Chapter Text

Asmodeus woke up and rubbed his eyes. The room looked just like it did the night before, only the sunlight shining through the window, the curtains swaying to the warm breeze, and the same faint smell of scented floral candles in the air.

Asmodeus sat up on their bed alone, feeling refreshed… Too refreshed. He started to think whether or not what happened last night even happened.

But that can't be a dream...

He remembered the touches, the whispers, the passion that had filled the room only a few hours ago. He could almost feel the warmth of Iruma and Clara's skin on his own, the way they moved together in the heat of the night. His body began to respond to the memories, a pleasant shudder ran past his back as he felt Iruma's fathom touches the night before.

The disappointment crept to his stomach at the mere thought of last night being just a dream. Asmodeus frowned, almost pouting if everything he remembered was just a pigment of his imagination.

But the sound of a door bursting open brought him out of his thoughts. Clara barged in, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "You're finally awake!" she exclaimed, a wide grin spreading across her face. "I was worried you'd sleep through breakfast!"

Iruma followed closely behind her, a tray of steaming food in hand that Clara had cooked for them. The smell of freshly cooked rice, egg, and sizzling bacon filled the room, making Asmodeus's stomach growl. "We figured you'd need your strength after... well, you know," Iruma said with a knowing smirk, glancing at Clara with a mischievous glint in his eye.

Oh.

A small smile crept up Asmodeus as they confirmed that last night had happened. They both looked at him expectantly, as if waiting for his reaction. He felt a blush spread across his cheeks, and he cleared his throat. "Breakfast does sound good," he said, trying to keep his voice steady.

Clara summoned a bed tray table for Asmodeus for him to eat his breakfast. He waited for Clara to bring out their own bed tray tables too, but when she didn't he finally spoke, "How about the two of you...?"

"We already ate breakfast a while ago." Iruma replied. Clara nodded along, "I just finished cooking that because SOMEBODY has no self-control" Clara says vaguely while glancing in Iruma's direction.

Iruma laughed nervously, "Well, it works out in the end... Azz overslept today, and a freshly cooked breakfast tastes better."

That made Asmodeus stop scooping for another bite, "...What time is it?"

"10:20 am" Clara replied, watching Asmodeus's reaction with a smirk.

Asmodeus's eyes widened. "10:20?" he echoed, dropping his fork. He expected it to be around 8:30 in the morning, still a bit later than his usual routine of 7:00, but forgivable. For him to wake up almost in the middle of the day was a shame for him.

"Yes," Clara said, sitting next to him, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "Iruma-chi and I decided to let you sleep in to let you recover fucked for the first time

Asmodeus felt his cheeks burn even hotter. She didn’t even try to filter her words, but he was too flustered to correct her. Plus, it was true. They had all been exhausted last night. "Still... You could have woken me up so I could help out with breakfast..." He mumbled, trying to focus on the delicious aroma of the food in front of him.

Iruma chuckled, setting the tray down gently on the bed. "It's fine, really. You deserve a break. Besides, Clara makes the best breakfast food." He winked at her, and she rolled her eyes playfully. "Plus, you know we like taking care of you."

Asmodeus felt his heart swell, and a warmth spread through his chest. He looked at the two of them, their smiles and gentle gazes, and couldn't help but feel a mix of happiness and shyness. He took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing thoughts. "Both of you are unfair," he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper.

Iruma raised an eyebrow, his smile never leaving his face. "Unfair?" he questioned playfully, as Clara sat down next to him, her hand finding its way to his thigh, giving it a comforting squeeze.

Asmodeus nodded, trying to swallow the lump in his throat. He feels as if his thoughts are being halted the moment Iruma leaned closer and Clara touched his thighs. "I can't – I uh– I don't know how to... I mean, I'm the one who usually takes care of both of you." Iruma and Clara looked at each other as if trying to decipher what Asmodeus was trying to say.

Clara chuckled when she figured out what he was trying to say, her eyes soft. "We know you do," she said gently. "But it's okay to let us take care of you sometimes. You don't always have to be the one in charge."

Asmodeus looked down at his plate, his eyes glazing over as he thought about it. It was true that he often felt responsible for the happiness and comfort of his partners. He was used to being the one who protected them. But the thought of them caring for him, not just in the physical sense but emotionally too, was something that touched him deeply.

He took a bite of his eggs, the taste exploding in his mouth. They really were delicious. "You two are truly unfair to my heart," he murmured, his voice filled with defeat.

Clara leaned in closer, her breath warm against his ear. "Don't worry, we're just giving you a taste of what it feels like to be pampered," she whispered, her hand giving his thigh a gentle squeeze.

Asmodeus couldn't help the involuntary jolt that ran through his body at her touch. He placed his hand over hers, "Clara..."

Clara impishly laughs, "Sorry Azz-Azz, watching you squirm under my touch is really amusing."

Asmodeus took a deep breath, trying to compose himself. He looked up to meet Clara's eyes, the warmth and affection in them soothing his racing heart. "It's fine," he said, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "I guess I could get used to it."

Just as he spoke, he felt another warm touch on his other thigh. Iruma had sat down on the edge of the bed, his hand resting comfortably next to Clara's. "What she said," he agreed, his voice a soft rumble that sent another shiver down Asmodeus's spine.

"Can you two PLEASE have mercy on my heart?"

Clara giggled, while Iruma smirked, "Mercy? Where's the fun in that?"

Asmodeus felt their hands start to move, lightly stroking his legs in sync, sending a thrill through his body. He took another bite of his food, trying to ignore the distraction, but it was getting harder to focus. The warmth of their touches was spreading up his legs, making him feel alive and desired. He swallowed hard, trying to keep his voice steady. "We still have to go to Tower of Babel..."

Both Clara and Iruma froze, their smiles faltering for a split second. The playfulness in the air dissipated, replaced with a sense of urgency. Clara was the first to stand up, her hand sliding away from Asmodeus's thigh. "You're right," she said, her voice serious now. "I'm almost done with the project, I'm bringing it to our office."

Iruma nodded, his hand lingering for a moment before pulling away as well. "I hope those crowns didn't go overboard" he added, his eyes searching Asmodeus's. "We should all get ready."

Asmodeus nodded, trying to ignore the slight disappointment that washed over him as their touch ceased. The warmth of their hands had been soothing. He took a deep breath and pushed the feelings aside, focusing instead on the tasks ahead. "You're right," he agreed, placing his plate aside. "I need a shower.”

"We'll leave you to it," Clara said, standing up as well. "But don't take too long, we have a busy day ahead." She shot him a teasing wink before turning to leave the room.

Iruma leaned in closer, his hand brushing against Asmodeus's cheek before he could pull away. "We'll be waiting," he whispered, his voice a gentle promise.

The sound of their retreating footsteps echoed in the room, leaving Asmodeus alone with his racing thoughts and the lingering warmth of their touch. He took a deep breath and stood up, heading towards the bathroom.

He turned the shower knob to the coldest setting, the sudden jolt of frigid water hitting his skin like a cold slap. He hissed, but it helped to clear his head and ease the tension that had built up in his body. He let the cold water wash over him, tracing the path of Clara and Iruma's touches with his hand, feeling the contrast between the coldness and the remembered warmth of their embrace.

"Ahhhh...."

As the water ran down his body, he couldn't help but let out a contented sigh, feeling the last traces of their touches dissipate under the icy flow. The coolness was refreshing, and it helped him to focus on the day ahead. He knew that their little morning surprise was meant to be sweet, but it had also left him feeling a bit overwhelmed and out of control.

For the first time in Asmodeus' life, he wants to skip work. He let out a sigh as he dried his body off with a towel, feeling the soft material glide over his skin. The cold shower had done little to dampen his arousal. He glances at the clock. 11:00 AM. He still had enough time to...

But no, he shouldn't. He couldn't. They had responsibilities as part of the 13 crowns. Plus, if he didn't go, who knows what those lunatics have drafted from their previous meeting?

He stepped out of the bathroom, wrapping the towel around his waist, feeling the warmth of the room against his cold skin. The scent of their lovemaking still lingered faintly in the air, a reminder of the passionate night they had shared. Asmodeus took a deep breath and squared his shoulders, pushing aside the tempting thoughts of a lazy day in bed.

He grabbed a fresh set of his usual clothes in the closet, tailored clothes similar to the ones he used to wear during their school days.

Clara and Iruma were already dressed and waiting for him in the living room. Clara looked stunning in her form-fitting dress, her hair styled in a braid. Iruma, on the other hand, wore a dark navy blue outfit with a custom-made cape Asmodeus had tailored just for Iruma.

His soulmates look so stunning as always. Ugh, he doesn't want to go to work today

"You okay, Azz-Azz?" Clara asked, noticing his flustered state. "You're not still thinking about last night, are you?" She winked at him, the mischief clear in her eyes.

Asmodeus rolled his eyes, trying to play it cool. "Of course not, just... lost in thought." He quickly finished dressing and joined them in the living room, trying to ignore the way his heart raced at the sight of them.

Iruma's phone rings, "Oh! Opera-san is here."

"Why is Opera-san here?" Asmodeus questioned.

"We're riding the carriage today, silly!" Clara replied with a giggle, her eyes sparkling as she watched Asmodeus try to compose himself. "Iruma-chi and I thought it would be best to give your wings a break after he had mercilessly touched and kissed it," she said with a knowing smile.

"You know," he began, trying to ignore the physical reaction his wingroot had on Clara’s words, "I can still fly."

Iruma laughed nervously, “C’mon now Azz-kun… Try not to push yourself hard today.”

Asmodeus let out an audible sigh, he felt the nerves of his wingroots twitch as he felt the phantom touches from last night. He's beginning to think maybe this carriage ride isn't such a big deal after all. “Alright then” he says with a slightly forced smile. “Let's go to Babel tower.”

They exited their house to see Opera waiting outside and greeted them with a slight bow. The carriage is the same as Sullivan has gifted Iruma, still in polished condition, considering how rarely Iruma uses it. Asmodeus couldn't help but feel a bit self-conscious as he climbed in. He was used to flying everywhere, and the idea of him using these two days in a row hurts his pride.

Once they were all seated, Opera took the reins, and the carriage lurched forward. Asmodeus stared out the window, watching the scenery pass by in a blur of color. His mind raced with the memories of the previous night, the way Clara's eyes had sparkled in the dim light, the sound of Iruma's laughter, the feeling of their bodies pressed against his.

Asmodeus bit the gums inside his mouth, 'Damn it...' he thought to himself, his mind still reeling from the sensual onslaught, which betrays his usual composed and professional self. The carriage ride was bumpy, and his thoughts were even more tumultuous. The gentle swaying of the carriage seemed to mimic the rhythmic motions of the night before, making it difficult for him to concentrate on the tasks ahead.

'I should have stayed home' he thought the 3rd time today.

When they reached Babel tower, Asmodeus helped Clara with her things. "Hey! I'm still not done with those!" Clara complained, trying to snatch it back. "Relax, I'm just helping you carry these to our office." Asmodeus replied back.

They made their way to the office space, and they passed by one of the chef's aide. Iruma went in their direction. "I greet the demon king on this glorious day." The demon said with a bow.

"Good morning, can you bring 3 dishes of today's special, find an alternative if the special uses fish." Iruma requested.

"Of course, we'll bring them to your office." The chef's assistant replied with a bow and retreated to the kitchen.

As they climbed the stairs to their office, they passed by another crown through the hallway, Shax Lied. He stopped in his tracks when he saw Asmodeus being back so soon. "Azz-azz, you're back already?!?" He exclaimed, his voice held a little disappointment.

Asmodeus couldn't help but smirk at his reaction, "Yes, I am. What's your problem?" He replied, challenging Shax's tone.

"Ugh... I lost the bet this time" he replied with a sigh.

Asmodeus raised an eyebrow in annoyance. "What bet?" He asked, his curiosity piqued despite his better judgment.

Lied sighed dramatically. "We had a bet on how long you'd be sick," He admitted with a chuckle, "I guessed a week at least. I was hoping for a nice, quiet office without you bossing us around for a while longer."

Iruma couldn't help but chuckled at the implication of Asmodeus being bound to bed for a week, the image of his lover, writhing in pleasure and trying to take the edge of his heat on his own, moaning their names.

...

He would love to see that again...

"I'm sorry to disappoint you, Shax," Asmodeus said dryly, "but it seems my "constitution" is stronger than you give me credit for."

Lied's face fell a little, but he couldn't hide his own curiosity. "What happened?"

Asmodeus just waved it off. "It's nothing." he said, hoping to put an end to the conversation. He didn't want to explain the truth about his absence, not to Shax or anyone else at the Tower. The last thing he needed was for his heat to be the subject of office gossip.

"Huh?" Lied stood there in the hallway alone and confused. "Well, if you say so..?" He shrugged, his tail flicking behind him before continuing his way to the kitchen.

Once they were in the demon king's office, Clara immediately went to her table, followed by Asmodeus by dropping her file bag by the side of her table, while she unpacks her laptop and the relevant written documents, Asmodeus hovered over, "As the demon king's secretary, I don't recall ever giving you a deadline for this. Why don't you loosen up working on this" Asmodeus remarked as he inspects one of the documents she had brought out.

"Nuh-uh!" Clara replied still focused on the screen in front of her,her fingers flying over her keyboard as she worked on the last details of her project. "I really want the soft launch of primary education to be a success!"

Iruma leaned over her shoulder, "It's not like you to get so obsessed with work," he teased, his hand landing gently on her shoulder, giving it a squeeze.

Clara didn't reply to that her expression turned serious, she let out a defeated sigh, "You know Iruma-chi... While investigating the other education facilities, I came across where Kiriyan-senpai used to train due to his lack of mana. Children enrolled there suffered untreated bruises, it made me wonder... If Kiriyan-senpai had proper guidance... Would he turn out differently?"

"Clara..." Asmodeus said in awe

"I am lucky." Clara started twiddling her fingers. "I am lucky my mommy guided me on how to use my bloodline ability. I'm lucky I got accepted to Babylus despite how hard it is to pass their entrance exams and..." Clara turned to look at Asmodeus and Iruma, with a radiant smile she always showed them

"I'm lucky and happy to have met my soulmates."

Iruma's gaze softened, and Asmodeus felt the weight of her love and dedication. "And that's why I wanted to give every fledgling a chance to grow up to be as lucky as me. To reach high to their ambitions! To never lose sight of what they wanted."

Iruma smiled, he had made the right decision to appoint her the head of basic education. A knock from outside their office.

"Come in." Iruma responded.

The door swung open, revealing three familiar faces, all wearing the same determined expressions. It was Shax Lied, Andro M. Jazz, and Ix Elizabetta. They carried the food, which Iruma had instructed the chef's aide.

"Why do you guys have our food?" Iruma questioned, sensing these three have their personal agenda.

The three of them set down the food on their break table. Jazz gritted his teeth, "Because..." He mumbled, pointing an accusatory finger towards Asmodeus, "There's no way Asmodeus recovered his fever in ONE night."

Asmodeus stood there unamused with his arms crossed, "Is this the bet Lied had mentioned?" Asmodeus asked.

"I've been sick before, and I usually recover within 3 days."

Asmodeus rolled his eyes. "Don't lump me with your poor immune system." He lied through his teeth

Ix Elizabetta chuckled, "Don't be bitter, I won the bet." She strides near Asmodeus with a discreet wink and a whisper, "I know something they don't know~"

Asmodeus felt a chill run down his spine. His eyes snapped to hers, "What do you mean?"

Elizabetta leaned in closer, her smile a knowing smirk. "I've seen the signs, Asmodeus," she whispered, her breath tickling his ear. "I hope Iruma-kun gave you tons of 'Vitamin D'" she winked.

Asmodeus felt his face heat up, his cheeks burning with a blush. Before Asmodeus could even retort back Elizabetta walked towards Clara, "Are you almost done with that Clarin?" She asked while playing with her hair.

"Almost," Clara replied, her eyes never leaving the screen of her laptop. "I should be done in 3 hours!" She added.

Elizabetta hummed, "I'm gonna use my money I won to take you out on a celebration dinner. Hmmm? And you can tell me the details while you're at it.

Lied's ears perked up, "Details? What details?" His eyes glinted with curiosity. "Is it about the new magic curriculum?"

Clara's fingers paused on her keyboard, the color draining from her face as she realized what Elizabeth was hinting at. "It's... It's just a standard report on the current state of education in Babyls," she lied, her voice pitched.

Lied's eyes narrowed, and Jazz leaned in, both of them sensing something was off. "A standard report, huh?" Jazz mused, his eyes darting from Clara to Asmodeus. "Why so secretive then?"

Iruma stepped in, his hand on Clara's shoulder, "It's nothing that concerns you two." He said firmly, his voice leaving no room for argument, pushing the two demons out of the room.

"I'll come pick you up later Clarin! Don't worry, it would be just the two of us!" She sweetly cooed.

Asmodeus's eyes widened, ' Oh no... she's not going to leave this alone ' he thought to himself. Clara looked up from her laptop, her face burning at each recollection of what happened last night. She knew that once Elizabetta had her sights set on something, she didn't let go easily.

Iruma stepped in smoothly, "Actually, Clara has plans with us tonight," he said, his voice firm.

"Oh, is that so? Too bad I even cancelled my meeting with Master and Grand Master to celebrate Clara's hard work. I'll just call them and-"

Clara stood up. "Don't worry, I'll go! I'll go! No need to go that far!" Clara interrupted her, trying to keep her voice steady. "I need to take a break anyway."

This is a better outcome than Elizabetta telling her predecessor that her son recently had his first heat cycle.

"Great! I'll pick you up later!" Elizabetta walked out to meet with Jazz and Lied outside the office, her tail swishing with excitement.

As the door closed, Clara slumped back into her chair with a relieved sigh. "Thank goodness she didn't push it further," she murmured.

"She had become as tenacious as the previous Head of Lust, that it is terrifying to even fight back" Asmodeus commented, seeing the resemblance of her mother's mannerism to Ix.

Iruma couldn't help but chuckle nervously. "It's fine," he said, trying to sound more confident than he felt. "It's just dinner."

Clara did not reply to that, because deep down she knows Elizabetta would get every detail out of her one way or another. She had grown to be a formidable seductress whom even Clara could not fight back on.
