Summary:

I'm sorry. Just realised I missed this chapter

Chapter Text

Spider-man Narrating/Breaking the 4th Wall
Text/Writing
------------------------------------------------------------------
"Now I don't know about you, but I am sick and tired of seeing that wall-crawling menace ruining our city's infrastructure! The amount of disrespect he has shown towards public property is absolutely infuriat- BZZT!!"

Spider-man groaned as he picked himself up from the hole he made in the giant screen. He seriously didn't want his new suit to be destroyed so soon. (Spectacular Spider-man suit) The fact that this was his last week of summer vacation also didn't help his mood.

"I swear to god, where is a pro when you need one? Oh SHIT!!" Listening to his senses Spider-man jumped out of the shattered screen, barely avoiding the sonic scream that triggered an explosion that completely enveloped the screen

"Damn, that could've hurt. Sorry about that picklepuss!"

Ok, I think a recap is in order. The last time you guys saw me, I was leaving the graveyard to handle a villain that was attacking. Well, turned out that said villain is a mutated weapon's dealer.

Spider-man fired a web and swung towards his opponent. "Hey, Toomes! Did you do something to your hair? You look different!"

The mutated Vulture (Ultimate Spider-man cartoon design) opened his mouth to scream only to get it sealed shut by a glob of webbing that wrapped around his back.

Spider-man wagged his finger as he swung higher into the air and shouted, "Ah, Ah. Indoor voices please."

Finally reaching the necessary altitude, Spider-man flipped backwards and did an uppercut kick, knocking the giant bird back. After a bit of falling, he regained his composure. Flapping his new wings to keep steady, Vulture used his talons to claw at the webbing that covered his beak. He was beginning to make progress when he suddenly felt a fist connect with his face, sending him flying into a building, denting the concrete. Spider-man clung to the wall opposite the Vulture and slightly higher.

"You're not getting out of there so easily buddy. You're not the only one who got some upgrades." The mutated bird was about to fly at Spider-man, but the arachnid vigilante was faster. He launched himself off the building he was clinging to and fired two lines of webbing, both of them clinging next to Vulture's sides. Using them as a slingshot, Spider-man launched himself like a rocket.

The impact not only shoved the two of them through the concrete and into the building but also managed to tear the webbing keeping Vulture's beak shut. The two of them landed in a stereotypical office space. All the workers began running out of their respective cubicles in a panic as Spider-man and Vulture wrestled on the floor.

"Seriously Toomes! What happened to you? I haven't seen anything like this since the Instant Villains over in Naruhata." Spider-man demanded as he tried to keep Vulture pinned to the ground.

Vulture didn't answer, simply screaming Spider-man, sending him into the ceiling. Like a pancake, Spider-man peeled off the ceiling. Before he fit the ground, Vulture shot forward and grabbed Spidey by the neck. Using his body as a human shield, Vulture through a wind, shattered glass flying into the street.

"Hey! This terrible flight service. I'm not going to fly with this plane brand again!"

Spider-man fired a glob of webbing out of his web-shooter, blinding Vulture. This caused the giant bird to drop the vigilante. It was through sheer chance that the vigilante fell into a tipped over, torn open Oscorp truck that the villain was previously attacking.

Spider-man began to pick himself up, muttering to himself, "Ow, ow. Double ow. That's going to leave a mark."

It was only now that Spidey notice what was in the truck. No weapons or raw materials, but spiders. The cages were made of bulletproof glass, each containing its own spider. Spiders that he recognised. The spiders were on display on the field trip when he got his powers.

The memories of that day flashed in his eyes. He remembered a red and blue spider bitting the wrist of a then powerless Peter Parker. He remembered knocking it towards a black-haired Korean girl from a different school who stepped on the valuable pest in shock.

"Why the hell are they moving these?" Spider-man questioned as he placed his hand on one of the containers. The spider it held seemed to have reacted to him, jumping towards his palm.

Spider-Sense

Looking up towards the hole he had come through, Spidey saw Vulture peering down at him. Spider-man raised his finger as an owner would to a dog or a parent to a child, and said, "Don't you dare."

The vulture didn't answer and simply opened his mouth, and let out a shriek. Trapped in a metal container, all Spider-man could do was drop to his knees and cover his ears. He could feel a migraine coming, his eardrums ringing like crazy and spider-sense screaming at him to jump in every direction at once. All the spiders were also jumping around in their respective cages as if they were a bouncy ball.

Right as Spider-man was beginning to think that the sound was going to turn his brain to mush, it stopped.

Looking up and taking his hands off his ears, Spider-man didn't expect to see who he did.

"Hey, Daredevil didn't think you would show yourself in daylight."

Daredevil smirked as he lowered his hand to his pupil and said, "Last time you fought him you almost bled to death in a dumpster. I wouldn't be a very good mentor if I let that happen again."

Spider-man took it and said, "Yeah, that probably wouldn't help your already terrible public image. Glad you're here."

Daredevil pulled Spider-man out of the truck and the two of them stood together, facing Vulture who was now picking himself back up.

"So what's the plan?" Daredevil asked as got a good grip on his billy clubs.

Spidey's lenses narrowed as he got into a crouching position and answered, "The pro heroes should be arriving soon. The ones in the immediate area were manhandled by this guy, so we should expect someone from the Top Twenties."

"So the plan is to keep him occupied. I can do that."

We see a chibi version of Spidey and Daredevil attacking chibi Vulture, the three of them in a cartoonish dust cloud hiding the fight. Suddenly, a chibi All Might fell out of the sky wearing an animal control uniform. The three fighters froze and stared at him. He flashed a giant gin before using a large net to catch the Vulture with a single swing.

Spidey shook his head

That was weird. Probably just a feature that the author forgot to add earlier to the story.

"Let's do this!" Spider-man shouted as he jumped forward and used the edge of the tipped-over truck as a launchpad. He flew like a ballistic missile at his enemy, grabbing Vulture by his head before he even had the chance to properly recover and throwing him into the air.

He then caught Daredevil's billy club which was flying towards him with a cable attached to the other end. He pulled it in such a way that Daredevil, who was holding onto the billy club on the other end of the cable was launched after Vulture.

Daredevil tackled Vulture and shoved him into the ground, tearing up the pavement slightly. He started to continuously punch him, not wanting him to recover. However, all it took was one scream from the bird to launch Daredevil away.

Vulture picked himself up and jumped into the air, attempting to fly away. Spider-man wasn't going to let him do that. He fired webbing that caught Vulture's talons and was dragged behind him.

"This seriously starting to get old!" Spider-man exclaimed while being dragged through the air, with Daredevil running after them.

Meanwhile, some of the civilians that had stayed to watch the action were, well, doing just that.

"No way, is that Daredevil?"

"Didn't think he came out during the day."

"I wonder what his quirk is?"

"The heroes better show up soon if they want to catch them."
