Randy still didn't really know what actually happened. One minute he was showing off in front of the students, and the next he was lying on the ground, surrounded by everyone who seemed worried and Howard crouching next to him.
"Ninja?"
Randy blinked a few times, trying to get rid of the hazy vision. Howard, seeing that he had gained his attention, focused on him again.
"Ninja! Hey, are you with me?"
He frowned, feeling his ears ringing.
"...Howard?" he spoke up and was surprised at how quiet his voice sounded. Howard breathed a sigh of relief and turned to face the staring students.
"Alright, you shoobs. There's nothing to look at, The Ninja just got a little tired, give him break, he's an 800-year-old guy! Go!"
The kids still murmured something under their breath, but Randy didn't pay attention to it. Instead, he tried to focus on his friend.
"Ninja?" Howard repeated, "Cunningham?" he added, when he was sure that no one would hear.
"Mhm...?"
He frowned slightly and hold up two fingers.
"How many fingers am I holding up?" He asked, and Randy felt like rolling his eyes.
"Two," he replied.
The boy nodded then snapped his fingers in front of Randy's eyes, causing him to blink rapidly. He scowled at him.
"Howard!"
"Okay you're fine," Howard decided, rolling his eyes. Randy rubbed his forehead.
"Howard, what happened?" he asked.
"You tell me! One minute you're putting on a show in front of all these clowns, and the next you're on the ground," He replied. Randy paused.
He...was?
"I fainted?"
"Yep."
Randy winced.
"Ugh, that’s so lame," he muttered. Howard smirked.
"Definitely. Really lame," he agreed. Ninja rolled his eyes.
"Haha. Very funny."
His boyfriend smirked a little wider.
"What actually happened? Do you have any idea why?" He asked after a while, more seriously. Randy thought about it.
"I haven't eaten anything since this morning. I drank a big coffee, remember? Then we went to school, I destroyed McFist's robot and destanked some sophomore at the same time and then started showing off. I was flying on adrenaline the whole time."
"Welp, it actually makes sense, but I told you to eat something, you dumbass," Howard replied in a teasing tone. Randy huffed. Weinerman shook his head.
"Can you get up?" He asked, to which the other boy nodded. When they got up, Howard looked around and, being sure they were alone, pulled Randy down by his scarf, pulled his mask up slightly and kissed him briefly.
"Get out of the suit and meet me at the main entrance," he added after the kiss, winked at him, turned on his heel and moved in the opposite direction, after a slight twist of his hips (he did this on purpose, he knew well how it worked on Randy).
Randy sighed happily. God, he was so gay for his best friend.
He shook his head, laughing at himself.
"Smoke bomb!"
