    Summary

Steve had finished another sermon and Eddie sat in the pews his eyes staring Steve down hungrily. The church once a sanctuary of peace, now felt like a playground of temptation, where every shadow danced with possibility. He stood up tracing the intricate patterns of the stained-glass window, his eyes reflecting the hues of sin and salvation. "You know, Steve," he murmured, his voice a low rumble, "these windows, they tell stories of love and loss, of temptation and redemption. They're not so different from us. Steve looked up his eyes meeting Eddie's fiery gaze. A shiver ran down his spine from the forbidden intense love that crackled between them. Eddie was right; their story was one of love and temptation, a dance with the devil in the sacred halls of the church. Eddie crossed the cool stone floor and pointed at the window, his finger following the curve of a fallen angel. "This one was cast out for loving the wrong being. But was it really so wrong? Love, in all its forms, isn't it divine?" Eddie's words echoed his own suppressed thoughts. He turned to face Eddie, Eddie's eyes were pools of desire, reflecting Steve's own longing. "Maybe love is its own redemption." Steve whispered, his voice hoarse with restraint.
