned building and all of the things that he helped the boy with are gone. Maybe they already get it all inside over the night?
He took a deep breath and cautiously walked inside, peeking through the many rooms it had. Then he spotted an open door with a tiny rabbit toy on the side like it was guarding the front. He went to the door and peeked in and saw them. The boy wrapped with his jacket and the little girl looking at him with worry on her eyes.
What Toshinori noticed was the wet white cloth over the boy’s head.
The little girl noticed him and cried. She went to his side and dragged him towards the boy.
“Help big brother!” she cried and begged.
Toshinori was surprised but he didn’t really resist when he was dragged. When he was in front of the young man, he noticed how tight he was holding on the jacket, sweating and heaving a little. He put his hand on his head. The boy was having a really bad fever. He looked at the little girl who continued to cry not knowing what was happening and doesn’t know what to do.
He needs help and medical attention. Bringing him to Recovery Girl is a good idea…
He sighed and pulls his phone out. He will send in the message that he was going to be late today and he will bring someone with him once he got to U.A.
The girl eyed him. Fat tears on her eyes.
“Don’t worry little one, you’re brother is safe. I know someone that will help him”
“R-Really?” she asked as she wiped her tears.
“You can trust me” he smiled, reassuring her that everything is going to be alright.
She looked up to him again “Are you a h-hero?” she ask with a curious tone.
“Yes… I’m a hero” he gave her one of his signature smile.
-
“Oh dear me” Recovery Girl mumbled.
“Is he going to be alright?” Toshinori asked, sitting on one of the chairs in the infirmary.
Recovery Girl shook her head. “I already gave him the medicine to bring down his fever, you don’t have to worry, he just need to rest for the day, maybe tomorrow he’ll be as good as new” he sighed in relief when he heard those words.
He looked at the boy in the bed. When he carried him, he was too light and he was easy to carry. He doesn’t even need to be in his buff form to carry him too. Which was super alarming. Now at least he can take it easy because the boy was hooked up to an IV just to get some nutrients in him.
“He seemed to be too malnourish for his age” she commented. “How he survived this long is just a miracle”
“He strong!” The girl who they now known as Eri, said in proclamation to the two adults in the room. She was sitting next to the boy and on her hand was an All Might plushie that she happened to put next to her brother after the proclamation.
“That he is” Recovery girl smiled, happy at seeing Eri’s smile.
“Eri-chan”
Eri looked at Toshinori. “I have to go for now” he said as he went next to her and pat her on the head. “I’ll be right back once I finish my job for the day” he smiled.
“But!”
“I promise I’ll come back” he put his hand to his chest and makes a cross sign over his heart. “It’s a hero’s promise”
She stared and a pout was forming on her face. “Okay…” she said with a frown.
Recovery girl chuckled.
-
Aizawa went to the clinic to get some eye drops because he left his back at home. It wasn’t like him to forget but it just passed his mind. He blamed a certain loud mouth idiot for distracting him when he called him on his phone too early in the morning.
Talking about his newest songs and send him cat videos.
When he arrived at the clinic he saw a little girl who was with Recovery Girl, on the other side, there was someone on the corner who was covered up with the curtains. A student? No, it was too early in the morning for a student to be admitted here in the infirmary.
“Ah, Aizawa! Do you need something?”
He looked at her and nodded.
“Eyedrops” he replied. “I forgot mine at home”
She huffed and sighed. “You really should always keep a bottle extra in your desk dear in case you forget it again” She went to the cabinet, searching for a spare.
Aizawa looked at the little girl that was now looking at him with curiosity on her eyes.
“Since you’re here, can you take Eri with you to the cafeteria?”
He stared at the hero.
“She hasn’t eaten yet and I would like to make her feel welcome” she said as she gave him the spare eye drops. “I would like to go to but as you can see I have to take care of her brother over there” she pointed at the corner on the occupied bed covered in curtains.
“She’s a shy girl but she’s also behave, you don’t have to worry about her”
-
Why did he have to agree with this?
They were in the cafeteria and Eri was eating a lot of food that could fill three people at best. There were sparkles on her eyes as she tried all the food he gave her especially the sweets. Lunch Rush was spoiling the kid even giving her ice cream for breakfast.
Everyone who was early in the cafeteria seemed to stare at them even some of his students.
Aizawa-sensei has a kid?
Isn’t she so cute?
I want to pinch her cheeks!
I wonder whose child is that
Aizawa tries not to pinch the bridge of his nose, it’s still early in the morning, and he doesn’t want to deal with this.
“Thank you for the food”
He looked at the girl who gave him a small smile, at least though that the kid was polite and not like any other brats on her age.
When they walk back to the infirmary. Eri was riding on Aizawa’s shoulder, making small braids on his back. He was carrying extra food from the cafeteria because Eri wanted to give her big brother the delicious food too. That he will like it she said to him.
Wonder what happened to them.
“What’s this?~”
Aizawa groaned. He turned around to see the face of Nemuri and also Hizashi who was grinning at him.
Nemuri pointed at Eri. “Who is this little angel?” Nemuri asked with a curious yet teasing tone.
Eri hid her head behind Aizawa and only taking a peek to the side.
“Her name is Eri and I’m just getting her back to the infirmary” he deadpanned.
Hizashi come closer and gave Eri a wave. “Hello little listener! You can call me Uncle Zashi! Is grumpy Shouta treating you well?”
Eri nodded giving him a tiny wave. “He gave me food” she whispered. “He a hero like big brother and lion man” she mumbled.
Hizashi chuckled. “He’s a hero indeed, Shouta here is the best hero”
“You came here with your big brother?” Nemuri asked and Eri nodded. Telling them a little story how a Lion man came and help her big brother.
-
They arrived at the infirmary and Recovery Girl was surprise to see the two other teachers.
Aizawa dropped Eri down and immediately she dashed through inside the curtains to where her big brother was.
“The kid’s not awake?” Aizawa asked.
Recovery girl shook her head in confirmation. “Poor boy, he must have overworked himself to the point of exhaustion”
“A problem child then?”
She glared at him and he sighed.
Eri peeked out in the curtains with a sad smile on her face. “Thank you Zawa-san”
Aizawa just nodded in confirmation and bid a good bye to the girl leaving the other three other heroes.
He has a job to do afterall.
-
He was in his buff form and beside him were young Bakugou and young Uraraka, guiding them towards the clinic. They got injured from their earlier activity that he thought that it will gone smoothly but it didn’t sadly. Bakurou’s arm was crushed by the cement when the building was coming down due to his recklessness against young Todoroki while Uraraka was too nauseous from overusing her quirk. Nothing that Recovery girl can’t fix at least.
It’s a surprise for Toshinori to see the other two teachers inside the infirmary.
Eri was braiding Nemuri’s hair and Hizashi was chatting with the girl. Telling her stories about Aizawa and their misadventures as heroes.
“Don’t you two have jobs to do?” he asked and looked at the two and the two teacher’s attention was turned to him.
“Don’t be like that All Might! We left the students a group project activity to pass the time so that we could keep the little angel here some company isn’t that right Eri-chan?”
Eri was quiet and stared at him for a very long time.
“You’re Bun-bun man!”
Everyone in the room snorted.

Chapter Text
An endless void of white…
That’s all Izuku could ever see except for the tall table in front of him with a bowl of unknown food.
It was strange yet, it looked too familiar like he has seen that bowl from before.
But then again, he was hungry and in his mind, he was curious, wondering what was inside it.
He approached the table, his feet doesn’t make a sound at every step like the world was devoid of sound. Then he stopped. There was something that was tugging his wrist and when he looked at it, it looked like something like an IV attached to him. Just like when he was little.
His legs unconsciously went back and hold the metal stand. Strangely it felt warm and comforting for some odd reason. Maybe it was because it was the only thing that helped him survived over a year that it was comforting? He will never know.
He dragged the metal stand with him with little to no resistance towards the table. When he arrived in front of it, it wasn’t that tall as he thought. He then looked at the chair, his free hand touched the wooden chair edges, it looked comfortable with a small pillow under it, the edges are smooth almost like tempting him to sit on it, and so he did. It was comfortable to say the least. He looked over the bowl and saw the mystery food inside. It was Katsudon. His favorite.
It’s been so long that he tasted one of those. The last time he remembered eating one was when he was back home. Kurogiri-san would cook him Katsudon every breakfast, he was a good cook in Izuku’s opinion, and he loves his cooking a lot.
The food in front of him was warm. Freshly cooked. He could even faintly smell how delicious it is. His mouth watered, his stomach growling at him but he just couldn’t bring himself to eat.
“Having troubles there Izuchan?”
That voice…
He hadn’t heard that voice for years. “T-Tomu-nii?” he whispered. Though his voice was small not like what he sounded. He looked up to see Tomu-nii’s figure in front of him on the other side of the table. He wasn’t there before. He was staring at him with his bored red eyes. His childish frown decorated his face. Izuku knows that look and that was a look when he is upset and also disappointed.
“Was it the smell?” Tomu-nii asked, scratching his neck. “Don’t you like it? Kurogiri said that it was your favorite” he approached Izuku to the side and hold his arm, his grip was cold and tight. He could feel his fingers dig in to his flesh.
“T-Tomu-nii, it hurts… s-stop! Let go, p-please”
“You haven’t eaten for weeks, Izuchan. It worries me, sensei worries too” he ignored Izuku’s plead. His face morphed to a smile that stretches as humanly as possible over his ears and Izuku started to panic, this wasn’t his big brother, this must be a dream, yes that might be it, why can’t he wake up! “Oh, I know!” Tomu-nii imposter exclaimed. His ruby eyes glared at his emerald ones looking at him like he had the best idea. He let go of his arm and pulled the bowl in front of him to his hand. The Katsudon was long gone and was replaced by the red texture and liquid blood. He could see fingers, eyes, and hairs inside the bowl, floating aimlessly. “I will help you eat” the imposter said with a smile.
Izuku was terrified, shivering with fear. “No!” he shouted. He tried to stand but the chair that he was sitting morphed into a chair that has hands all over it. It was holding his head, wrist, arm, and his legs. Every time he struggles, the hands on the chair tighten even further, digging to his flesh and crushing his bones.
Tomura took one eye on the bowl. “It’s delicious, Izuchan” he said with a glee. He grinned and proceeded to put his free hand on his nose and pinched it.
Izuku was morbid and realized what the imposter was trying to do. He was trying to force him to open his mouth since he couldn’t breathe through his nose. He had no choice but to breathe through the mouth.
He tried to close it. Tried to hold in his breath. “Izuchan~ I know you can’t hold your breath forever~” the imposter giggled.
Izuku looked at him with fear, his heart was beating too fast, and this wasn’t helping him because he was starting to hyperventilate. The eye on his hand was staring back at him. Blue eyes… just like All Might has…
He was holding his breath for so long and he can’t hold it much longer. He needs to breathe. He opened his mouth to gulp in the precious air and the imposter quickly shoved the eye inside his mouth.
Izuku’s eyes widen. He wanted to spit it out but his mouth was covered by the imposter’s hand, not letting go of him anytime sooner.
Fat tears were rolling of his face. Why can’t he wake up? Someone please wake him up. Wake him up on this nightmare.
“Very good, Izuchan. Now you have to chew it thoroughly now~”
Izuku didn’t chew but he swallowed the eyeball whole, he could hear Tomura’s chuckling and laughter.
“See, it wasn’t that bad, was it, Izuchan?”
-
He woke up in cold sweat and throw up immediately. He doesn’t care if he would ruin his jacket, he’ll have to clean it later. He just wanted to get it out of his system. He puked out nothing but bile or maybe some of his stomach acid in there. He just doesn’t care. He wants to get the eye out.
That nightmare was too real to be not true.
“Big brother!”
He snapped out of his thoughts and heard Eri’s cries. She was sobbing and was clinging to a white blanket like it was her lifeline. She must have woken her up and must have frightened her.
He heaved. He was now awake. In the real world…
Seeing Eri was a relief but then he looked at what she was holding.
‘Wait… a white blanket’ he thought.
He looked around, observing his surroundings. He was somewhere foreign, this wasn’t the room they were.
He was in a white room. It smelled too clean and it doesn’t smell like the salt water air. Maybe in a clinic? How did he end up here? More importantly who brought him here?
“It seems that you’re awake there, sonny” it was an old woman’s voice and when he looked at her. She looked somewhat familiar then it snapped to him.
“Y-you’re Recovery Girl!” he shouted. He has seen her on some of the hero interviews on the television before. She was shorter in personal he took note.
She nodded in confirmation and gave him a warm smile. “How are you feeling? You seemed to have an upset stomach there, I have a medicine here that will help you”
Izuku looked at the ruined white blanket and rolled it off. “I’m sorry about the… blanket… I could clean it off… I don’t have any money to pay you…” he trailed off.
“It’s fine, dear” she came closer. “What’s more important is your health and you’re okay” she pointed at the blanket. “You can roll it to the side dear, I’ll let someone pick it up and give you a new one”
Izuku fidget his hands. “I-I’m really sorry…”
The hero sighed and shook her head but in a more motherly way. If they continued on, Izuku will apologize even more. So she just dropped the subject.
-
The hero told him that he was in an infirmary of a school named U.A. It was one of the top schools in the country that teaches the future pro heroes. She also told him what time it was and it was the evening around evening or so. Then she explained the reason why he was here and it was because he has a terrible fever. Someone brought him here to recover.
She offered him water to drink and to wash the sourness of his mouth. She also gave him some gummy bears to chew. It was delicious.
Eri told him that it was ‘Lion man’ that brought him here. Apparently he entered the abandoned building and come across him and Eri.
He doesn’t know why and what was his purpose there and that was alarming for him at first but then he realized that he was in a Hero school of all places. They couldn’t just get in if the heroes can’t trust him. He must be important or has a connection to the heroes.
She even told him stories of Zawa-san, Uncle Zashi and Aunt Muri. They are nice and gave her food and also new comfy clothes. She also told him of ‘Bun Bun man’ to Izuku’s knowledge, that’s what All Might plushie’s nickname, was here and gave her a lift. She felt so tall like she could touch the sky.
Izuku smiled. Could it be that All Might was here as well?
That answered his question when All Might himself opened the doors of the clinic and on his hands were fresh clothes that seem too small for him.
“It’s nice to see you again, young man” his voice booming. “I hope that you are doing well!”
“Y-yes, sir! I’m d-doing well, thank you for helping me yesterday”
“Please call me All Might” All Might chuckled. “And like I said yesterday, I’m glad to be able to help” he then put the clothes on the side of the bed. “By the way, I didn’t get your name, young man”
“Ah” Izuku mumbled.
“It’s Izuku… Midoriya Izuku”
Notes:
Will be on break next week, Might as well do some art while I rest. I hope you like the story so far!
Also a quick note. I really love like a part on a show named Hanibal? Like it's super good. I've got a lot of inspiration from there. Especially this nightmare part. there's this part in the show where he implanted a severed in the stomach from his target? Like the target is like half conscious and man I really love that moment of shock XD
I also like listen to some crime documentaries. They are really good to listen by.

Chapter Text
The cafeteria is eerie quiet in this late of night. It’s like walking into a horror show. A wide open area, every corner of the room was pitch dark except for the area where the moon’s light is visible; it was cold and too quiet.
Izuku doesn’t mind though. His mind was occupied while eating the warm chicken broth soup in front of him.
All Might was the one who ordered it for him and it was super good. It’s been so long that he has eaten any good and delicious food with no fear or whatsoever. He trusts the hero. Who wouldn’t though?
He was taking his time to eating, savoring the taste and warmth in his mouth, and also he doesn’t want to get an upset stomach again that would be bad for him.
Eri was sitting beside him, drinking a glass of warm milk to help her sleep. She’s a growing kid after all, and she needs her sleep.
Izuku gave a small smile. This was a blessing even if it’s just for a day.
The doors of the cafeteria opened and on the door was a man with golden spiky hair and have bangs on the side, his eyes were sunken and Izuku could see the blue irises under neat, he could also that his face has sunken as well, he could see the jawbones clearly. His body was lean and yet thin, He was wearing a white shirt and baggy pants and on his hands were what seemed to be two cans of soda and tea.
He saw this man before though, he remembered that he was the one who was in the convenient store… what was he doing here?
“Lion Man! You came back!” Eri shouted and a bright wide smile was on her face.
Izuku tilted his head in confusion as his attention went to Eri and then turned to the man once again. So this was the one who saved him? How can he even carry him to U.A? Was he not that heavy to carry? Now that’s making Izuku a little bit self conscious.
The man that was dubbed as ‘Lion man’ gave a small wave at Eri and approached the two. “Hello you two” He sat on the opposite side of the table.
“How was your day, Eri? Did you look after your big brother while I was gone?”
“Uh huh!” Eri nodded and put her arms in the air. “Big brother is cured! I’m a good n-norse!”
Izuku chuckled. “It’s nurse, Eri-chan”
“Nu-rse?”
“That’s right” he gave her a chuckle and a smile.
“Nu-rse!” she beamed. “I’m a good nu-rse!”
Both Izuku and the man chuckled. Eri’s bright personality is just contagious.
“I bet you are going to be the best nurse or doctor in the future Eri”
The man then looked at Izuku, his attention focus on him. He then gave the can of soda to him. “Here young Midoriya, this is for you” a soft smile formed on the man’s lips. “How are you doing?” he looked at him with concern on his eyes. “All Might told me that you woke up around this evening and he was still worried about you. He is sorry that he couldn’t come back to check on you again but he sent me instead to check up on you.”
“All Might sent you?” Izuku asked and a little bit surprised hearing that.
He nodded. “I’m Yagi Toshinori. I’m his assistant.” He put a small smile. “It’s a pleasure to finally meet you young Midoriya”
Izuku’s eyes shinned so bright. He was All Might’s assistant and that’s amazing. He wondered what it like is to work for the number one hero! That’s amazing! “It’s also a pleasure as well Yagi-san!” he then remembered that he needs to thank him so he bowed his head a little.
Yagi-san gave him a confused look at that gesture. “Thank you so much for helping me today. Without you I could have still been sick and would have worried Eri-chan even more”
Yagi-san chuckled. “It’s alright, young man. I’m glad to help others in need”
He looked up and nodded. Yagi-san is nice, he seems so kind too. His voice was sincere and there’s something about him like you are safe and secured, that there’s no harm will come for you... Just like All Might…
He can trust this man as well.
He looked at the little girl who already finished drinking her milk and was yawning and rubbing her tired eyes. He patted her head. She was getting tired and sleepy so he gently put her head to his side and let him to be her pillow. She yawned again and closed her eyes, drifting off to her own dreamland.
“Good night Eri, sweet dreams”
-
Toshinori drinks his warm tea and Izuku was drinking his can of soda as well. “I’m curious my boy…” he said as he put his cup of tea down. The young man looked up at him with those curious emerald eyes. He needed to know something. Young Midoriya seemed to be a trusted person, kind hearted as well as he observed throughout the day. He cares for his little sister a lot and loves heroes. To him, he was also fanatic young man that admires heroes especially his alter ego All Might.
He shows no hostility and the face that he always shows to him were true and doesn’t feel forced.
He was the exact opposite of the monster.
Still he needed to ask to save his curiosity and to stop his doubt.
“Where are your parents?” he paused. “How long have you two been in the streets?”
Izuku put his can of soda. A sad frown on his lips yet he could see a linger fear on those eyes. He was quiet. He bets that he was trying to collect his thoughts and Toshinori gave him some time to respond. He was not looking at him which is worrisome.
“I’ve been living in the streets for years… since I was around eight years old, Yagi-san” his thumb brushing some of the water on the surface of the can. “I’ve been with Eri-chan for months now. I don’t know how long though, I’ve lost count” he admitted.
“You two are not related?” he asked. Though it was obvious from the beginning, he just wants to make sure.
“Oh no! She was the same as me where we don’t know where to go from there and we just stick together like siblings”
Toshinori nodded.
“I don’t know about Eri-chan’s parents. She never really told me about her mom and dad so maybe they have passed away? I just don’t know, maybe someday though she will tell me”
He then continued. “As for my parents…I… never met my mother. My father told me that she passed away when she gave birth to me” he continued to trail off. “I still have a father but… I don’t know where my father is now but I don’t want to see him again. He has done a lot of bad and terrible things”
Toshinori’s interest perked. Bad and terrible things? Could it be that the young man’s father is a villain?
“What kind of terrible things, my boy? Has he hurt you?”
Young Midoriya was quiet. Not looking at him.
His grip on the can was a little tighter. Toshinori looked at him a bit worried and concerned. “I’ve seen him hurt someone…” the boy was now crying. Toshinori wanted to stop the boy but he continued on. “Dad… Dad was… bad and I couldn’t stand it any longer… I-I was s-scared… I didn’t know what to do… I don’t know if that man was alive… but I’ve seen him being tortured…” his voice trembled. “I don’t know how long he has been doing it… or why he does it… maybe it was because of m-me… b-because of my q-quirk… I-don’t know…”
His quirk?
The young boy wiped his teary eyes. “So I decided to run away instead… m-maybe… he will stop… maybe i-if I’m not there anymore he won’t go after people…”
Young Midoriya wiping his tears on his face. Breathing in to collect himself. They stayed quiet for a while.
“I-I’m sorry Yagi-san…” his puffy eyes looked at his blue ones. “I-I don’t know what came through me…”
Toshinori shook his head. “That is alright my boy” he told him and gave him a reassurance. He thought that maybe the boy has bottled this emotion for a very long time with no one to talk to and to trust. If it’s true that the boy’s father is a villain, no wonder he couldn’t trust anyone and bottled this memory.
Since he was in a hero school of all places, maybe he has felt safe. Maybe he felt safe to show what’s bottling him deep inside. He looks too vulnerable
“If I may ask, what is your quirk, young Midoriya?”
He looked away for a second.
“C-Can you keep a secret Yagi-san?”
“That depends, young man” He put his hand on the back. “If that secret is a dangerous one, I will notify other pro heroes of it but if it’s not, I’ll keep it a secret”
The boy let go of the can and put his hand on the edge of the table. He took a long deep breath and sighed with a shrug.
“O-okay…” he mumbled quietly. “M-my quirk… I-I didn’t have a name for it yet but…”
Please let it not be All for one.
“I can stockpile quirks”
Toshinori’s heart stopped a beat. Did he just hear that right? He looked at the young man. A sweat rolled down to his chin. He can stockpile quirks? So his dad is…!
The young man isn’t looking at him which is good for Toshinori because the expression that he was making was horrified.
“S-stockpile…?”
The boy frowned and nodded.
“It’s more like… I can copy the quirk of anybody by ingesting their DNA then it stays there permanently, in a way stockpiling it” Toshinori snapped his focus to that explanation, his breathing calm down a bit after hearing that.
There was silence.
It was the same… but different all together.
It sounds like a combination of All for one and One for All…
A mutation? It could be possible that he is not connected to the monster at all or perhaps he was a descendant of either All for One and One for All? He doesn’t know. There is still a possibility but Izuku and he are way too different. Polar opposites even, there’s just no way.
“Yagi-san?”
Toshinori’s started a bit and looked at the boy who was now looking at him, confused.
“I’m alright my boy, I’m just a bit of surprised that’s all” he then gave him a relieve smile.
He never has been so relieve in his life. Though that got him thinking… maybe he could help him. With his quirk, the possibilities of him being hunted down are high and if villains know about him that would mean trouble. Even if that the monster would be alive, it was still dangerous for the young man to be just out in the open with no skill and knowledge…
He’ll talk Nedzu about this later.
“Stockpiling quirks huh? With a quirk like that and your kind heart. I bet you’re going to be a good pro hero someday young Midoriya”
There was a sad and yet happy smile on the young man’s face.
“I… always wanted to be a hero, maybe someday. But that’s not my first priority in the list”
“Oh?”
The young boy looked at the sleeping little girl to his side.
“Eri-chan’s needs has to come first” the boy brushed her hair. “I’m her big brother and I’ll do my best to provide for her. I’ll save enough to get her to school, give her everything that she wanted. I want to give her a future.”
Toshinori couldn’t help but admire the young man. He was Selfless. A good brother. A true hero.
-
In the abandoned building near the beach. A hooded person was shown to have entered the quiet building.
You could hear the smashing of wood and glass followed by the echoed shouts of a young man.
“THAT FUCKING LIAR, I’M GOING TO KILL HIM”

Chapter Text
It was morning and he and Eri was about to go back to their little home when he heard a surprising news from Yagi-san.
It was awkward to say the least. Yagi-san asked him to follow him and he wanted to say something to him before he and Izuku will part ways or so he thought. They were in the faculty room. Everyone who was early in the room looked at him like he was not expected which he couldn’t really blame since he was wearing like ragged clothing, even have holes to some part of his clothing and it looked like it wasn’t washed for days which is a fact by the way. Though All Might gave him some fresh clothing earlier… he just couldn’t wear it without taking a long bath or a shower. He doesn’t want to stain a perfect gift.
Eri though let go of his hand and went to a long sofa inside the room and on the sofa was a man who happened to be in an orange sleeping bag, sleeping. He had long black hair and bags over his eyes. He thought that maybe this was Zawa-san that Eri talked about based on her description. He seemed to be friendly to say the least as he heard from her.
Eri was staring at the man and was poking his cheeks though she stopped when the man was not going to wake up. Huh, maybe he was a heavy sleeper? But judging from the bags over his eyes, he really does deserve to sleep. The next thing that she done was just sitting on the sofa, trying her best not to disturb the sleeping man again.
He turned around as Yagi-san asked him to sit and talked to him about something.
That something is just a shock for him.
“I’m going to what now?”
“You’re going to study here in U.A” said the blond man who was now drinking a glass of water. Izuku’s face looked like his mind went somewhere. “I enrolled you in the school and you’re going to take a special exam to test your ability and knowledge” Yagi-san told him with a beaming smile, he seemed to be proud and in a way excited but Izuku was confused, shocked, speechless and yet there’s the feeling of excitement and doubt? In a way, it was complicated. He was a mess of emotions at the moment. He just couldn’t believe it.
“But Yagi-san! I don’t think I’m qualified to be here!”
“Don’t say that my boy, don’t look down on yourself” he put his glass down on the table.
“But I don’t have the money to even be here… and I… and I might attach trouble and…!” Yagi-san knew of his quirk since he has told him last night. He knew about some parts of his past and the possibilities of him getting trouble. Izuku knows the U.A is the best hero school and has the best securities to offer but… to his fear that his father would find him here.
Izuku wanted to say something more but the blond cut him off, he could see the blonds’ expression is a little bit irritated.
“You don’t have to worry. I have talked about this with All Might and the Principal of U.A.” he chuckled a bit. “I have recommended you to them and they want to test you to see if you really do deserve to be here” Izuku was too speechless… He talked with All Might and the Principal?
“After all, I and All Might believe in you, young Midoriya. You have potential to be a great hero someday and we want you to succeed. You don’t have to worry about shelter or money for that matter. I will be the one who will sponsor you”
Izuku bit his lips. He was filled with a lot of emotions right now and he was trying not to cry.
“Y-Yagi-san…”
“We just want you to succeed my boy, for you to follow your dreams and give you a chance in a future that you wanted to fulfill” he reached over and pat him on the shoulder.
There was a pause and silence till it was broken by a sob. Izuku’s face was full of tears.
He couldn’t thank Yagi-san enough for this opportunity…
The blond waited for him to settle down from his crying and when he was done and it took almost forever to gather himself.
He looked up, his eyes were puffy from the tears.
“You’ve done so much for me… I can’t t-thank you enough… I-I… I don’t know how I can repay you both… Yagi-san. You and A-All Might believing in me…”
He chuckled. His beaming smile was brighter than before.
“That’s all right my boy, you don’t have to repay me” he said and put his hand on his curly hair and gave him a soft pat. “Just pass the test that All Might and the principal set up. Make us proud”
Another batch of tears was coming and Izuku yet again tried to hold his tears. “I-I will not disappoint you” he declared.
“When do I start the t-test?”
-
In a quiet bar that was hidden near the alley way. A young man with a light sliver blue hair was sitting at the bar table and was looking at the list of names. These were the names of the low life villains that have joined in to their cause which to him, they are irrelevant.
He and Kurogiri have recruited them to be the pawns to their little plot, a plot to kill All Might and destroy the heroes. There were a lot to have joined to their cause which was good to say the least.
To him, this was a first step to recognize the League of Villains, to strike fear to the hearts of millions of people and reform their society. In a way, it’s like a debut to them, the fall of heroes and the rise of villains of the century. He just couldn’t wait to destroy those heroes. This plan was flawless especially when they have their secret weapon ready.
“Shigaraki”
The young man looked at to the side which there was a large television that only shows static. Though to him, he knows that someone was on the other side of the screen, watching him.
“Sensei” Shigaraki greeted. “Everything is according to plan and as it should be. All we have to do now is wait for that special day and we will crash the heroes who stand in our way, even kill the golden eggs of U.A will be a bonus reward as well” he put down the list. “I can’t wait to see their faces in agony!”
“Excellent, you have done a good job Shigaraki”
“Thank you Sensei”
“What about your search on Izuku? Have you found him yet?”
Shigaraki’s nails gripped the surface of the table. “No… I haven’t found him” he gritted his teeth. “The information that I got from a lousy intel was lying and I’m going to kill him the next time I see them”
Shigaraki could feel the frown of his sensei even if he didn’t see his face on the screen.
“I see…” there was disappointment on his tone. There was silence but he knows that sensei was thinking about something. “Can I see the photo again Shigaraki?”
He knows the photo that he was talking about. It was a photo of Izuchan that the intel gave him. It was a worrisome photo. He knew that the little boy that is his little brother was grown up now, a teenager even but his state was alarming to say the least. He could see that he has lost almost all of his baby fat in his face, though the recognizable features of him were the freckles and the curly fluff green hair, His skin was paler and thinner than before. Sickly even. When was the last time that his little brother even eats a decent meal even for a day? He hates to even show this picture to sensei but he knows that he can’t deny the request.
He pulled the photo out of his pocket and showed it to him.
Silence.
A second passed by, and the second turned to a minute but to Shigaraki, it was too long. He could hear his sensei mumble. Words that he couldn’t hear.
“Thank you, you can put the photo down”
He nodded and put the photo back on his pocket.
“Get your rest, Shigaraki”
He nodded. “Yes sensei” and the screen of the television turned off.
-
On the other side of the screen, Sensei was sighing, his hands were clench to a fist for some odd reason, and he felt something disturbing in the universe or the world per say, like a part of him being ripped away.
Seeing his son’s recent photo and seeing his state. A wave of anger, fear and also relief was he could felt.
Anger because he felt that his people are incompetent that they can’t even find his boy for all those years. Fear for his son and his degrading health, just like what have happened to his brother so long ago… it’s like the universe have wanted him to suffer yet he felt relief… relief that his son was still alive, he was still out there and they are so close.
He just hoped that Shigaraki will find him soon and bring him home.
He doesn’t know the reason why his son would run away, he can’t really think or any reason at all… to him he might have sneak away to play outside and might have gotten lost?
A hero might have corrupted him over those years of his absence, or maybe he was kidnapped that someone might have known their location. He just doesn’t know and it was worrying him to no end.

Chapter Text
Class 1-A is a lively class. Well in Aizawa’s case, problematic and a drag, still he cares for them as a teacher and of all the classes he had, this class has a lot of potential.
“Aizawa-sensei”
He turned to his class and squinted his eyes a little bit. A wave of irritation on his eyes hit him. He really hated his dry eyes. He should have at least taken a few eyedrops along the way to his classroom earlier but it just completely passed his mind. “What is it?” he asked the class. The one who called out his name was a student name Mina Ashido. She was putting her hand down and pointed at him or more likely on his back.
“Um” she muttered. “Sensei, why is there a kid on your shoulder?”
Ah…
The little girl, Eri was on his shoulder and she was looking at them with those curious strawberry colored eyes of hers, observing them one by one, maybe noting everyone and making nicknames on the top of her head.
She’s probably making everyone curious too. Why would he take care of a little girl in the middle of the class no less? How did he end babysitting her?
It was a short or long story.
When he woke up, the first thing he noticed was that his legs feel so numb like the circulation on his legs was cut off and it felt too heavy. Then there’s the part where he seemed to be not woken up by the loud mouth idiot that is Hizashi or even Nemuri for that matter. He looked down and to his surprise, he saw the little girl again. Eri.
She was making his sleeping bag as a pillow. He was about to move when Nemuri stopped him and told him to not wake her up. Apparently, Hizashi has the courtesy to take pictures of them while he was sleeping earlier and saying how cute the two of them together like a father and daughter duo.
He still has to move though. He has a class to teach and he doesn’t want to be late. He hates being late.
Then he met a boy, probably in his early teens who has introduced himself as Eri’s brother and he apologized about her. He carried her gently trying not to wake her up from her sleep.
The boy must have been the one who was in the infirmary yesterday. The boy seemed normal. Freckles on the face, green eyes, green hair, alarmingly thin but judging from his ragged clothes, it was understandable. He must have been homeless. He wondered where his parents are?
The boy seemed to be nice, he seemed to mutter a lot and seemed to be a hero fan. He even asked him if he was also a hero but he just couldn’t reveal his identity just like that. Underground Hero and all of that.
Then there’s a call to the Principal’s office.
It was a surprise for Aizawa. He wondered why he was called. It’s not like he has done something wrong, but it’s not like the principal to just do that unless there was a dire or serious situation.
When he was in the office, Principal Nedzu was folding a file. It wasn’t that thick to be honest, rather, it was just two pages long. It was strange.
To his surprise, Nedzu was asking him if he could bring 1-A class with him on his little plan.
It seems though that the boy he met earlier. Midoriya Izuku as Nedzu told him his name. Will be having a special entrance exam test. A test that could also help the Class 1-A as well. Apparently, it seemed that the boy had quirks, multiple of them, which sounds impossible but he has yet to see it for himself.
All Might and Principal Nedzu has plans and they wanted to at least be one of the facilitators of the test, to at least avoid any complications.
He was handled with the boy’s document and when he looked at it. It seems he was a recommendation from All Might, a little bit late because it’s already the start of the class this year but he was an exemption due to his case.
A homeless kid with multitude of quirks that they still have yet to see is a magnet of trouble. A magnet for villains even.
To him, the boy is a problem child. He just have to wait and see what he is capable off. If he had potential.
When the talk was done, he went back to the faculty room to get his lesson plans but apparently when he went there, Nemuri gave him Eri and said that he has to babysit her. Apparently, the big brother was with All Might at the moment and in the training grounds and Nemuri and Hizashi agreed to babysit the little girl though they have dragged him along as well.
They will have to take turns and he was the first one on the job.
Now we are here and the reason why he had her.
“She’s a friend’s kid” In a way, so it seems to be… Nemuri and Hizashi just adopted the kid unofficially.
He continued to teach as he proceeded to give the class a lecture on tactics.
-
Excitement and nervousness. That’s what Izuku feels at the moment.
He was with All Might in the training grounds. He was nervous to say the least. Adrenaline was present in his system. This was a test. Well the start of the test. Deep inside he was a mess. He hasn’t been on a test before or even in a school test.
He never had a test in his entire like and now here he was.
To Izuku’s surprise, there were in a small city. It was still huge to Izuku’s opinion, it’s also looked like a replica, he just couldn’t put his finger to where he saw this pattern of the city before.
“Young Midoriya”
“Y-Yes!” he stuttered and stood up straight. All Might was looking at him oddly, must be because how jumpy he was.
“Relax my boy! The test hasn’t start yet, we just have to wait for Aizawa’s students to arrive” he said to him as he pat his shoulder.
“For now, since we are here. You can show me some of the quirks that you said that you have”
“The quirks? A-are you sure? I… I… I don’t think…”
He would want to show All Might his quirks but he doesn’t know what he would show off? Showing off is just bad as well but the fanboy in him wants to show it off. He doesn’t want for All Might to be disappointed on him…
“No need to be afraid, just show to me some of the quirks that you have mastered or think that can be useful in the field of heroics”
“A quirk… useful for heroics…” he muttered.
He could think a few that he has. Maybe strength enhancements one just like All Might?
“How about this” All Might said and put his hand on his chest.
“Try to hit me”
“W-what…!?” Izuku shouted and stuttered. “N-no I can’t do that! I… I…”
He doesn’t want to hurt or even try to hurt his idol! That’s crazy!
“I know you can, try to think of me as a villain”
“I don’t know… are you s-sure, A-All Might?”
“What if I go overboard…!”
“Don’t worry about it Young Midoriya, try your best shot and don’t hold back”
Izuku gulped and tried to collect himself.
“O-okay… if you say so…”
He prepared himself. If All Might said that he shouldn’t hold back… He took a deep breath and focus on the quirks he had especially the strength augmentation and the muscle enhancement ones. He could feel his arm being ripped apart by this. His head hurts, pulsing even. He can feel the blood dripped down his nose.
“I’m so sorry in advance All Might…!”
-
There was a loud boom.
There was a mini earthquake as well.
Everyone in U.A heard the loud boom and wondered where it came from and it was not that far away and it was so close. Some of the students who were eating their snacks in the cafeteria panicked and some looked outside to see what was the fuss about.
Then they hear an announcement.
“Attention everyone” it was the Principal’s voice. “No need for alarm or panic. There was a test being conducted in the training grounds. Please kindly go back to your classroom and continue your lessons”
The only thing that the students were curious about was what kind of test were they were doing to even do such a thing like that…
-
“What the fuck”
A certain blond cursed under his breath. “What the fuck was that”
Everyone in class 1-A was muttering.
Aizawa just ignore all of the class muttering though he couldn’t help but wonder, is All Might testing the kid’s quirk… “What the hell is that idiot doing?”
“Zawa-san?”
Aizawa looked at Eri who was now clinging to his scarf.
“Is… big brother okay?”
Aizawa sighed. This was going to be a long day.
-
In the training ground, there was a huge crater. It is as if it was a small asteroid had crushed on it and the middle was Izuku who was now trembling and his hand was broken and bruised, bleeding in the most part. He was also having a nosebleed and he could hear buzzing in his ears. It took some time to collect himself up and when he was thinking clearly now… He remembered All Might…
“Did… I…? Oh god… All Might!!”
Did he just… did he just kill him?! He doesn’t know the extent of the strength augmentation quirks. To do damage like this one, he didn’t expect it to be!
“When I said give it your all, this is not what I am expecting”
He turned around and sees the Pro-Hero unscratched. He would have probably dodged him but Izuku was glad that he was not harmed.
“All Might I’m so s-sorry! I didn’t even expect this would happen, I…!”
Is he in trouble?
Did he just overstay his welcome?
Does All Might see him now like a monster?
All of those fears were building inside his head, tears were building on his eyes but then those thoughts was thrown off the window when All Might just gave him a pat on the shoulder.
He looked up and sees the pro hero smile, reassuring him that he was not in trouble at all.
“It is understandable young Midoriya. Judging from that hit, it seems that you lack control over your quirk.” The blond put his thumbs up. “With enough training, you’ll get a hang of it in no time at all”
Izuku’s tears fell down and muttering his apologies a hundred times.
-
Shigaraki felt that mini earthquake and heard that loud explosion.
He was around the area near U.A. as he was gathering information regarding Izuku.
So it seems that Izuchan is still in the city, there was no one who saw him left yet which was good, then all of the sudden it happened and he eyed U.A to see smoke outside the school’s ground.
What the hell were they doing over there?
Notes:
Thank you so much for reading :)
I kinda have this AU around my head of OFA possessing Izuku but I'll just draft it off for now
Hope you all have an awesome day
Chapter 9: Explosive Blond
Summary:
Izuku meets the class
Chapter Text
The only thing that Izuku was right now was a nervous wreck and also nauseated.
He was now with the Pro Hero Recovery Girl who was treating his little arm injury on the little test trial. Well more like showing off his quirk than a test trial. Which deep inside, he did regret showing off…
There were no broken bones at least and his self healing already healed the minor bruise on his knuckles. Sure there was still bruise on the arm, maybe because of the muscle strain from pushing some of his strength augmentation quirk on it. The muscle enhancement one was not enough sadly but that was okay, at least his arm wasn’t blown off in a million pieces.
His arm is too sore at the moment. It still feels like it was burning. Too fresh and too sensitive to the touch. He could even feel the texture of the bandages on it and it feels so weird for him.
What really annoys him though was his pulsing head. It felt like his head was being knocked and crashed in the wall multiple times or even thrown into a blender and it was making him too nauseas and dizzy. He never did try to use multiple quirks at once. He only used around two quirks at once, but never combined them into one swing. Thankfully, Recovery girl gave him medicine to help with the pulsing headache.
Usually, he would use the quirks one at the time. Sure it drains of his stamina every time he changed from one quirk to another. He really should train his body or even build his endurance up, he really needs it if he was going to be a pro hero in the future.
His stamina drains overtime but it depends on what quirk he was using as well, the more physical involvement on the quirk is, such has muscle enhancement and strength augmentations, the more it drains his stamina faster. However, the mental kind of quirks such as Levitation or Sketchy Map for example doesn’t drain him as much. This was why he was more comfortable using them unlike the other physical quirks that he has.
Combining quirks were an unknown territory for Izuku. He really never do try to combine them in one go since he can’t really think of using them in the first place and when experiencing it at first hand, it hurt a lot. The feeling of his arm is being ripped into pieces like knives stabbing his skin, the feeling of his mind pulsing and as if it wants out of his skull as he tries to forcefully piece together the quirks.
He never knows how many quirks he could use to combine… he really should experiment on it further once this test was over... He could use the junkyard in the beach to start.
That got him thinking… He wondered if his father did have the same situation as him if he would combine his quirks…
His father…
It was a sudden thought that passed his mind… In all honesty for Izuku’s feelings, he really does miss his father a lot. He does wonder what he was doing… Was he still searching for him or has he forgotten about him? Did he change his way?
“How are you feeling Young Midoriya?”
He looked up and saw Yagi-san. He was wearing a yellow suit and a blue tie and on his hand was a book. It was a little book that has a title of ‘How to be a good teacher for dummies’
Strange, does Yagi-san also teach here as well just like All Might? All Might’s secretary and also a teacher, he must be a super busy man.
“I’m okay” he responded. “My head hurts a little but Recovery Girl already gave me something to ease it”
Yagi-san hummed. “How about your arm? I heard from All Might what happened, does it hurt still?”
Izuku moved his bandaged arm. “It still feels sore but I can still move it”
The blond nodded and gave him a pat on the shoulder. “That’s good to hear, just don’t hesitate to tell me if something is wrong all right?”
Izuku nodded in confirmation. “Good, now come along, Recovery Girl said that you can now go, now let’s go eat, I bought something for you that can help you recover some of your strength and energy” he signaled him to follow him. “You have a long day ahead of you, young Midoriya, you need all you can get”
Izuku smiled. He knew that today was going to be a long day. Especially with the surprise test that All Might and the Principal has cooked up with Aizawa-san’s students…
He wondered what kind of people are they…
He hoped that they were nice people.
After half an hour, they finished eating and Izuku feels a little refreshed and energized or at least recovered some of his energy. Yagi-san was kind enough to give him two packs of bento even though he couldn’t eat them all, he could barely eat all of it in one pack, he doesn’t want to have an upset stomach but it was delicious to say the least.
It took them fifteen minutes to arrive at the training grounds. On the way there, Yagi-san told him of his adventures and told him jokes. He also told him what kind of people he was going to meet in the training field.
Yagi-san told him that the students were interesting, that they are passionate of their goals to become pro- heroes in the future and each of them has a personality that he will find to be unique.
Izuku sees Aizawa-san and Eri from a far and behind them were the students. Everyone was looking at him oddly and stared at him that it feels like they were drilling holes on his forehead.
He now feels anxious. He was not used of people staring at him like that.
He feels he was being judge.
Yagi-san gave him a pat on the back. “I know that you’re nervous young Midoriya” he turned to the blond and he saw a bright and encouraging smile… just like what his father…
-
“I’m scared! I don’t think I can do it!”
Little Izuku was six at the time. He was standing on a sofa, his legs were shaking and he was nervous.
“What if I can’t fly?!”
His father was in front of him, his arms wide open and he was smiling, giving him reassurance. “You can do it son, I’m here to catch you”
-
Izuku was in front of Aizawa’s class. They were wearing what seems to be their Hero uniform which was super cool, he wondered if he could also have a hero uniform someday.
Everyone looked at him questionably. Curious even. There were two people that caught his eye though. There’s the ashy blond one who was giving him a look like he was going to kill him, while the other one who has a unique hairstyle that it was the strangest thing he saw in his life, half red and half white, who was give him a serious look like he had done something wrong to him.
He wondered what kind of quirks they have.
“You’re late” Aizawa looked at him with the most annoying look on his eyes and Yagi-san was giving him a ‘go ahead and go to them’ look. Izuku walked forward and went beside Aizawa. Eri was looking at him worryingly, probably looking at the bandaged arm of his.
He turned around to see if Yagi-san was still there but he seemed to just disappear which was odd.
“Everyone, I would like you to meet Midoriya Izuku”
Izuku looked at the class again and swallowed his anxiety. Everyone in the class was muttering and it took for him to gather all of his courage to respond.
“H-hi-! I’m Izuku… i-it’s a p-pleasure to meet you all!” he bowed immediately but it didn’t help his aching head. He can feel something dripping on his nose and when he looked at the floor there was blood.
Great, he had a nosebleed again. Great way to start your first impression to the class.
He turned to the side and saw Aizawa giving him a handkerchief and Izuku looked at it for a while and took it, he muttered a thank you and an apology to Aizawa and he just gave him a nod.
Aizawa coughed and give everyone a serious look. “He is a special guest for your training for today and I hope that you will treat him well”
Whispered murmurs in the class started.
“A special guest?”
“What kind of quirk do you think he has?”
“He doesn’t look okay… is he okay?”
“What do you think happened to his arm?”
Aizawa stared and sighed. He then turned to Izuku.
“You better behave Midoriya, can you manage yourself just fine?”
“Yes sensei!” Izuku respond rather quickly.
“Good, now I have to find All Might so we can start this test”
When Aizawa left them for a little while, probably calling for All Might because he was suppose to be here. He was left alone with the class and he was approached by two people. One was a girl and she has brown eyes and brown hair a tint of blush on the face. Her Hero costume looked like one of those hero costumes he saw on comics he once one had, like those tight suits, though her design is more futuristic and sci-fi? While the other one was a boy that has blue hair and glasses and his hero costume looked familiar… like he though he saw that design before and he just couldn’t pin point where.
“Hello, I’m Iida Tenya, it’s a pleasure to meet you Midoriya-san”
“I’m Uraraka Ochako, I hope we can be friends”
Friends…
“T-Thank you for having me Iida-san… Uraraka-san…!” he gave them a small and shy smile.
“If I may ask Midoriya-san, why are you are not in your student uniform?”
“Oh… well… I don’t really go here? I just happened to be… ahh… invited? Yes! Invited… b-by All Might…”
Iida looked at him, curious.
“Invited?” Uraraka ask.
That conversation was cut off when All Might and Aizawa-san arrived.
“All right everyone, listen closely!” All Might’s booming voice resonated.
“In this exercise, you will have to learn how to apprehend your enemy using teamwork and quick thinking”
“Villains have a variety of quirks that you don’t know about and most of them can be dangerous to face if faced alone. That is the reason why you always work with teams in every Hero Agency that you will go through”
All Might signaled Izuku to get closer and so he did.
“Young Midoriya here will be a part of this exercise”
“When this test start, you will have to find him and apprehend him within the thirty minute mark”
Then he pointed at the two jails like cases.
“But here is the twist. You need to bring him here for you to be able to pass this exercise. This is also the case for young Midoriya. If he happened to apprehend one of you and bring you inside this jail, you will not partake of this exercise”
“These jails like boxes are positioned at any points of the map”
“Is there any questions?”
No one in the class raised their hands. It was an easy enough rule.
“Since there are no questions” All might turned to him. “Young Midoriya, you go ahead and hide” he then heard him say but in a whisper kind of voice that no one will hear him other than him. “I wish you luck, young Midoriya and do your best”
He looked at All Might in the eyes and nodded.
He will do his very best, he won’t let All Might be disappointed.
-
He was at least given ten minutes to hide, which was enough time for him. He has done this a lot of times already and the technique was you always have to be on the move. Always stick to the dark and alleyways and you should be fine.
He doesn’t know how much time has already passed and that made him a little nervous.
What kind of quirks was he going to confront?
Dangerous?
Destructive?
He thinks of his possible ways he could at least run the timer down. He could have hid indoors but that would only restrict his movement. An indoor fight would lead a lot of unnecessary damages and if it was a real life situation, he could have harmed an innocent civilian if the building became a battlefield.
He stopped at the nearby alleyway and hiding behind a garbage shoot. He took in some long deep breathes.
He could rest for now and just monitor his surroundings. After all he needs to save his energy if there will be confrontations later on.
He closed his eyes and put his fingers on the floor as he used his quirk ‘Sketchy Map’
A good thing about this quirk was making a blueprint of the surrounding area and also what was inside the buildings, he could also see footprints or any moving object for that matter.
“FUCKING FOUND YOU!”
Izuku’s head snap up and saw the ashy blond teen flying towards him, a toothy grin on his face.
“DON’T YOU DARE RUN AWAY AND FACE ME!”
A large explosion was heard.
-
“Don’t let fear cloud your way of thinking”
“I believe in you, son. You can do it”
Chapter 10: Headache
Summary:
A massive headache is on its way

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)
Chapter Text
Izuku was amazed.
Well more amazed and terrified at the same time.
He didn’t expect for to someone found him first and this someone has a terrifying quirk to boot. A flashy quirk of mass destruction.
Looking at the blonds’ grin upon impact was terrifying that he remembers that same grin on some of the comic books he has read before. A villain’s grin. How they ended up in enrolling in U.A and become a hero was a wonder.
The blast of the explosion sent him flying and he hit a wall on impact and it hurt a lot that what Izuku was expecting, his ears were ringing and his headache was not helping this at all. Thick dust cloud covered the alleyway fast. Great, he doesn’t have any vision of his attacker and he just couldn’t hear from all the ringing in his ears.
He gripped his head as he tried to steady himself. He used the wall of the building to lean on and use his free hand to use ‘Sketchy Map’ to see if the attacker was near him or anywhere near him.
He could see a figure on his mind’s eye. He was standing a few meters away from him and seemed to look around furiously.
“Come out and let’s get this over quickly!” the blond shouted and he could hear the glee on his tone as if he already won this little test.
Izuku tried to move away so slowly, trying not to make a sound. The blond shouted some more taunts. Taunting him as a coward. As if on cue, the cloud settled in and he saw the blond in his full glory, eyeing him as a predator as to his prey; His hand full of sparks and a grin that could match his predatory flare. Izuku paled as the he charged at him fast without hesitation, ready for another blow of explosions. Red eyes looking at him in the eye, smirk ever so growing.
In Izuku’s panic, he took a deep breath and a few more inches till impact. He released a fiery breath towards the blond, hitting him directly.
The Quirk ‘Fire breathing’ was useful when it was to keep him and Eri warm on winter nights but he didn’t expect to use it on a person before and never wanted to use it in the first place but on his sheer panic, he done so and he didn’t like the feeling of it.
The explosive blond covered his face to protect himself from the fire. He was shouting profanities and curses at him but Izuku didn’t care about that, Tomu-nii was much worse than his curses.
When he heard a shout of pain from the blond and he could see some burning marks on his skin as well. Seeing this, Izuku closed his mouth trying not to hurt him even further. Fire like spit drooled down his lips and as much as he wanted to wipe it away, he just take it in mind that that would caught fire on his clothes so he didn’t bother to wipe it away for now.
The blond gritted his teeth as he hissed at the burning pain on his arms. ‘That would leave a nasty mark if not treated well’ Izuku thought.
Red eyes looked like he wanted to murder him in the spot and he charged again but this time using the explosion as a speed boost and to Izuku’s guess, he could maneuver around easily as well.
This blond was indeed dangerous and more like a monster in Izuku’s opinion and it was amazing and scary to think people like him exist, he needs to form a plan quickly to at least put him out of commission. He was yet to meet all of Aizawa-san’s students.
This was bad. With all the explosions, he bet that everyone in the class already knows his location and everyone might coming to him sooner.
Upon impact another explosion was made and thankfully he dodged to the side and used ‘Levitation’ to at least catch himself from hitting the floor hard. He looked up to see and he could see the blond’s arm was in the building’s wall, trying to pull it out. He was cursing aloud.
This was his chance. He put his legs together, letting his ‘Muscle enhancement and Super-jump’ quirk active. It was his time to charge at the blond at full speed and kick his back hard and apparently knocking the blond unconscious.
“I’m sorry” Izuku apologized, hoping that he didn’t break any bones.
Laying there unconscious, Izuku could finally breathe in a sigh of relief for now. He could bring the blond on one of the jail like cases but he doesn’t know where they are and it would be a risk if he would move the explosive blond around especially not knowing that if he has broken a bone and then there’s the burn on his arms that he inflicted upon him.
He stared at it and finally decides to rip a part of the blonds’ shirt and wrapped it on the burned area, he doesn’t want it to get infected… wounds with infection was hard to deal with and he doesn’t want that to happen to him. When he wrapped the cloth around the wounded area, he then proceeds to move the body off the rubble and lay him straight on the floor.
That takes care of that.
He braced himself as he used ‘Super jump’ to get away as much as possible.
-
He jumped from building to building. The cool wind was comforting and it gets away his worries never really bothered him that his energy was depleting.
Then all of the sudden a pillar of ice stopped him on his tracks and he smack himself face first on the pillar. It then enveloped around him like a blanket and caught him and immobilized. COLD. That was what Izuku’s mind registered.
He looked down to see the half and half color haired and he was staring at him with coldness in his eyes.
He then looked at the side to see the jail cage… and it was floating? Besides the cage was Uraraka-san and also Iida-san.
“Sorry for the cold shoulder, buddy” he heard someone said and when he turned to his side. He saw someone with a masking tape like mask and he was using his tape on his elbow like rope to cling on the ice like pillar. “It’s a surprise that you happen to knock Bakugou out of commission like that” he said and wrapped the tape around his body in the block of ice. “I-it was a lucky s-shot” Izuku shivered a responds.
How did they know that immediately? Did they have communicators?
The mask one chuckled. “Still, even if it is a lucky shot, knocking him down like that was pretty amazing, you got skills”
Izuku stared at him in disbelieve. It was not true that he didn’t have the skills. He was just lucky and took advantage of the situation given to him.
“Objective is secured, Mina you better get here fast and melt the ice” the one with the mask said.
He could hear a confirmation on the radio inside the mask.
He then turned to him. “At least you’ve done your best, Midoriya-kun. This exercise was kind of unfair… like you versus the class it’s like one against the world” he shrugged then gave him a pat on the shoulder. “After this exercise, why not join us for lunch? My treat”
Izuku smiled a bit. “T-thank you for the kind offer… I-I would love that b-but… p-please do not underestimate me, I-it’s not over yet” he said and took a deep breath, holding it down and released a big blast of fire aiming below. The mask one withdrew back trying his best not to be in range of the fire. The heat was burning the tape around him and the ice that was restraining him was slowly but surely melting.
The half and half haired boy shielded himself since he was near the pillar with the ice shield which was at least good.
He was free from the ice and the tape has completely burned away, instead of falling to the ground, he used ‘Levitation’ and just float from where he stand.
Everyone was staring at him in shock.
“This can’t be…”
“How can that be even possible…”
“There’s no way he can have multiple quirks!”
Izuku shook his head and ignored their whispers.
He looked at the jail like cage and rubbed his head trying to see if he could still be conscious when he will use it. Maybe he could use that quirk… It would give him a huge migraine but even if that would at least take some of them down or put in the jail like cage, it might work... maybe…
He opened his eyes. It was a risky move but it’s the only quirk that he could manage to think of against group of people. He just needs to work fast.
He saw multiple spears like ice headed towards him and Izuku floated to the side and side, trying to dodge. He received a few scratches here and there from his arms and legs. His reaction time was so slow but the half and half haired guy was fast and was not hesitating. He was trying to pin him and corner him and he saw another attack on the other side, the tape guy was trying to capture him with the tape and they were fast. He used his fire breath to melt the bombarded ice spears and the tape.
He felt pain in his head.
‘Not now!’ he mumbled.
Iida was on the move, and he just happened to run on a building with high speed, trying to reach him as he jump off and successfully grabbed his body.
The extra weight caught Izuku off guard and he was swaying back and forth, dropping so slowly to the ground.
He had to do it…! It’s now or never…!
He braced himself for a massive migraine.
He felt a nosebleed dripping down. His eyes wide open. Everyone around him including Iida-san who let go of him dropped as the gravity around him intensified.
“What the…!”
“I can’t move!!”
“Tsk…!”
He has increased the gravity pull around the small area and excluding him but it was too much for his mind to handle. ‘Gravity Pull’ was a gift from his father a long time when it was his sixth birthday. It said that he will use it in case of emergencies because of the strain that happens to accompany it but it is a powerful quirk that he could use to protect himself one day his father told him.
This quirk allows him to control gravity around him in a few meters and those who is caught on the area will feel the intense gravity pull.
He holds his head and he was getting light headed and an intense migraine. Blood dripping down his nose and his brain felt like being pricked by a million needles.
He needs to put them on the jail like cell quickly.
He used one of his strength augmentation to carry Iida to the cell and all of the sudden he felt something on the back of his mind.
His field of vision turned to black. He felt like his brain just tore himself apart and it was painful. He held his head with both of his hand. His eyes glowing in toxic green and blood was dripping down his nose intensified.
Pain.
PAIN.
“MAKE IT STOP!!!” Izuku shouted and the gravity around them intensified even more.
His brain was going haywire. He used too many quirks and the mental stress was through the roof.
With the use of Levitation, Strength Augmentation and Gravity Pull in one go. It was too much… Too much…!!
He screamed his lungs out. He can’t hear anything aside from his screams and static white noise.
He doesn’t know how long he was screaming. In a minute he felt like he was screaming in hours
Then silence
It was quiet…
His mind was quiet…
No pain…
No white noise…
Just silence…
His eyes rolled under and he was knocked unconscious.
-
To say the least, Shigaraki was pissed.
He was super pissed that he happened to punch a wall so many times that his knuckles started to bleed.
One of his informants told him a rumor.
‘I heard that U.A was adopting a kid and rumor has it he has multiple quirks, imagine that!’
Shigaraki gritted his teeth. If the rumor is true that means his little brother was at the hands of the heroes.
It was bad.
He had to tell Sensei the bad news…
Notes:
im really slow when it comes to writing... though I'm working on a comic that has All for one and One for All so expect the updates really really slow
