Chapter Text
Izuku stumbled into the warehouse district one heel broken the other shoe completely gone. She grabbed at her head wincing it was getting dark outside. Getting here she’d been jumped by a few villains but she couldn’t remember what happened. Did she kill them or sprint away? She screamed in frustration as her hands went to her stomach. “Why…I had been so careful…I can’t stop him because of you!” She growled before tearing up leaning against a brick wall. She cried and rubbed her stomach. “I’m sorry little one…but you can’t…you won’t be safe. He’ll find us…and I wont be able to do anything.” She said and whimpered. “How can I think of getting rid of you? You’re just…which one. I wonder. Little Kacchans or Kiris?” She said with a small smile she stopped hearing footsteps. “GO AWAY!” She knew she wasn’t in a good state of mind and she didn’t want to hurt anyone.
“Izuku?” Her eyes widened. ‘Not again…not now!’
“Get out of my head, Tenko! Stop haunting me. It’s not real. You aren’t really here…aren’t here…” She said starting to stumble as she tried to get away. Tenko caught her before she fell and sighed.
“Took you years to come back to me, but don’t worry, Izuku. It’s going to be okay. I’ve been wanting to talk to you for a long time…” Tenko looked down at her sadly.
“Fuck you Tenko…” She whimpered. He picked her up and gently carried her through the mazes of buildings before they came to a docked ship that was under repair. “No…you…”
“Its not sailable just relax. I’m taking you to a doctor. Your foot it’s badly cut and I just want to talk…”
“Liar…I can’t trust…anything you…s…” Izuku said before burying her face in his chest. Tenko frowned as she started to cry.
“Izuku…it’s going to be okay…” He said softly resting his chin on her head.
“No…you’ve been in my head making me go crazy. Making me see you…saying creepy shit! I hate you!”
“I know…you do. I just want to talk and get you taken care of. I can’t get into people’s minds like that Izuku.” He said and made his way into the bowels of the ship. He set her down on a cot and a man in a lab coat walked over to her. The doctor started to tend to her foot and paused.
“Mrs…Sh…Kirishima…are you perhaps, pregnant?” Izuku frowned and looked away.
“Yes…” Izuku said glancing at Tenko when she finally responded.
“Its okay, Izuku…I…well. I wouldn’t do anything to harm you or your baby. The truth is that, I’m dying. I’m slowly decaying away and I wanted to talk to you one last time. If you…if we…”
“I don’t trust you.” She said and blinked as he took off his gloves. He whimpered loudly as parts of his fingers cracked off. His ring fingers were completely gone. “Tenko…” She said her voice filling with concern sitting up slightly. The doctor helped put the gloves back on looking between the two.
“These slow the effects but he will die.” The doctor said and washed up before tending to Izuku’s foot again. “He’s been trying to get to you for days…so he could talk with you. He’s got a month left at best…”
Izuku looked away taking a shakey breath before crying into her arm. “Then just die.” Tenko hung his head and didn’t say anything. He just sat at her bedside watching her.
Once the doctor finished Tenko sat next to her on the bed with his back to her. “I am so proud of you.” She tensed up frowning.
“I don’t care what you have to say.”
“Let me please…let me finish…” Izuku frowned but didn’t say anything more. “I am proud that despite becoming a hero you have done everything to make things better for everyone…I’m so happy with all that you have changed and accomplished. The kids look so happy and healthy. I haven’t interacted with them just seen the paparazzi pictures of them.” He added hastily as she growled at him and he took a deep breath. “Yoichi…he has my quirk doesn’t he? The gloves…”
Izuku bit her lip but relented. They were his children as well. “He does…he can turn it off though, but it’s not perfect. So he wears special gloves as a preventative measure.” Tenko smiled looking up at the ceiling. “So, where is the rest of the liberation?”
“I…I killed them. Once I saw the changes you were making…I tried to get them to back off, disband…they tried to revolt and kill you. So I ended them…every last one. This doctor is quirkless and found me on the street two years ago. I was struggling wanting to go see you but I didn’t want to get in your way till I saw you on TV three days ago. I could see you weren’t doing well and I knew I had to talk to you.”
“Why…why do you need to talk to me?”
“I have a selfish favor to ask. For one and two I want to help you. I know what will help as well.”
“Of course you’re nothing but a selfish bastard…”
“I know and I’m sorry.” He said gently caressing her cheek. Izuku flinched away and he smiled sadly. “I want to meet our children and then…I want you to…to kill me.” Izuku paused blinking.
“Kill you?”
“Yes. Its what I deserve.”
Izuku swallowed hard but turned away from him. “I need to…why do you want to die? In the past you fought so hard for me and now you just want to give up?”
“Are you upset by that?”
“No…yes? I don’t know…I have feelings for you still and the brainwashing that you forced me into…I had to be put into a facility…when I came back out my kids were nervous to be around me…me their mother! You’ve taken so much from me but I still think about you. The good times mostly but then the bad come and I’m filled with guilt! I won’t ask for help. I don’t want to be locked away again because of you. You ruin everything that you touch…apparently even yourself.”
Tenko watched her and laid down with her holding her close. “Then end me.”
Izuku stared at the wall trembling before sighing. “Okay…I’ll let you see the little ones. Then after that we’ll finally end this.”
Tenko hugged her. “Thank you. Thank you so much.” Izuku pulled away from him.
“Don’t do that…” Izuku sighed and closed her eyes. “I’ll have to get Katsuki and Eijiro out of the house. They won’t let you near the little ones. I’ll have to cause a little chaos…is Kurogiri still around?”
“No…he’s gone too. I said every last one. Toga…and Dabi are the only ones left alive.”
“If you hurt them I would have killed you…” Tenko nodded.
“I didn’t want to hurt them…they took care of you. Love you. I couldn’t take that away too. So, what’s your plan?”
Izuku sighed. “I’ll tell you in the morning. I’m too exhausted…” Tenko nodded and started to get up. He paused seeing her grab his arm. “Lay down…one last time.”
“Okay…” He said laying down and gently pulled her close. She closed her eyes before falling asleep. He couldn’t sleep. It was like a dream come true. Her being in his arms again. He whimpered feeling more of himself crumble and buried his nose in her hair.
In the morning Izuku was up first and looked at Tenko. “Lets get this over with. Just go to this address stay hidden and I’ll meet you there leave the rest to me.” Izuku pulled away and putting on new shoes the doctor provided. “Hurry.” She said and slowly made her way back to the main city. Letting herself be seen by heroes she carefully dodged them and heard the all too familiar explosions before she used black whip to get her home.
“Eijiro, left five minutes ago…” Tenko said and Izuku nodded.
“Then we’ll have ten at most. Suma and Yuri are here but they won’t interfere…” Izuku said and walked into the house.
Nana looked up and smiled. “Mommy!” She giggled and ran over before stopping a foot away seeing Tenko.
Izuku knelt down and scooped her up. “Hello little one. This is an old acquaintance of Mommy. His name is Tenko can you say hi?”
“Hi…”
“Izuku?” Suma asked frowning at seeing Tenko. “What is he doing here? Yuri, call the boys!”
“He wanted to meet them that’s all. It’s not what you think.”
Yuri paused walking in and frowned. “Izuku dear…how many times has he lied to you…hurt you?”
Izuku glared. “Its none of your business. If I want him to meet them he can.”
Yoichi ran in smiling. “Mommy are you feeling better?”
“A little bit…come here and say hi, this is Tenko.” Yoichi slowly walked over and looked at his gloved hands then to his own.
Tenko knelt down and swallowed. “Hello Yoichi…”
“Hello Tenko…” He said touched his gloved hands then looked at Izuku who teared up. “Not…Tenko…but daddy….” Yoichi asked.
Tenko swallowed but nodded. “I wanted to raise you I did…but I was a bad man…who didn’t deserve to raise you…I know it must be confus…” Tenko froze as Yoichi hugged him tight.
Izuku looked away setting Nana down. “We have the same eyes.” Nana said touching his face.
Toshi frowned staying by his grandmothers glaring. His red eyes staring down into Tenko's eyes freckle just starting to come in. “He’s bad…the plants say he’s evil.” Izuku sighed.
“He is, but he would never hurt you Toshi…” Before Toshi could respond the front door slammed open and Katsuki stormed in. Eijiro not far behind.
“Izuku! What the hell!?” Izuku used black whip and made a barrier. “IZUKU! DROP THE QUIRK NOW!”
“Times up, Tenko.” Izuku said softly and he nodded letting go of the two. “Mommy will be back soon.”
Yoichi frowned. “But what about da….Tenko?”
“I’m not coming back little ones. I just wanted to meet you.” Tenko said softly and took off his gloves handing them to Yoichi. “Use it to help people…you promise?”
“Mhmm! I’m going to be a hero.” Tenko smiled sadly before letting Izuku pull him out the back door.
“Izuku! Wait! Don’t go with him! We can talk about this!” Eijiro yelled. Izuku shut the door and didn’t look back.
Once they were in the backyard Izuku wrapped her arm around Tenko and went to the only place she could think of for Tenko to peacefully pass away. Dagobah beach. It took them twenty minutes to arrive.
Letting him go she sat down in the sand pulling her knees to her chest. Tenko paused before sitting next to her. “I’ve never brought anyone here before…”
“Here? The beach?”
“This beach…this is where my story to become a hero began. This very spot was covered in disgusting trash and was avoided at all costs by the public…but I spent ten months getting rid of all the trash. Now conservation groups keep up the work I started. It’s beautiful.”
“I never knew…”
“No…you just saw All Might, and his ideals. So you wanted to destroy me because I was his fan girl…wanting to live up to his legacy. You were right I guess that I was just mindlessly following him. The cycle would have just continued over and over…Then I got real experience in the real world. Terror that you would kill my classmates. Willing to sacrifice it all, and I wonder how things would have been had you taken me that day…if you had killed Kacchan. What our lives would have been like? If I stayed and didn’t leave you. So many what ifs…but things changed for the better…”
“Izuku…” Tenko whimpered and she looked over freezing seeing most of his arms were decayed.
Izuku teared up and sat behind him holding him. “I’m here.”
“End it…”
“No…” Izuku said trembling. “I’m going to let you suffer but I’m going to sit here with you. My Darling.” She said in a sugar sweet tone.
Tenko frowned but nodded letting out a loud whimper. “I’m sorry…I…I’m sorry.”
“You know you’re the one who put this darkness inside of me and it’s just sweet poetic justice.” She said and started to cry. “I…”
“Its okay I deserve it. Just hold me.” Izuku nodded and before she knew it she was just holding clothes. Sighing softly she folded the clothes and stared out at the sea. Knowing he was dead it brought peace but not in the way she wanted. Slowly getting up she headed to the hospital. Using her quirk as much as she had, she knew she probably lost the baby, and the Eijiro and Katsuki were going to be pissed.
Checking in she sat back in the bed staring at the wall. They ran some tests and she waited. She knew when Katsuki walked in and felt his glare. “I had to end it…my way. You wouldn’t have agreed. You…probably…” She grunted as he pulled her into a hug. “You forgive me too easily…”
“Oh no, I don’t forgive you dumbass! You can’t do this to us…you…you dumbass.” Izuku could feel his tears on her neck and snuggled into him.
Eijiro stayed by the door watching them sadly. “If you shut us out again…I’m done…”
Izuku swallowed hanging her head. “I…I know…I’m….”
“Mrs. Kirishima…oh your partners are here…wonderful. You’ll be happy to know you did not miscarry though you will need to be on bed rest for the next few weeks. She’s not under the effects of a quirk so she’s free to go home.” The doctor said softly.
Izuku pulled away from Katsuki and started to get dressed. “Izuku, where is Shigaraki?” Katsuki asked.
“His quirk started to attack his own body and the gloves he gave Yoichi stopped it from accelerating. So, we talked until he stopped.” Izuku said and slowly dressed. She held her stomach and looked at Eijiro.
“You lied to us. Kara told me about the birth control…month after month of disappointment and my tears…Katsuki's tears.”
“I couldn’t be vulnerable while he was still alive…you two wouldn’t understand…I…I’m going to go stay with mom…”
Katsuki frowned. “I understand Izuku…if you just would have…”
“I couldn’t have said no. Your little puppy dog eyes both of you…when you asked me if I would have your children. I wanted too then. I still do, but not so soon.”
“Stop running then. So we can talk…we’ll go to the family cabin with the kids. They’re confused…and hurt.” Eijiro said frowning.
“I need to see mom then I’ll meet you there.” Izuku said and frowned as Eijiro grabbed her arm. “I’m not going to disappear…”
“I can’t trust you.” Eijiro whined softly.
“Fuck you too Eiji…” She said ripping her arm free. “What are you gonna do if I don’t? I am tired of you two waiting till I explode or lose control. I can just walk away with the kids. One paternity test and I can get full custody. And my voluntary visit to a mental facility was sealed by the courts when I became an adult. I have private bank accounts that have been slowly filling with money. I could have left at any time but I fucking didn’t. I have contingencies for every situation just like Dad made sure we had.”
“Eiji…let’s all just cool off. If she wants to go see Midnight she can.” Katsuki said. “We’ll take a vacation just us and the kids. At the cabin…we can talk like adults. Go home Eiji and get us packed. I’ll talk with Izu okay…” Katsuki said and tried to kiss him but Eijiro frowned storming out of the room. Katsuki sighed sadly and went to Izuku handing her, her purse. “Want me to drive you?”
“Sure…” Izuku said softly. She followed him to the SUV and sat in the passenger seat curling up.
Katsuki held his hand out and she took it. “Do you feel better?”
“Yes…no…both?” Izuku said shaking. “I hate Tenko as much as I hate myself and now that he’s gone I feel free but that hate is still just festering. I’m going to go back to therapy…and I don’t think Eiji will ever forgive me. The kids…Toshi hates me for bringing Tenko around I’m sure but I think it helped Yoichi and Nana. I…I’m a horrible mother.”
“You aren’t a horrible mother. You had triplets and had everything stacked against you but you’re in the top three of the heroes. Took care of them mostly on your own. You aren’t yourself right now…and that’s okay. Like you said you want to go back to therapy that’s good.” Katsuki said and Izuku started to relax before loudly gasping.
“OH GOD! Did we leave Eiji behind?” Katsuki chuckled and shook his head.
“No, he texted me that he took a cab home…Izuku…I wouldn’t have left him.” She teared up letting go of his hand. “Its okay…he’s going to get the kid's things packed and meet us.” Izuku nodded holding her legs.
Once they pulled up to the house she got out of the vehicle before Katsuki even came to a full stop. She quickly went to the door knocking. Nemuri opened the door and barely stayed on her feet as Izuku’s buried her face in the older woman's chest. “Izuku…baby what’s going on. There was a BOLO out for you…talk to me.”
Katsuki sighed. “It would be best if we spoke inside Midnight…”
“Katsuki, how many times…it’s mom to you.” Katsuki blushed. “Hard to break a habit…”
“Come in…we’ll talk over tea.” Nemuri said kissing the top of Izuku’s head. Katsuki looked up as Aizawa and Mic pulled up to the house.
Eijiro arrived home and looked at his mothers who were talking about what legal actions they could take to make Izuku an unfit mother. He finished the pick up grocery order and glared at them. He was tired of it all. “Enough! We aren’t separating. Go home.” He grumbled and went to their room. Pulling out Izuku’s duffle first he started to packed their bags.
“Eiji dear…she’s not well. It’s…” Suma said following him into the room.
“Its not your fucking business. My birth father wanted to sue to have custody for me but you paid away the problem…I’m not going to separate my family. Izuku needs help, yes, but we just need to talk…” He said already feeling guilty for saying the shit his mothers had put in his head. He finished packing their bags then went to get the kids.
“Where do you think you’re going? You’re obviously leaving them…taking the kids right?” Suma asked.
“No, we’re going to the cabin. We need some much needed family time. The kids don’t have school next week. If you can’t be supportive then just go. I shouldn’t have listened to what you were saying and I don’t want the separation.” Eijiro said.
“Don’t get us wrong love, we love Izuku but we think this is what’s best for the kids!” Suma said sadly.
“They’ve already lost one parent…they aren’t losing another.” Eijiro said and then took the bags out to the car. Grabbing the kids hiking packs and sleeping bags he put them in as well then his and Kats.
“You’re making a huge mistake Eiji, my baby!” Yuri whined.
Eijiro frowned. “Keys…you have lost your privilege to come here.” He said frowning. Suma looked at Yuri then at Eijiro before taking her key and throwing it at his chest.
“I have never been so disappointed you’re just like your pathetic father!” Suma yelled grabbing her bag. Yuri frowned taking her key and dropping it in his hand.
Eijiro folded his arms over his chest watching them leave. He teared up putting the keys in the junk drawer. Taking a deep breath he wiped his face and started to get the kids up from their naps. Nana was always the easiest but Yoichi was the worst at waking up. So he carried him and led the other two to the car.
Toshi frowned rubbing his eyes. “Daddy? Where are we going?”
“We’re going camping.”
Nana giggled. “Yay! To the cabin?”
“Yes we are.” He said smiling getting them buckled into their car seats. He drove to the grocery store and picked up their groceries. Getting the kids some fast food and headed out on the long drive.
It was nearing dinner time and got out sighing. This was going to take forever by himself but he frowned seeing another car and music playing softly. He got out telling the kids to not make any noise and headed to the cabin. He peeked in the windows and sighed seeing Denki and Hitoshi. Then Shoto and Hanta. Touya stretched walking in after them. He opened the door loudly and Denki screamed jumping. “What the hell is going on?”
Hanta chuckled. “Katsuki said to get the cabin ready for your stay since you’d have your hands full with the kids!”
Shoto nodded smiling. “Han and I just got back from our cabin up the road. The six of us will be staying there.”
“Himi couldn’t come she’s out of the country and Keigo is sick.” Touya said with a small pout though it quickly went away picking up his and Hawks' little girl. She wasn’t exactly Touya's child, Fuyumi did surrogate for them, but he loved her little white wings and pure white hair. His little ice angel. He sat with her on the couch smiling happily.
Eijiro sighed. “A little heads up would have been nice.” He said sinking onto a couch and covered his face. “Thought someone broke in…” Denki sat by him hugging him.
“Well? Where’s the kids? I wanna hold my namesake.” Hitoshi said going to the door and saw the kids in the car. “Uncle Toshi is on the way.”
Shoto frowned. “You’re not hogging the kids.”
Hanta smirked using his tape to get him to the car first. “Uncle Tapeman wins!” He said pulling open the door.
Denki sat on Eijiro’s lap. “You three fought again.”
“How did you…”
“We’ve been besties since we were fifteen. I had to listen to you bitch and moan that you’d never be good enough to be with Izu or Kats. You look sad…”
“It wasn’t Kats and I this time…it was Izu…” Denki's eyes widened. “I know…I can’t talk about it. I need to talk with them first.”
“I understand. Just know you have the Kirisquad to back you up.”
“Ugh it just doesn’t have the same ring to it…” Eijiro grimaced.
“Well we don’t have a Bakugo in our group since you all went with your name and Deku hates the Dekusquad name ever since Ochako and her had the falling out because she was jealous and snapped.”
“Don’t remind me of that…third year was fucking awful. Izuku was able to come back for our last year. Once she did Ochako was obsessed trying to push her way in-between us and Izuku. She wouldn’t leave Izu alone trying to prove she was the bestest bestie. I thought for sure when Izuku told her to leave her alone that, that would be it but then Ochako tried to kill her.”
“I never liked her honestly.” Touya said smiling as his little one had fallen asleep.
“Honestly by our last year hardly anyone did. But hey, I hear the padded room she’s in is nice. Tenya’s family money paying for her to stay nice and cozy and Tsu does water aerobics with her on her off days. Does Izuku still talk to them?” Touya snorted.
“No…only work related things…from what Izu says.” Eijiro said.
“Good, they chose the wrong friend…” Denki said smirking.
“Denki…” Eijiro said with a sigh.
“What, it’s not my fault she snapped and went on a rampage that got her labeled as criminally insane…she made Izuku so terrified she wouldn’t even let you two in her room or the kids…only Dadzawa and Midnight.”
“Daddy what does crimnalli insane mean?” Nana asked. Hanta bit his lip looking from the adults to Nana mouthing ‘sorry.’
“Your uncle Denki will tell you I need to get our things.” Kiri cooed and glared at Denki pointedly. ‘fix it.’ He mouthed and he went outside grabbing the groceries Izuku and Katsuki pulled up. He dropped the bags and went to Izuku’s door opening it.
Izuku paused looking at him unsure of what he was going to say and gasped as he started to cry. “Ei?”
“I’m sorry I didn’t mean what I said at the hospital. I was so angry and upset…please forgive me. Please!” Izuku shook her head hugging him.
“Nothing to forgive. Just don’t leave me and Kacchan...but the kids are they mad?”
“Toshi is upset but he’s not mad. Just come in. Our friends are here.” Izuku bit her lip. “Tenya and Tsu aren’t here.” Izuku nodded relieved and wrapped her legs around him.
“Carry me I’m tired…” Eijiro chuckled and held her. Katsuki smiled watching them.
“I’ll get the bags…you two go kiss and make up.” Katsuki said heading to the groceries left on the ground. He headed inside and started to yell at them for giving his kids candy before dinner.
“We need to talk just us two…” Eijiro said as he walked going to the pond they had in the backyard. He sat down and held Izuku.
“I’m sorry I’m so difficult and do things alone. I just…hard to trust but I think I can start trying…”
“No baby…Not about that…”
Izuku pulled back to look at him. “About what love?”
“I have a mission coming up…”
“You want to talk work?” She asked confused and clenched her fists in his shirt.
“I could be gone for three years…” Izuku froze.
“When would you leave?” Izuku asked tearing up.
“When the kids go back to school…” Izuku teared up but nodded hugging him tight. “Katsuki already knows. I’ve asked the squad to help out as much as they can…Shoto bought the house next to ours…Katsuki is going to be so mad…” Izuku laughed through her tears. “Touya said he’d love to babysit and….”
“Its not enough time to make up for what happened…” She said sadly. “You’ll miss out on the baby…and naming it…everything.”
“I can’t turn down the mission…I tried. It’s not a no contact undercover mission. We can do face times and it won’t be so bad…” Izuku nodded and buried her face in his neck playing with his long hair. “Since Sho and the rest that are here they could probably watch the kids a bit…”
“Next you’re going to tell me you want a divorce…” Izuku said with a frown.
“Actually…”
“Stop it…” Izuku pulled back new tears threatening to fall.
“Not a divorce…renew our vows.” Eijiro said and Izuku flicked his forehead. “Don’t ever say that again…don’t joke about it…even if I left you two I would never want a divorce…”
“I’m sorry.” Izuku sighed but nodded. They stayed like that the cool late spring air chilling Izuku a bit. She took a deep breath before breaking the comfortable silence.
“Eiji…when I was with Tenko…he said he wasn’t messing with my head but I heard the doctor who was helping him. Tenko and him thought I was sleeping. He said that he believed it was a quirk…do you think Suma…”
“No…she would never use that on you. Never. She only does it as a party trick. She wouldn’t hurt people.” Izuku bit her lip and nodded.
“Then maybe I am crazy.” Eijiro frowned.
“When you’d have your experiences…with him in your head did it hurt right here.” Eijiro asked touching a spot on Izuku's temple. Izuku flinched pulling back with a whimper. “So she was behind this…she…was talking about me leaving you two and getting custody. They were acting insane…Izuku…I never thought.”
“You know what needs to be done…”
“I will handle it.” Eijiro said softly and pulled out his phone texting Fatgum then pulled Izuku's phone to record before calling Suma. He put his finger to his lips and Izuku nodded curious what her husband was up to.
“Eiji…I do not have the patience for another fight…”
“You were right…” Eijiro said softly.
“What..?”
“Izuku is unfit to be a mother…and Katsuki is taking her side…Izuku has prepped for this in case we split…momma how can we make sure I get the kids.”
“Well you know honey we can use my quirk. Just make her go even more crazy. Have her attack the kids in public then she’d be tarnished. I can start now.” Suma said smiling. Izuku covered her mouth as she saw visions of the kids slaughtered. “You know once I stop they can’t trace that my quirk had been used.”
Eijiro frowned watching Izuku try not to completely lose it. “So for the record. You’re saying you’ve used your quirk on Izuku…”
“Of course. I had to get you away from her. Honestly I was hoping when she found out she was pregnant she’d just get hit by a car and that would be the end of it.”
“Thanks mom, I’ll think about everything.” He said hanging up and stopped the recording. He pulled Izuku close sending the recording to all of their agencies with the information. Katsuki came out once he got the text and wrapped his arms around them both.
“I knew something was wrong with her…” Katsuki said.
“How would you know?” Eijiro asked obviously heartbroken.
“Take it from a kid with an abusive narcissistic mother…you just…need a few minutes with a person…and you know.” Katsuki said with a shrug.
Izuku frowned looking down at their laps. “Do you think Yuri knew? Knows?” Izuku had been especially close with the woman but Suma always kept her at arms length. Now she knew why.
“I have no idea…just let the pros handle it and we’ll just enjoy our family.”
“Come on you two dinner should be done…” Katsuki said. “We can talk more once the little ones are in bed and you can tell everyone the great news Izuku.”
Izuku smiled her hands going to her stomach. “Things are going to get better…I’m sorry I should have opened up and I love you both so much.” Eijiro stood up still holding Izuku.
“I love you too.”
“Me three I guess…leaving me out…” Katsuki said but smirked kissing their cheeks making them chuckle.
Izuku bit her lip looking at her phone. “Can you see, baby?”
Eijiro smiled. “Yeah I can see. Starting the ultrasound soon?”
“Just waiting on you.” Kara said smirking and started to look. “So twins for sure. Now hopefully they aren’t blocking their genders again. Perfect they aren’t hiding. Congratulations twin girls.” Izuku smiled happily.
“Told you it was going to be girls.” She said smiling. Katsuki kissed her forehead.
“I was betting on one of each.” Katsuki said and showed Eiji the monitor better.
“I can’t believe you’re this far along….ugh this mission isn’t even halfway done. I just want to come home…they don’t need me till the end if I’m being honest.”
“Its okay…everything is going great. Yuri is…doing better now that Suma isn’t using her quirk…”
Eijiro hung his head. “I should call her but…Suma was controlling her their whole marriage with her quirk…convincing her they’d be happier if they had a kid…she never really wanted me Izu…”
“She asks about you…every time she comes to visit the kids. But hey listen, we’ll send you the pictures of the ultrasounds, and tell Tamaki hi.” Izuku said trying to distract him.
“Of course. If you’ll tell Mirio hi from the both of us.”
“Of course, Ei…did you get the care package we sent ya? The kids have been asking if you got it.” Katsuki asked humming.
“Not yet but I’ll call when I do…shit I gotta go. Something is…” There was a loud explosion then the feed stopped. Izuku sat up panicking.
“Kacchan…! We gotta…”
“Hey…it’s Ei we’re taking about. He can take on my howitzer he can handle anything.” Katsuki said despite his worry.
“Izuku, you’ll need to keep your stress down or you’ll be on bed rest.” Kara said holding her hand. “I’ll reach out to hospitals in the areas he’s in and let you know if he’s been admitted or being looked at.”
Izuku took a deep breath before nodding. “Okay…okay. I want to go home now…can you call…”
“Shoto is calling the rest of our friends. I just sent emergency meeting our place. I’ll message Mirio too, just relax. I’ll text Dad and Mamanight to see if they can take the little ones overnight.”
Izuku chuckled under her breath focusing on that so she didn’t have a panic attack. “Still can’t just call her mom.”
“She agreed to the compromise…” Katsuki said as Kara helped Izuku dress. He started to text and Nemuri called saying she’d get the kids from school. Izuku paced slowly before wincing holding her stomach.
“Calm down Izuku…Katsuki she’ll need to be on bedrest…if she keeps it up I’ll have to sedate her.” Kara said and Katsuki went to her cupping her cheeks.
“I can’t lose him…we can’t what if the kids are his Kacchan…I can’t…”
“You need to calm down…or the babies…” Izuku nodded swallowing hard but slowly calmed down leaning into Katsuki.
“I wanna go home…” Katsuki nodded and thanked Kara before leading them out. Katsuki took her home where Shoto and Hitoshi were waiting. She immediately snuggled with them on the couch as Katsuki cooked them dinner. More of their friends showed up even Mirio. Izuku tried to stay positive showing off the ultrasound pictures but when Mirio knelt at her feet she started to cry. Himi rubbed her knees glaring at the blond for making Izuku cry.
“They’re going go be okay Izuku.” She nodded and tried to relax. They all froze as Mirio’s phone rang. He picked it up. “Tamaki…hey! What happened? Oh beans, good idea.”
“Okay, I’m on speaker right?”
“Yeah baby go ahead.”
“So, seven hours ago we were attacked by the villain group we were tracking. We apprehended all of them that attacked thanks to Eijiro and they’ve given up their leader. Eijiro protected us from the second blast. He’s okay. A few burns but he’s okay. They’re sending us home tomorrow.”
Izuku’s eyes widened and she grabbed the phone. “Tama…They’re sending you home all of you? Can I speak to Eiji? Please.”
“Izu…if I was at the hospital I would but I’m at the police station. He’s at General Pacific. I’ll get you the number so you can see if you can reach them one moment…”
Katsuki jumped as his phone rang and he struggled to get it out of his pocket. He answered it. “This is Bakugo…Eiji…hey.” Izuku ripped the phone from his hand.
“Baby? Are you okay? Tama said you were hurt.”
Eijiro smiled. “I’m just giving patchworks a run for his money.”
“Don’t call Touya that…Eri healed him and he looks just fine now.”
“The fuck he call me?” Touya asked glaring. Izuku waved him off.
“Don’t distract me, Eiji. You’re coming home?”
“Yeah. Tomorrow…if Katsuki could…I’ll let you know somehow…my phone got destroyed…but hey…I know back off. Sorry baby, but now I’ll be there for the birth and Katsuki will leave you alone cause he’ll be too busy bugging me because I forgot to put the toilet seat down and you fell in.” Izuku giggled and shook her head. “Don’t you laugh missy…”
“You can’t do that in the middle of the night. I’m half asleep…it’s been ten times…”
“Hey! Its not been that many times. Izuku Kirishima you stop laughing at me.” He smiled and listened to her laugh. “It’s good to hear you laugh. It’s a pretty sound.”
Izuku blushed and shook her head. “Stop flirting and come home…”
“I am baby…can I talk to Kats?”
“But…”
“I just need to go over some boring things…”
“Fine…here…he loves you more.” Izuku whined and a ‘no I don't’ could be heard making Izuku smile before leaning into Touya. Shoto had gotten up to get a box a tissues and Touya immediately took his spot. He gently rubbed her stomach making Izuku relax. When Katsuki got off the phone he smiled and kissed Izuku.
“Okay you extras. We’re having dinner then those who want can stay but Izuku should be in bed.”
“I’m resting…” Katsuki glared. “Fine Kacchan. You heard the party pooper.”
Touya snorted. “I can’t stay. I’m going into the office with Kei in the morning.”
“Me too but I should have left an hour ago. Aizawa is gonna be mad. Oh well.” Toga said and kissed Izuku before saying her goodbyes.
“Han and I can stay.” Shoto said smiling.
Momo smiled. “So can Kyo and I.”
Izuku nodded smiling at their friends. “Thank you all for everything.” She said and chatted happily until Katsuki picked her up. “I need to say…”
“No…bed rest time.” Katsuki said and Izuku pouted but once she was in bed she was out like a light.
Izuku whined softly feeling a rough hand caressing her cheek. “Wake up baby…”
“No want to.” She mumbled snuggling into her pregnancy pillow.
“But I’m finally home baby.” Izuku blinked confused and paused seeing red hair.
“Eiji? Eiji!” She yelled grabbing onto him. “When did you…you’re here. Finally you’re here.”
“We got in around six and Kats came and got me.” Izuku nodded pulling him into bed. “I love you. I missed your freckled cheeks.” He said nipping her right cheek.
“I missed you. All of you not just a part.” She growled a bit. Eijiro chuckled and nodded.
“I missed all of you but most important I’m not going anywhere.” He said softly kissing her knuckles. Izuku smiled and nodded.
“Kacchan…my back is cold.” She called out and Katsuki smiled climbing into bed with her. She finally relaxed. “Thank you…my loves…”
Swallowing Izuku looked back at her three oldest as they were being dropped off for the legacy testing for U.A. “Remember best manners. You be respectful of your teachers. If you don’t pass you’ll have to pass just like I did, daddy, and papa.”
Yoichi chuckled. “We know momma. You’ve said it so many times.”
“Why can’t we try out too momma?” The little blonde twin said and Izuku chuckled.
“Kira you’re only seven you’re not old enough to go to U.A. You and your sister can’t go. Hana, you’re quiet…” Katsuki said and she signed ‘tired.’ “I’m driving Hana…you need to say it out loud.”
“I’m tired and just want grandpa and uncle Toshi.” She said with a pout. Curly blonde hair with red eyes glared at him. He chuckled.
“There’s my little firecracker.”
Izuku smiled and looked at her phone. “Eiji how are the little cabooses?”
Eijiro glanced at the phone and smiled. “My twins are sleeping.” He said elated.
Izuku frowned. “Listen we talked about this. Just because those two are biologically yours…”
“I know. I just get excited.” Izuku rolled her eyes and looked at the little girl and boy. She had only had Katsuki’s set for six months before she got pregnant again. And as soon as it was safe after the last two were born she got her tubes tied. She was done having kids.
“The house is going to be so quiet without you three…” Izuku pouted. Which got a chorus of momma no from the back. She smiled and grabbed Katsuki’s hand.
“Well I for one can’t wait. You’ll be U.A.’s problem and once they see the last name and know who’s parents you are. I’ve bet four teachers will retire. Now just because Grandpa is the principal doesn’t mean he’s going to go easy on you. He’s going to expect more but have fun and work hard.”
Izuku smiled at Katsuki finally content. Everything was going well. She could almost believe it was a dream. She hoped it wasn’t. It was perfect and she couldn’t want anything more or less. She even had a dream of Tenko that morning. It was peaceful to say the least. He wasn’t going to hurt them anymore. When they pulled up to U.A. She watched her kids file out and helped get the youngest out holding their hands as they went to the observation room. She didn’t recognize any of the other parents watching but she was fine with that. Leaning into Eijiro and held Katsuki’s hand. She watched very proud of their children and the odds they had all overcome to get to this point.
