Chapter Text
Noel and Ricky sat on the curb together just outside an ice cream parlor, enjoying the cold treat combating the summer heat. They had been just quietly cloud-gazing, enjoying each other’s company in the way they felt comfortable while out in public. They could talk in sign language if they really wanted to, but there was just something nice about nothing being said.
However, Ricky can only put up with serene for so long – he can’t endlessly bask in the glow of the sun like Noel. Instead, he adopted a mischievous smile before tapping Noel’s nose with his ice cream.
