Chapter 8: References

Part 5 was my attempt to take the AU!Trio outside of established Arrow canon. I desperately wanted to show off my AU!Shado. Well… she shows up. My muse just didn’t want to drag her through this story. However, I did get to explore AU!Shado’s origins a bit and I really got into the DCU!Yakuza. AU!Tatsu got to play a significant role in the resolution of this story arc. I have updated Part X with new character profiles for Tatsu, Shado, and the Yakuza. I apologize now for every time I misrepresented the Japanese culture, language, or behaviors for my Japanese characters. I am American and very flawed. Please let me know where I messed up and I will try to fix it. I tried… desperately… to reflect the culture accurately.

That said, this is a summary of my sources and my definitions. References link you to my source material if you want to know more (Note: the ‘://’ has been replaced with a ‘./’ to ensure the link appropriately copied).

I use many idioms, phrases, slang, translations, etc. I tried to list them here to help you understand unfamiliar phrases in context. Acronyms are listed. I also listed the Arrowverse canon locations and terms for reference.
