In which Sergeant Ivan Braginsky tries to rebuild a more respectable life in a small little town only to get paired with rookie officer Alfred F. Jones and immediately regrets his decision. However, there's more to this golden boy than his pretty smile as Ivan soon finds himself dragged into a decades old cold case that never had a chance. He finds a town with a callous heart, two self destructing pariahs and a forgotten boy.
Worst of all, he discovers Jones might be more likeable than he cares to admit.
