Stories of the Multiverse. Generic Crossovers! And... Aus And Other Things.

Summary:

Well, this is where I'll post the pilot chapters for future fanfics that I may never continue writing. Also, if you're interested, you can adopt any chapter as your own! The vast majority will be crossover-themed, but some may appear. Violence and other aspects will depend on the stories being used to create the fanfic.

I enjoy writing worldbuilding.

Warning! The office's native language isn't English, so you might see a lot of translation or spelling errors!

pilot chapter/prologue/test/adopted/for public use.

Notes:

I hope you like the chapter ☺️.

Please stop messaging me offering things, I'm not interested. I know how to draw, even if it's a bit ugly and childish...

And for those who want to talk to me privately, I'll just say that you should talk here first, and after a long time I'll consider having a private conversation with you. Otherwise, I won't accept any more isolated conversations elsewhere.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: Amphibia x Primal.

Chapter Text

Amphibia fang and eyes, Pilot chapter: fire and monster.

I hope the pilot episode is enjoyable. And I hope I've managed to blend these two worlds well.

There's a strange smell in the air.

A beaked animal raises its neck above the undergrowth. The creature resembles a cross between a featherless ostrich and a lizard. Its neck and the tip of its tail are light blue, while the rest of its body is light brown with a light-colored belly.[1]

He blinks, only seeing the females, other males, and chicks grazing peacefully in the open field.

The females look similar to him, but without the blue coloring. The chicks are brown and yellow, with white spots. They haven't lost their down yet.

He continues eating the grass, and if he's lucky, maybe some insects.

But the smell still hasn't gone away. Hmmmm...

A croak catches his attention. He walks toward the sound and sees one of the other males beside him look at him in terror. Everyone slowly backs away as he croaks, asking what's going on.  Why are they so afraid of him?!

Poor, foolish bird.

Behind him stood a bipedal reptilian creature with a slightly wide snout and a long tail with two small protuberances above each eye. The creature's body was robust, with broad legs and arms that weren't too wide, but not too large. Three-fingered hands with small but very sharp claws.

Its body is bluish-gray, with a cream-colored belly. It has a blue patch on its head that covers it almost completely, with only the upper jaw and half of the lower jaw remaining the normal color, resembling a mask.

Its hands, parts of its forearms, parts of its feet, and legs were the same color as the 'mask,' giving the impression that it was wearing gloves and loose socks.[2]

Its blue eyes were focused on the back of its prey's neck.

The animal continued to squawk, begging its master to tell it what was happening.

"Rrrr…"

His eyes widened as he felt a strong, carrion-smelling breath on the back of his neck. Slowly, he turned around only to be greeted by a cavern of flesh and teeth, even seeing the uvula.

Unfortunately, that was his last sight as everything went dark.

A group of small, bipedal reptiles, larger than rodents, hop happily, trying to catch insects in the shadows of the forest. The lime-green creatures run when they notice something approaching.[3]

The predator steps where the small creatures once stood. It walks calmly, holding its prey in its mouth by the neck. Drops of blood drip down its lips.

It stops, looking left and right, and continues on its way.

It does the same thing several times, occasionally turning a corner among the trees.

Listening to the birdsong and flying reptiles without much enthusiasm.

It smells the claw marks on a tree made by its paws and continues walking.

The predator sees a large, two-story structure made of stone and wood, abandoned for many years. Vegetation has already taken over the walls of this place.

It sighs through its nostrils, having finally reached its den.

He enters through an opening in the rocks.

Inside, there aren't many important things, just worthless objects whose names he doesn't know, and a skeleton of the den's former owner.

The skeleton sits on a pewter wooden object with another metal object beside it on the ground. The skull has a hole in the side.

The predator shakes its head before entering a hole in the ground and carefully descending a ladder.

He lets out a small "roooooo" to announce his arrival.

He only receives a faint moan and a sad groan.

He approaches a female lying on the cold stone floor. She looks just like him, only sandy brown with a belly the same color as his. No sign of blue spots.

He places the prey in front of him, hoping she'll eat. The female turns her face away from the food and curls up with her tail.

The male simply lowers his head sadly, his eyes focused on her, only to see something behind her.

Behind the female, pressed against the wall, a mound of dry leaves and tiny egg fragments.

He sadly lies down in front of her and eats his kill, hoping to make her hungry.

The taste is no longer the same.

Everything is so cold lately.

His life is no longer the same.

Brrr boom! From inside his den, the male saw and heard the heavens roar. He saw how the wind was so aggressive it was knocking over trees.

It was supposed to be a calm night.

The clouds weren't behaving normally either, as they were emanating a strange, intense blue glow, along with lightning of the same color.

The male swore he saw faces forming in the clouds.

He growled.

While the male watched the den entrance, the female slept, oblivious to her stomach pains.

Every time thunder rumbled, she growled, as if begging him to stop making noise while she suffered. A strong wind inside the den made her shiver with cold, but she refused to get up.

After a minute, the wind died down, but she felt a weight on her body.

"Arrrrr... huh?"  The female opens one eye before raising her neck and opening the other eye. She shakes her waist, confirming that there is indeed something on top of her. Her jaw drops.

Slowly she turns, surprised to see a strange creature sleeping with its head resting on the side of her belly, near her thigh.

She considers biting or calling the male to do it and get rid of it, but she just brings her snout close to her face and sniffs.

The creature has strange fur on its head, with no visible hair on its body other than this strange thing on its body that doesn't look like hair. It has long arms and legs, but they are smaller than hers in comparison; the creature's body in general is smaller than hers.

A hand with... five fingers? It looks a bit like the skeleton upstairs.

I've never seen a creature like that.

She gives a loud sniff. The pupils of her eyes glow.

The creature is also a female, and a young one, close to reaching maturity.

It's practically a puppy.

Its tail wags and it lovingly licks the puppy's face. The puppy squirms a little, but remains asleep.

The strange creature shivers a little in the cold. Seeing this, the female curls up around it for extra warmth.

And for the first time in weeks, it falls asleep with a smile on its face.

What's this strange feeling?

Domino? She rubs her hand, feeling a strange sensation. It's like she's running her hand over a leather purse.

It's not Domino.

The girl opens her eyes to find a reptilian face right above her legs. Anne stammered, unsure why she couldn't scream. Over her shoulder, she felt the tip of the creature's tail move.

Taking a deep breath, she calmed down and tried to analyze the situation.

Okay, you woke up with a monster...

She looks a little closer to the creature.

Dinosaur... wrapped around you.

It must be just Sasha's prank, right? This has to be a super realistic doll. Yes, it has to be! Good, girls, get out of here!

The dinosaur's face began to contort.

"What the—" she almost managed to scream when the large lizard exhaled.  Some mucus splashed onto her clothes. But the dinosaur didn't wake up.

A dinosaur... It's a real dinosaur...

A dinosaur is sleeping.

The girl feels like she's about to collapse. She has to run away. She can't stay here when this thing wakes up hungry.

She sees her backpack over the lizard's head.

Okay, first get the backpack, then... I think about what to do.

Hesitantly, she tries to slowly push the head out of her legs. She grunted; the lizard's head was heavy.

Over and over she pushed, but it couldn't budge. The girl closed her eyes, mumbling.

"Aaaauuurrr." The girl's blood ran cold at the sound. When she opened her eyes, she saw herself reflected in the dinosaur's amber eyes.

No screams, no stutters, nothing.

Not even the sound of breathing could be heard.

The lizard blinked, watching Anne. Its head resting on her legs.

The dinosaur blinked one last time before smiling and pulling her head away from the girl to go back to sleep, leaving her free. Anne blinked blankly.

She stood up quickly, running to her backpack and hugging her.

She checked her things, thanking her for it. Putting the backpack on her back, she checked her location, and it became even more confusing. She was in an attic, with stone walls and moss. There were a few square holes, probably shelves, with pieces of what were once important things.

The floor was a bit, well, mossy. There were weeds and some luminescent mushrooms.

Oh, and the corpse of a half-eaten dinosaur with blood all around it.

Looking away, she could see a—

"A ladder!" she shouted in a whisper. "Yes, that's it! I just have to go slowly."

Little by little, she walked toward her goal, of course, without taking her eyes off the sleeping dinosaur.

Bad choice, friend.

Anne froze as she felt a breath blowing through her hair.

"Rrrrrrrrrrrrr."

Slowly she turned, seeing the male right in front of the stairs. He wasn't happy at all.

"Come on..." Anne said before screaming as the male advanced. She fell to the ground, crawling backward as the male only got closer.

Her heart pounded.

With each step, his mouth opened, and she saw his teeth more and more.

Anne screamed in pain as he stomped on her left leg. His teeth were very close to her face.

The male lifted his head. She knew what he was going to do. This thing was going to fall on her like a guillotine.

Won't she be able to see her parents? Her friends? Domino?

She cried, praying to anyone to save her. It was then that she screamed.

"Mom!"  The male's head only came within a few inches of her face, then froze.

The blue dinosaur cried out as the female bit his snout. She pulled him away from the girl, before pushing the male away, nearly tripping on the stairs.

The male shook his head before lunging at the girl again, but the female stepped in front of her defensively.

The girl's eyes widened in astonishment. Is this defending me?

The male roared, but the female roared even louder, startling him. Then he roared again.

"Aaaaarrrr!"

"Aaaaarrraaarra!" She roared back.

"Aaarrrr!" He pointed his arms at Anne.

"Waaaayyerrr!" She made a gesture with her claws.

"Aaaaarrrr!"

"Uyttaaaaarrr!"

That's almost human.

They... am I arguing?

Anne sees this with surprise. "It looks like my parents arguing. I already know how it's going to end." She rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"Aaaaafrrrr." The mother points her head to a corner of the wall before returning to the boy's face.

"Ruuuaaaarr!" he replied tearfully.

"Aaaaafrrrr!"

The male was about to try to scream again, but seeing the female's frowning face, he stopped dead in his tracks.

He raised his head and claws toward the ceiling, stifling a scream of frustration that surely the entire forest would have heard.

His head and claws fell downward as he went to the corner she pointed to and lay down there.

The female gave a little victory dance with her hindquarters. She let out a sound that sounded like a laugh.

"Yeah, really, it's just like my parents," Anne said before seeing that the brown dinosaur's focus was on her. The female tilted her head toward her.

"Heh... Then I guess I'll..." Anne pointed her fingers at the ladder, "Try to find a way home, so goodbye. And thanks for saving me?"

She runs to the stairs, but as soon as she sets foot on the first step, the female lifts her up, grabbing her backpack.

"Come on!" she screams as the female walks to a pile of leaves, where she releases the girl.

Anne sits down, legs and arms crossed, her face a mix of fear and anger. The female pokes her with her snout, making her fall to the side.

"Oooorrr."

"Ahh, you're not going to let me go, are you?" Anne asks, but her response isn't the best. "Hey, what are you doing! Wait!" Her screams are muffled as the female sits on top of her like a chicken, with only the girl's arms and legs able to escape.

Anne has to admit, her belly is soft and smooth, but it's still suffocating her. The girl begins to punch and scratch to escape. The female smiles as her new cub wrestles with her belly.

The girl's arms fall to the ground, and the screaming stops.

Oh, looks like she's already back to sleep.

"Ruuuuuuuu..."

The next day started with Anne feeling like a kitten. The female took her from the attic, lifting her beautiful backpack only to place it on the floor of the house.

A human house. I mean, that's pretty obvious when you see the attic.

Looking for the brown dinosaur, presumably a female, Anne sees her sitting at the entrance to the den, with her back to her.

Looking for escape points, she sees that the windows are boarded up with wooden planks and not a single door.

But what about the upstairs? Well...

Looking up, there are only two wooden planks, one hanging almost fallen.

Seeing there's no escape, Anne decides to investigate.

Honestly, she doesn't see anything interesting, but it's better than doing nothing.

Pieces of sofa, a mattress, pieces of the upstairs, a shirt button, a scythe-shaped claw, a wooden pistol with a metal barrel...

"...?"

Anne tilts her head, shaking the object with her hands as she examines it. It looks like a pistol pirates use in movies, with engravings of sea dinosaurs carved into the wood.

Looking at where the gun was, Anne can see the leg of the chair and the bones of a hand... Looking up, Anne sees the skeleton of a man, probably an adult, wearing ancient-looking clothes, with rips in the chest and a large stain of old blood. Looking at the floor around the chair, she can see patches of claws and blood.

There's a bullet on the floor.

Turning back to the man, she can see that his hair is white with spiderwebs. His mouth is missing some teeth and there's a hole through his skull.

Anne looks at the hole and then at the gun in her hand. She throws the gun on the floor.

She walks away, sitting on the floor. She puts her backpack on her lap to look for something.

Anne takes out a small piece of paper, a photo of herself with two girls, one blonde and one with black hair.

Tears fall onto the image.

Wiping her tears with her arm, she pulls out a strange music box with three jewels. One blue, one pink or red, and one green, all dull in color.

Troubled, she opens the lid, waiting for the sparkle. But nothing happens.

"What?"

The girl begins to open and close the box several times. Again, nothing happens.

"No, no, no!"

With a loud slam, she closes it.

"Why?"

Yesterday was supposed to be her day. Her special day, hers and her friends' and family's.

It was her 13th birthday.

Hugging her legs, Anne begins to sob.

And she cries for a long time.

Sasha's words linger in her mind.

Why did you make me take the box?

On the fourth or fifth day—she's not even sure—the dinosaur couple finally let her wander outside the house.

Under strict surveillance, of course, of Yothaka, the name she gave the female. Or Thahan, the male.

Thai names she almost gave her cat.

Yothaka is affectionate... With a strange smell, but Anne is already used to it. Yothaka always lies down with her, tries to comfort her when Anne has a crying fit.

As for Thahan, he always moves away. He doesn't even try to get close, preferring to spend as much time hunting as possible rather than being near her. He always gives her a look that says, "I don't want you here."

"I don't want to be here either," Anne said, seeing Thahan looking at Anne. The male dinosaur is perched low in a tree.

Anne returned her focus to the game she's playing on her phone, which, by some miracle, has 10,000% battery (is that even possible?). She's sitting on a fallen log, almost comfortably.  Her backpack is beneath her feet.

Yothaka watches curiously from the floor next to Anne.

"That's it!" Anne raised her fist in victory. Her monstrous nanny roared in celebration.

Anne blinked, remaining silent for a moment before laughing. Curiously, Yothaka laughed along, or tried to imitate her as she always does.

That's weird.

.
.
.
.

At night, by the glow of the campfire, Anne warms a marshmallow, sitting on the same log, gazing at the stars. Beside her, Yothaka sleeps peacefully in the warmth.

Thahan is in the darkness, among the trees where she can't see. The two glowing dots are the only indication of his whereabouts.

"You don't like fire, do you?"

"You know... You remind me of someone," Anne said, her eyes still on the stars. "You're just like Sasha's dad. Quiet, blue eyes, the same unfriendly face, and you seem to dislike people." She laughed. "Coincidentally, you two are also good hunters!"

The smell of something burning makes her nostrils wrinkle.

"Oh damn!" She blows on the marshmallow, managing to save it, sighing in relief that she didn't burn her snack. "You know, I don't know why I'm talking to you... You two seem to understand me, but sometimes you don't. It's just weird, you know?"  She asked, receiving silence from the male and snorts from the female.

"I think I'm going crazy..."

A week later?

Again, she was being carried like a kitten. Only they were going deeper into the forest.

Walking, she saw all sorts of insects and plants of all shapes and sizes.

And some rocks positioned strangely. House ruins?

Where is she, anyway?

Like, there are human houses and dinosaurs.

'Could I be in the future?!' Anne's eyes widened as she imagined this possibility. 'I heard rumors that they're trying to clone cave wolves, did it work?' she couldn't help but feel her body shaking.

Yothaka walked happily, nodding slowly as if listening to some inner music.

Thahan rolled his eyes.

In a tree just above them were three reptilian creatures with membranous wings, similar to large pterosauruses. They had large heads with protruding teeth and no beaks.  Its tail was long and ended in an arrowhead.

The three were green, with dark stripes running from their heads to the tip of their tails, and had light, almost beige bellies. (4)

Everyone stared at the strange family. The three looked to see if they were seeing the same thing.

The first one grunts, as if asking something. He pointed his wing at the dinosaurs and the human.

The second and third ones shrugged, without a response. They decided to fly after them.

.
.
.
"

Wow!" The girl's eyes sparkled like stars as she saw the enormous, crystal-clear lake, teeming with aquatic and semi-aquatic vegetation. Along with an enormous abundance of animal life.

And there are also some giant mushrooms, but they also exist within the forest, with some even close to home. Honestly, the mushrooms only served to give her a theory about where she might be.

But she dismissed that theory; after all, this doesn't look like the center of the Earth.

With predators and prey peacefully drinking water.

Like the long-necked dinosaurs, the three-horned dinosaurs, pterodactyls, and several T-Rexes.

She's not very good at remembering the names of dinosaurs. Maybe Marcy is a little better, since she often compares their behavior to that of RPG monsters.

They finally arrived. After, what? Two hours? I don't think it was just a few minutes. Yes, just a few minutes of walking.

She walked alongside her "guardians," heading toward the edge of the lake.

Not far from them were several dinosaurs similar to Triceratops, but smaller and with only two upward-curving horns on their heads. The spines on their bony shields were small, except for two that were quite large; all were a yellowish-white color.

They were all brown, with their bellies, undersides of their heads, and tails being dark beige, but that was only the females and their calves. The males, especially the leader of the herd, were caramel-colored with some golden hues. On his bony shield, he had two red eye-shaped spots with two black dots. (5)

Some calves looked at the trio with great surprise, tilting their small heads to the side.

The females didn't even care; they were busy talking and cleaning the babies.

The males were play-fighting, butting heads for fun with the other males.

The leader of the herd, a scarred male, lying on the lake sand, raised an eyebrow.

They're definitely going to devour this human.

He lays his head on his paw and sleeps.

Thahan entered the water first, very calmly, while his partner, Yothaka, jumped in, splashing water everywhere before diving in. Thahan blinked three times before rolling his eyes.

Anne watches all this with amusement. Setting her backpack down, she takes a few steps before the triceratops start squawking.

The vast majority of the animals remain completely silent; others are already in a defensive position.

And Anne, well, she's transfixed by the dinosaur, or rather, monster, that's crawling out of the trees.

It's huge, almost like Thahan and Yothaka, only bigger and chubbier. Almost as big as the long-necked ones, the same color and stripes as a tiger, with a face that looks like it's wearing a mask.  With a row of spines from the neck to the tip of the tail. With limps on the hands and paws. Legs so muscular they would make any bodybuilder envious.(6)

The most prominent detail is the countless arrows and spears embedded in its already scarred skin. A metal spear is embedded right in the dinosaur's right eye, with only one honey-colored eye.

Its gaze falls on the human girl, judging her.

Her two guardians gasped as the giant brought its snout closer and sniffed her hair. The only one, its pill, widened, and its eye twitched. Its lips parted, exposing its red gums and shark teeth in a bestial smile.

You've finally arrived...

She trembled. Is this death? Sweat dripped down her forehead in torrents. Anne felt like she might start crying at any moment. She was about to say goodbye to her life, her friends, and her family.

The cyclops sensed this.

Pulling his lips together, he chirped calmly, then walked away from her, into the middle of the herd of triceratops.

All the dinosaurs went back to doing something as if nothing had happened.

Anne blinked blankly. "Did it realize I was scared and decide to leave?"

Yothaka quickly emerged from the water and proceeded to pet Anne. She returned the gesture by hugging her head.  Thahan stood in front of the girl, simply watching the Cyclops from a distance.

"You're not normal animals... Nothing here is normal," Anne thought, stroking Yothaka's snout. "Can we go in the water?" she asked, and the female only chirped in response.

After changing her swimsuit into a swimsuit. Don't question why she has it in her backpack. She scrubbed her clothes with her hands to remove the dirt and then left them on a rock before immediately starting to play with Yothaka.

Anne was placed on her back by the female. Yothaka made a sound to tell the girl to hold on tight and take a deep breath.

They knowingly dived to the deepest part of the lake. Together they saw everything. Seagrass, schools of fish, and something that surprised Anne a little.

Anne pointed to get her rider's attention. Yothaka smiled, seeing what her cubs wanted to show her.

A gigantic black salamander with an orange tail as long as a giant crocodile swam beside them. Anne and Yothaka looked at each other and smiled, continuing their exploration.

They passed over the legs of the large long-necked animals, startling some of them when they surfaced to breathe.

They screamed and complained. Anne and she laughed, saying, seeing the faces of the long-necked animals, it was like seeing an angry giraffe.

Sometimes they burst out of the water just to try to scare Thahan, but he simply continued floating in the water.

"Aarrraaaarr!" Anne roared playfully, chasing after Yothaka. She screamed, pretending to be afraid of her cub.

Thahan snorted as he lay on the sand. His outburst was interrupted by a ball of sand and mud. Looking in the direction from which he was thrown, he saw Anne and her partner facing away, with the human pretending to whistle innocently.

He returns to rest, but again a ball of sand and mud hits his face. He growls, wiping it away with his claws. Another ball of sand and mud hits him.

Another.

And another.

Ok, there it is. With a vein in his forehead and a roar, he runs toward them, making them run.

"Hhhhaaaa, you're too slow!" Anne screamed, her tongue lolling out.

"Tyrrreraaarrr!" Yothaka roared.

A wicked smile appeared on Thahan's face. He quickened his pace, making them scream in despair.

Meanwhile, atop a mushroom, the trio of small pterosauruses are watching all this with great amusement, eating a bunch of fish and popcorn.

And the one-eyed giant sees all this between the trees.

.
.
.
.

Thahan, Yothaka, and Anne are watching the sunset. The human is lying on Yothaka's side, with the female resting her neck against Thahan's.

Both the female and the human are almost exhausted, drained of energy from all the playing.

Out of the corner of his eye, Thahan sees the human already sound asleep. The human cub slept so peacefully.

His gaze hardens. "You're not my cub, and you won't be able to replace them."

"Ache." Anne lets out a cute sigh, making his eyes soften. His heart pounds.

But you know, you're actually quite cute.

A smile spread across his face.

You may not be my cub, but you're family now. Hmmmm.

I can live with this.

I think it's been a year since I've been living with them. I'm still trying to leave to find a way home or to my world, but I don't think they'll let me go too far from their territory. Although I can already go to the lake alone.

I've seen a lot of things, houses, human and animal skeletons in this region, especially in our territory. Some died fighting, and others... Well... They just gave up.

And if the Cyclops' scars indicate anything, it's that there are or once were humans in this world. They were probably in great conflict with the dinosaurs in the region.

Oh, did I forget to mention the Cyclops? He's basically a giant Thahan with spikes and one good eye. A dinosaur so big he's capable of killing the fiercest long-necked dinosaurs. I've even seen him take one down with a single headbutt! Every now and then I feel him watching me, even if I can't see him, I know the Cyclops is there... Among the trees.

But that's nothing to worry about.

Thahan has been getting me up lately on his hunts. It's like a father taking his son fishing, only bloodier. At first, it was just observation, then he brought me a kind of featherless, live ostrich, waiting for me to kill it!

Like, why?! When I refused, well, he killed and ate the 'ostrich' right in front of me.

Is it normal that I don't even care about the blood that splashed on me anymore?

The second time I made a spear. He doesn't like it much. He screamed and growled, but after a long argument, he calmed down.

Now that I've noticed, I argued with a dinosaur... I'm already going crazy.

We started stealthily following a herd of dinosaur ostriches hidden in the tall grass.

Thahan managed to grab him by the neck, and I took advantage and pierced his chest with the tip of my spear, giving him a quick kill.  We've already secured food at a great time, because the supplies in the backpack have already run out.

When we returned, Yothaka licked me affectionately, proud of our first hunt together.

It was... It was good. It's a good memory.

Now I'm planning how I'll let them go beyond the forest, to the plains. I know I can't go alone, and I don't want to; I want to take them with me.

I'm sure when Sasha and Marcy see me, they'll be jealous, because I have two dinosaurs as my personal bodyguards.

If they're alive. No, of course they're alive! I'm sure!

But maybe I need to wait a little longer before looking for them. Maybe another year...

Anne turned off her phone, having already finished writing in her digital diary.

Thahan grunts. "It's time to get dinner tonight."

You know? Sometimes I think I'm starting to understand what you're saying.

He was about to let her climb onto his back before running off with Yothaka beside them.

Anne smiled. "I can enjoy this for a bit."

While this was happening.

The trio of small pterosaurs were flying peacefully a few kilometers away, at the edge of the forest.

One of the pterosaurs spotted a large trail of smoke coming in the distance.

He squawked, telling his brothers to hold him to the smoke.

Flying for a while, they finally found where the black cloud was coming from, or rather, who it was coming from.

"Oooooooaaaarrrr!"

The trio screamed in fear before flying into the forest.

The sun was already setting. And Anne and her guardians were already heading home for a good meal.

Anne was already talking to the female about what kind of herbs they'd added to the meat to give it more flavor; she already has some she knows are edible in her backpack. Oh! And her spear is attached to her backpack with vines.

She was talking to Yothaka, who was listening intently. The female dinosaur was already drooling.

But the male suddenly stopped in mid-stride and sniffed the air.

Thahan growled.

"Hey, big guy, what's up? Is that trio again?" Anne asked. But he just continued growling, looking back.

Yothaka gave a deep sniff. Is that the burning smell?

The ground began to shake. Anne saw the stones popping like popcorn.

"What's—oh!" Anne said, seeing a long-necked creature running toward them.

It was as big as a tree.  Its neck is as large as most long-necked animals, but its posture is more like that of cartoon brontosauruses. Its long tail and whip are also chubby. Its head is quite small compared to its body.

Its body is gray, with the head, neck, and front legs being bright red. Its belly is white. (8)

A fantastic animal to behold.

And now it's coming towards us!

Anne screamed as she was almost crushed, but luckily Thahan pulled her out of the way.

The neck continued running without looking back, screaming and crying, fire burning the tip of its tail.

"Isn't that little Bob?" Anne asked. The ground began to shake violently.

Where little Bob came from, a large number of herbivores and carrion of all kinds and sizes are running in fear and despair, some even catching fire.

A huge amount of flesh, teeth, and muscle is heading straight for them!

"Stampede!"  Anne screamed, jumping onto Thahan's back. The trio began to run, dodging the animals as they ran.

Looking back, among the herd, she could see a huge amount of fire and smoke rising into the sky.

Can you see night already? No.

"What's happening?"

"Oooooooaaaarrrr!" A huge silhouette appeared amidst the sea of fire and smoke.

"What the— oh shit!" Anne screamed, seeing a fireball fall beside them.

Anne watched in horror as an explosion killed most of the dinosaurs on her right. The animals' bodies were torn apart and burned.

Another fireball was fired from the silhouette, this time hitting the dinosaurs in front of them. Some of the dinosaurs stumbled over the charred bodies.

Yothaka and Thahan dodged out of the way, escaping the stampede.

Without looking back, they don't notice the silhouette deviating from the path in the direction they are going.

The wind is strong, making the fire spread faster.

Thahan growls as the fire approaches, but his expression changes when he sees a wide river in the distance. They'll be safe if they cross! They just have to go down the hill and—

A fireball falls right in front of them, and they stop in surprise.

"Oooooooaaaarrrr!"

From within the flames, they see a huge, long-necked creature similar to a brachiosaurus, with completely black skin and several tattoos, emerge. The strangest thing is that this thing has armor on its legs that appears to be made of black bricks. And its head has a helmet similar to an Aztec statue with chameleon eyes. The eyes never stop moving, making it look cross-eyed.

The scariest thing was the absurd amount of black smoke emanating from the side of its mouth.

Yothaka and Thahan gasped.

"What the hell is this?!" Anne screamed.

The armored longneck's eyes stopped moving, locking onto them.

Slowly, the longneck moved at a snail's pace, making the carnivorous pair back up.

Yothaka saw how the longneck's eyes were fixed on Thahan, or rather, on whoever was with him.

Anne.

"Aaaarrrrrrr," an almost supernatural growl sounded from the armored longneck's throat.

"Rrrraaar... Arra, haaaarr..." Yothaka grunted and whispered to her mate. He retorted.

She screamed softly and continued speaking to her male. Anne was confused.

Thahan's eyes widened.

The female stopped in mid-stride as the male counted moving.

"Thahan..." Anne called, "Thahan, what are you doing?!"  She screamed softly, but the female didn't move.

The brachiosaurus snapped its teeth, making a similar "nacchere" sound. A grim smile spread across its face.

The glow of the fire and moonlight only made the scene worse.

"Aarrrr." Yothaka growled at his mate before roaring, "rrrraaaaaaaaarrrr!"

Thahan's pupils became thin. He turns and runs towards the river.

"Yothakaaaaaa!" Anne screamed.

Yothaka saw his cub and his mate with a smile. She turned to look at the monster.

The brachiosaurus's smile only widened unnaturally.

"Rrrrrrrrrrrrr..." Yothaka became serious, while the armored brachiosaurus snapped its teeth even more intensely.

She raises her head to roar at her enemy. "Rroooooooaaarrrrrr!"

She advances, running, heedless of the creature's size. She has to give her cub and partner time to escape.

"Oooooooaaaarrrr!" Screaming, the brachiosaurus rises on two legs. The monster's throat glows orange and yellow. The smoke emanating from its mouth is soon fire.

And even seeing this, even knowing this could be the last time. Her last fight. Her last day in this world of good and evil.

She continues to advance.

In the darkness, with the fire lighting the way, Thahan ran between flaming trees.

And to make matters worse, the wind decided to pick up strength, making the fire advance even faster.

Anne uses her shirt as a makeshift mask to keep from splashing the ashes. The poor thing is crying profusely, hugging the dinosaur's head tightly.

Thahan purrs to try to calm her crying.

Thahan catches a glimpse of three fallen trees.

When the first one falls, he finds himself. He passes by the second one sideways. And with the third one, he leaps over it like a kangaroo, landing on his feet on the other side, continuing to run to his safe place. And he does all this with Anne hugging him even tighter.

He quickly brakes right next to the river. He looks at a tree, seeing claw marks on it. That's the place, but his face isn't one of relief, but of frustration.

The stone path his family used to cross the river for generations has sunk. And the icing on the cake: the waters are even more violent, dragging rocks and logs.

No, shit, No!

He screams in rage. The fire has blocked their path, leaving them on a small patch of land. Now the only way is through the treacherous waters or follow the river with the unstable Edge and fall in.

"Aaaarrrr!" Yothaka screams as she falls to the ground next to them, startling them. Shaking, she gets up, covered in bloody wounds, tooth marshes, and burns.

"Yothaka!" Anne jumps from the male's back to try to help the female to her feet.

I hope, where is the—

"Oooorrrr~."

Yothaka and Thahan growl, as Anne pulls out her spear, now tipped with stone, and holds it tightly.

Traumatized, the brachiosaurus emerges from the fire, with that shit-eating grin on its face. Its tattoos glow even brighter.

The psychotic long-necked creature licks its teeth with its black tongue.

The trio growls.

Anne jumps and clings to Thahan's side.

Having no other choice, they advance with a single roar.

The brachiosaurus's throat glows, and as if it were a dragon, it breathes fire.

"Ah! This thing breathes fire!?" Anne screamed. Thahan and his partner manage to get out of the way of the flames. The brachiosaurus then throws its neck toward the human, but Thahan swerves it by slamming its tail into its head.

The monster screams as Yothaka bites hard on the unprotected area of its arm. The brachiosaurus opens its teeth forcefully, swinging the female, causing her to fall to her feet next to the male. Only the male is there.

The monster tilts its head in confusion.

Where's the human? Suddenly, it feels a knock behind its helmet.

"Come on, come on! You have to have an opening or something!" Anne said, swinging her spear, hoping to pierce something. "Are you made of metal or something?!"

The helmet's hairy eyes rotate 380 degrees, focusing on the human. Anne stops her spear in midair when she sees the creature's black glass eyes.

"What part of the underworld did you come from?" The monster responded, shaking its neck like an eel out of water, trying to throw her away. Anne manages to wedge the spear in a gap between the black bricks.

The monster was so focused on her that it forgot about the two carnivores.

The pair of predators leaps and bites hard on both of the creature's elbows. The monster screams, rising on its two legs, still moving its neck. It swings its front paws, knocking them both to the ground.

With such movement, the spear broke in half, and Anne lost her balance and fell. The brachiosaurus lowered its paws, causing the ground to crack under its weight. It quickly caught the human with the tips of its teeth by the hem of her shirt, preventing her from falling backward a millimeter.

The girl stood with her arms and legs spread wide in the air, stunned. The monster smiled evilly, slowly raising her neck.

Yothaka bites the monster's neck, which manages to let go. Just as the brachiosaurus was about to lift its neck, Thahan bites the back of the human's shirt. They both pull, and the fabric rips, leaving the girl with half of her belly exposed.

Yothaka lets go of the monster's neck and goes to her partner's side.

Anne falls to the ground on her butt, letting out a groan of pain. The trio rolls to the side as they feel a great heat, avoiding being hit by a fireball.

Anne, away from the couple, watches as the brachiosaurus pulls its neck back like a heron.

Like a snake's strike, the monster lunges at Anne. The girl dodges in time and then plunges what's left of the spear right into the monster's rotting gums. Purple blood drips between her teeth.

The monster roars in pain.

"This is for hurting my friend!"  Anne screamed, immediately picking up a rock the size of a soccer ball. The girl twisted her body, throwing it, and then hurled it hard at one of her eyes. Anne was grateful that her muscles had grown a bit these past few months.

The lens of her right eye cracked. She definitely didn't like that. Her smile faded, replaced by a scowl. Angrily, the monster raised a paw, intending to crush her. But the girl was faster, and easily scaled it, running under its enormous body.

The monster tried to stretch its neck to reach her, but the carrion couple bit its neck at the same time.

With one movement, the 'brachiosaurus' threw them to the edge of the raging river. The couple slid to the ground, their skin grazed by the rocks.

"No!" Anne screamed in concern.

Fortunately, they managed to catch themselves halfway, avoiding falling into the water. Panting heavily, they struggled to their feet.

Anne sighs in concern, but is surprised by a kick from the brachiosaurus.

In the most pain she has ever felt in her life, the girl screams at the top of her lungs. She falls to the ground, bouncing before being grabbed by Yothaka. The predator tries to pull her to her feet, but the girl only screams even more in pain.

"Aaaahhrrr!" Anne grits her teeth. Her backpack may have been slightly damaged by the impact, but she can feel that at least some bones have been broken. Speaking of the backpack, it's now ripped, more torn than Anne's skin.

The brachiosaurus's eerie smile appears again, its body bare of a scar or bite. Slowly, it approaches the trio.

Anne... Anne has lost hope now.

The girl, instead of just crying, growls at the couple as a final challenge.

The monster makes a sound similar to an evil laugh. Its neck glows with intensity. It's going to breathe fire again.

It bent its neck to their level as it approached. The first flames emerged from the sides of its mouth, like a warning of what was to come.

Was this their end? The trio thought. Killed by a monster shaped like a long neck?

As the thing approached, Anne felt something fall from one of the holes in the backpack.

Anne stood there when she saw a purple ball similar to a candy with a label that read: pull for a very clean bath.

A bath bomb... She had forgotten she had bought it.

With difficulty and Thahan's help, she crouched down to pick it up.

Anne looked at the monster with its mouth open and then at the bath bomb. She looked at the bath bomb and then at the monster's mouth, and so she repeated until a firefly lit up in her head like a light bulb.

Anne sighed sadly before whispering, "I wanted to use this on a special occasion, especially when I'm with my family."  She glared at the damned long-necked creature. "But you know what? That doesn't matter, at least not right now." With difficulty, she pulled a racket from her backpack.

As the armored brachiosaurus was about to fire, the human screamed with hatred:

"So... Eat this shit! Son of a bitch!"

Anne used the bomb tag and with the racket threw it straight into the monster's mouth.

The monster reached its mouth and instinctively swallowed the strange object. The glow and its throat. Smoke escaped from its lips, while its cheek swelled.

Suddenly, a lilac and purple glow appeared on its throat and belly. The trio's eyes narrowed as they watched its belly and helmet's eyes swell like balloons.

The monster stood on two paws to try to stabilize its weight. Its neck stood incredibly straight, its head pointing to the sky.

Parts of its skin and armor were found, and bloody soap ran down its face like a faucet.

A beam of crimson soap shot from its mouth like a geyser. Its eyes and belly exploded from the pressure. The large herbivorous dinosaur's ribs were exposed, its guts, organs, and... Wires? Wires fell to the ground.

Blood sprayed onto the trio.

When the soap geyser reached the clouds, the monster stopped firing, falling dead on the ground at the trio's feet.

Blood fell like rain, painting the human and the dinosaurs red. And it's paying some of the price for the fire.

Anne, Yothaka, and Thahan blinked.

Yothaka licked the blood, spitting when she tasted the soap.

Thahan looked like he was having a war flashback. His left eye twitched, a strange, trembling smile appearing.

Anne sniffed the air, sighing with satisfaction at the scent. "Good lavender smell. The money I saved was really worth it." "Even with the blood, this thing still smells good!"

Anne shook her head. When did she start to become so desensitized to blood? Oh, right. It was when Thahan started taking me hunting.

Okay, enough thinking about that, let's get to the important part!  Anne looked at the corpse of the armored monster.

She observed the wires, a mechanical-looking organ among the creature's organs. Small particles of sparks flickered. Looking more closely, she realized this thing had rubbery skin, or so it seemed to her, along with real flesh.

This is artificial...

Her eyes widened.

This thing was some kind of cyborg or something! In her many months, or years, she still wasn't sure how long she'd been here. She'd seen all kinds of animals and dinosaurs, but one like this?

If a psychopathic cyborg robot dinosaur exists, it means there's technology in this world. Very advanced technology, apparently.

"Who was the lunatic who created you?" she asked to no one in particular, watching the blood drip from the corpse, its tongue hanging out.

Anne tilted her head, seeing a strange scar; it appeared to be a symbol drawn on the flesh of the monster's tongue.  It was three dots at the top and one dot at the bottom, all connected by lines.

The couple looked at the symbol curiously. Anne clenched her fists.

I think I know what I'm going to hunt after I find my best friends.

Crack.

The trio's eyes widened.

Crack.

Oh, shit.

The ground crumbled, quickly and violently absorbed by the water, along with everything on top of it—that is, the trio and the corpse.

They didn't even have a chance to escape.

Anne tried with all her might to dig herself out of the rushing river, but time and again it drowned her.

Yothaka tried to swim to her daughter, but she was suddenly submerged by the corpse's leg.

Thahan managed to spot Anne's silhouette from beneath the murky waters. Thahan spotted a log and quickly used it to propel himself to her.

Even in pain, he bites the human's collar and pulls her up. When they surface, Anne quickly gasps for air.

"Yothaka! Thahan, where is she?!" she asks as the carnivore tries not to sink. With her eye, she sees a split in the river into a large mass of earth, rocks, and trees.

They are swept to the right along with the corpse. Yothaka emerges on the left side. She screams for her mate and daughter.

On the other side, Anne can spot her among the trees.

"Yothaka!" Anne screams and points to her. The male tries to swim toward her, but the river is stronger.

The female screams in a reassuring roar, telling Thahan to ensure he and his daughter survive! That everything will be okay!

As she moves out of his sight, she roars, saying she will find them, no matter what!

"Aaaaarrrraaaarr! / I love you!"

Thahan let out a groan of pain.

Anne was about to scream, but was silenced when she saw a silhouette approaching from the corner of her eye.

A tsunami, with the corpse and several tree debris, descended upon them both.

And those were the last things she remembered before everything went black.

On the sandy shores of a small sandbar lie the bodies of Anne and Thahan. They are still breathing and in good condition. Well, almost in good condition. They are covered in wounds and cuts, but alive.

A huge shadow falls over the human's body. The Cyclops smiles.

I found you.

Gently, he grabs the human's torso. Just as he is about to leave, a groan makes him stop.

"Aaaáarrr... nnneee..." Thahan, still unconscious, growls. The Cyclops looks sympathetically at the smaller carnivore and walks away, disappearing into the shadows of the trees.

"Hey, someone's hurt here!"

Anne, half-conscious, heard someone scream. It sounded like a little girl's voice.

"Oh my—Polly, go get Grandpa!"

That sounded like a boy's voice. Maybe younger than me? She heard the girl back away as the boy approached.

"Her clothes, and that symbol on her shirt... Is she some kind of noble?" he asked in a whisper.

"Sprig!" shouted an old man's voice. "Oh my—so it was true?! I thought you were joking!"

"I told you it was true!" The little girl whimpered.

Anne felt the old man pick her up and lift her like a baby. "Wow! She's heavy."

Hey!

"What happened to her, Grandpa?" the younger boy asked with concern.

"If you have to guess, I'd say it was the ape-men," he replied.  Anne heard a faint note of hatred in his voice. "But those savages don't usually release their victims, especially if they're women." He growled at that last part.

"You think it was the soldiers from... the tower. And... And what they did... You know... to her?"

"Did they do to her?" The little girl asked with a hint of innocence.

"No... This is wild, Hmmmm..."

"It could have been a flying dragon!" the little girl suggested.

"It's possible. Okay, let's get her inside." The old man moved with the girl in his arms. "Let's help her, and then we'll ask her. Is she still able to talk..." He whispered that last part.

Author: Wow! I wrote a lot, didn't I? Hehe, I'm sure I translated a lot of things I wrote wrong or simply translated something I wrote wrong 😅.

Just as a heads up, I think I wasn't very accurate when it came to describing the animals' appearances.

Myself, for those of you who are already my readers, you already know I'm not very good at describing the characters' appearances... To tell you the truth, I'm not even good at writing, but I'm trying!

You're trying really hard, only if it's for @$#@! It's better if you use an artificial intelligence to help translate and correct your mistakes, because this is shit!

Shut up!

Shut me up!

Anyway... Oh right, a lot of things here are being described from Anne's perspective and knowledge of dinosaurs, which in this case is very little. And also from the perspective of the animals themselves.

So even though I'm better at describing their appearance, Anne will still use certain references to try to describe the dinosaurs from her perspective.

And I'll try, if I continue this story, to increasingly blend the humor and violence of both series more carefully.

There are a lot of things I think I did right and wrong in this first chapter, but I'm sure that if it's not me, someone else can use this as a basis, or simply use this first chapter to continue their own version.

Just another warning: the violence and tone of the stories I've written depend solely on the mix of series/mangas/comics and films I use for the crossovers. Generally, I've tried to create harmony in the fanfic.

I prefer worldbuilding! I find it fun and more interesting.

So, it will be rare to have a fanfic of mine where a character from another series ends up in another series, or something like that.

I might have some chapters featuring AUS and OCs, which will also be for public use, as well as the chapter or concept of this story. There's no way to stop anyone from using it.

Well, things like violence, gore, R-rated content, and basically anything of the sort will only be used if I think it fits the story's theme; otherwise, I'll try to avoid it. At the very least, they'll only be mentioned or hinted at, either subtly or very explicitly.

Things discarded from this first chapter:

In the fight against the crazy brachiosaurus, I planned for Anne to use the power of calamity to summon dinosaurs for help. It was discarded because it was a last-minute idea.

Sasha and Grime were going to appear in a sort of post-credits scene.

Cyclops was going to fight the crazy brachiosaurus; it was discarded because I didn't think it was time to show the guy in full.

The trio of pterosaurs were going to be the color of the crystals in the calamity box. It was another last-minute idea.

There was going to be a scene of King Andrias seeing everything through the other brachiosaurus, but it was discarded due to some changes during production.

And originally, the Brachiosaurus was supposed to be a giant fire creature, like the Viking villain from Primal. The idea was scrapped because I thought it was too early to introduce such a powerful creature right away.

The dinosaurs were supposed to talk to Anne. It was scrapped because I wanted to try to keep the story as silent as possible so it would be somewhat similar to Primal.

Species that appear in this chapter, in case you're curious:

(1) Ornithomimus
(2) Siamraptor suwati
(3) Compsognathus
(4) Dimorphodons
(5) Diabloceratops
(6) Carcharodontosaurus
(7) Koolasuchus
(8) Diplodocus

The Brachiosaurus isn't 100% a dinosaur; in fact, it's not even a Brachiosaurus. I won't give much information about it.

What is your opinion about this chapter?

Chapter Text

False Smile, Pilot Chapter: Unease.

Warning: the chapter you are about to see was intended to be the Halloween special and is a rushed version of the initial pilot chapter.

I'm only posting it because I feel someone might take this story and make something better.

Unease, that's the feeling everyone experiences upon arriving in Gravesfield. It's something the inhabitants have been accustomed to since ancient times, but it seems that sometimes even they know something is wrong.

Somewhere far from the city, a small, simple wooden house, made of love, with an empty garage. All the windows are boarded up. A little light seeps through the cracks.

It's a beautiful sight at night.

Inside the house is a man, no more than 30 years old, with black hair and beard, a plaid shirt, blue jeans, and brown leather boots stained with mud and red liquid.

Just like his body. Also, when you're covered in open wounds, it's hard not to stain them red, especially the wall he's lying against.

There's a gun at his feet, but what good is it if, because of his fingers, he can't shoot? He can't even hold it.

Ghrrr.

He looks at the door through the barrier of furniture, managing to see the doorknob moving.

"Dad, Dad, open the door."

The voice... it was a little girl's voice, his little girl.

"Dad, it's dark out here, I'm scared!"

Ghrrrrrrr!

"I'm sorry about your fingers, it was an accident!" The daughter started pushing the door, turning the doorknob harder. "Seriously, Dad, I'm scared!"

The father clenched his teeth. He held back tears as much as possible. From pain and...

The girl fell silent, replaced by another voice.

"Darling," a mature woman's voice pleaded sweetly. "My little piece of honey, open the door."

You son of a bitch! Stop it.

"Stop it..." the father begged, his voice becoming tearful. "Please... Stop..."

"Just open the door, darling. Everything will be alright and-"

The father lost his patience. He was tired of this game.

"You can open it, you demonic creature! What are you waiting for? I saw what you did, so stop playing around and come get me!"

Silence.

Thump! All the furniture is destroyed when the door is suddenly forced open; luckily, not a single piece hits him.

Out of the corner of his eye, not far away, is a photo of a redhead girl wearing a striped shirt and a blue skirt, smiling alongside a black-haired girl wearing the same outfit but in inverted colors. Both are 14 years old.

Looking up, he sees in the photo the perfect image of the redhead girl, his daughter.

"Hi darling~" the creature says in a sensual tone, using his wife's voice in his little girl's body. "Or should I call you daddy~? Maybe... hmmm, my dear sexy lumberjack~?" She asks, taking small steps towards her 'father'.

Repulsive.

Tears streamed down his face, filled with disgust, sadness, and anger as he watched his little girl's face staring at him in such a... disgusting way.

She only stopped when she was right on top of him and crouched down to look him in the eyes. He felt her hand on his cheek, caressing it tenderly.

"Huh?"

"You're a good man," she held his face, looking at him lovingly. This is disgusting. "I didn't mean to do this, you know?" He didn't answer, just looked at her with a frown. This made her laugh.

"How long has it been?" he asked, making her raise an eyebrow only to smile as she understood what her father meant.

"Since the hospital, when they were born," she replied with a smile revealing abnormally sharp teeth.

The father's eyes widened in horror before he began to sob. How could he not have noticed?!

Seeing her father cry like a child, the expression of a smile turned to something akin to pity. She hugged his head, making him cry even harder.

"I... I really love you and the girls," he felt something wrapping around his body. "Every day has been wonderful," the girl's body was growing, he could feel her arms increasing in size, squeezing his head tightly. His body also felt a strong squeeze.

"I love you both so much..." her voice distorted. The father felt the squeeze only increase to the point of hearing bones crack. "I love you so, so much," she repeated over and over. The father felt something drip onto his head.

"Dell... you're a good man... a good man... a good man..." he couldn't even hear anymore thanks to the sound of bones and his own choking. So much blood in his mouth that he could no longer scream or cry.

She squeezed and crushed, squeezed and crushed, squeezed and crushed, squeezed and crushed until...

Crack!

"My beautiful sculptor~?..."

...
...
...

"What chapter are you on?" Sitting in a tree, Amity looks up from her book and sees a girl with slightly dark skin painted on one of the branches, her hair a deep brown, almost black, tied in braids. She's wearing a fluffy sweater with a bear design, denim shorts, and red shoes.

The noceda, the strange Latina girl, or that's how the rich girl sees her.

"Huh?"

The strange girl laughs. "I asked, what chapter are you on?"

"Ahhh... chapter 24," Amity replies nonchalantly, returning to her reading.

"Cool!" The green-haired girl is startled by the noceda's sudden appearance right beside her. She laughed, which annoyed her. "Hehe, sorry."

"Okay..." she accepts the apology, still angry, before returning to her reading.

"Wow, it's the story of the white dragons!" "This part is so cool! Did you know that—"

"Shhhhhh! I'm reading! Either you shut up or get out of here!"

"Oh... okay! If not, I'd rather read in silence too," the girl rubbed the back of her neck.

"Oh... okay! If not, I'd rather read in silence too," the girl rubbed the back of her neck.

Amity looked at her with narrowed eyes, returning to reading her book.

"You're full of playdough and old books."

Amity's eyes widened, she slowly turned her head towards the Latina girl as if another head had grown.

"I like that," said the girl, not caring about her gaze.

Before Amity could freak out, a woman called the girl.

"LUZ! LUZ! It's time to go home!" The woman called, she looked a lot like her daughter, only with glasses and short hair, wearing a coat on a sunny day. She couldn't see clearly, but she saw a small baby clinging to the woman's chest.

LUZ stood up and turned to Amity, "Bye, friend!" She said goodbye with a radiant smile before running off.

Amity quickly stood up and shouted, her face red, "I'm not your friend! You weirdo!"

"Not yet, but you will be!"

She groans in frustration, sitting angrily on the floor as she watches Luz chatting excitedly with her mother.

Amity isn't very good at reading lips, especially at this distance, but it seems the girl is very happy, something about the baby.

It seems something the girl said surprised the woman because immediately afterward, mother and daughter turned towards her with different expressions.

The daughter looked at her with a glare that would burn anyone and, combined with her smile, turn people to dust.

She looked like a poker face.

However, it was the mother's look that left her... uneasy.

The woman seemed to be looking at her with... pity and sorrow? She swears she saw the woman's lips moving, asking for something before she turned and left.

When her mother said they were moving to a less urban town, Amity wasn't very happy. Leaving behind friends, favorite places, and shops—but her opinion and that of her siblings didn't matter, so why try?

At first, she thought it would just be a boring little town, but over the years everything just seemed to get stranger.

This led Amity to explore the town's library and museum. And she saw a lot.

Murders, disappearances, reports of strange creatures, animals acting abnormally, unidentified objects, cursed rituals, and a massive hatred of witches.

Or a fugitive murderer found naked, stuck like a pig on a spit in a tree.

Even military personnel showed up in town, only to disappear in a day.

Gravesfield increasingly resembled the Stephen King books she read in secret from her parents.

Amity decided to investigate because it seemed the city law wasn't interested, and this lack of interest also helped her in her investigation since no one intervened.

The first few years were difficult and incredibly boring, but it was all worth it. Everything connected to one of the most influential families in the city, the Noceda family. For their convenience, her parents wanted her and her siblings to get close to their children, to force a friendship. And thanks to this, she obtained a lot of information about them.

Amity will never thank her mother for this.

The Nocedas moved from some city in Central America right around the time of the witch hunts, and this served them well because they made their name by making piles and piles of bodies of supposed witches. They said they made bonfires so large that the clouds of ash from the charred bodies could be seen in neighboring cities.

Since no one outside of Gravesfield knows about this yet, it's something she's researching, something to do with the city's mayor, she theorizes.

The Green Dark family of heroes, currently composed of 6 people.

Victor Noceda, the eldest of the family, currently out of town. A quiet guy, the quietest of the family, he's cool.

Lucia Noceda, the second of the family and a certified punk accused of many things in the city, but only the most minor ones like: harassment, assault, abuse, vandalism, theft, trespassing, among other crimes that are covered up by those who should protect us or simply ignored by the local population. It's just another day for them.

Every day she prays that neither she nor her siblings are left alone with her.

Luz Noceda, the third of the family, is a radiant girl with the softest skin Amity has ever had the pleasure of touching. A smile that captivates all the inhabitants, even Odalia. With almost insane creativity, she likes to express herself through art, the problem is that her art borders on terrorism, especially chemical and biological terrorism.

Amity still feels the snakes on her clothes.

Ah! And she's definitely not in love with her, no! She's just using her to get more information, that's all, so stop asking.

Vee Noceda, the fourth and youngest of the family, she hasn't managed to find out anything other than that she was born with two teeth. Currently, her "friend" said she's already starting daycare.

She's a cute little girl, but still as suspicious as everyone else.

Camila Noceda, the matriarch of the family who always wears a different coat even in summer, Amity already has a suspicion as to why. Every time she saw the woman, she noticed she was always covering her body as much as possible as if she were hiding something, which she actually was.

One day, while watching the house from atop a gutter, she saw Camila changing clothes through one of the windows, noticing that the woman's body was covered in scars and bandages. At first, Amity thought it was domestic violence, but the cuts on very specific parts of her arm and a mark on her neck made her rethink.

She never thought such a sweet and kind woman would try to do this. What have you been through, Camila?

And her father... it's very rare to see him in person, and she has almost nothing about this man besides his face. She doesn't even know his name.

But she is Amity Blight, and she won't give up her obsession with uncovering every secret in this town! Even if no one outside this town believes her.

She will kill this restlessness once and for all. Fuck her mother, fuck Lucia, and a big fuck you to senior year!

Thanks to the guy at the museum, she'll finally have something, solid proof.

After witnessing so much macabre shit, she'll know the origin of it all.

But first, she has to feed the ghost.

After hours of walking at night with a flashlight, the girl with purple hair and pale skin finally arrived at her destination: a large, smooth rock in the middle of a hill.

Approaching the stone, she saw something carved into it: a lock in the shape of a sea serpent. Luckily, Amity was so desperate that she had desecrated one of the Noceda tombs just to quell her restlessness.

The key, a golden sea serpent with robin eyes. As she inserted and turned the key, she listened with joy as the gears moved, revealing a dark corridor.

Even with the light of the flashlight, she couldn't see the end of the tunnel; even so... she plunged into the darkness, unaware that something had entered with her.

People say that at the end of the light there's a better place, but those people lie. At the end of the tunnel, Amity found what can only be described as a prison of thousands of corridors of cages carved into the rocks, with the only illumination being strange orbs—devices that floated like fireflies. It would have been beautiful if it weren't for one detail.

The dirty, poorly dressed elves inside the cages were all so silent, they didn't even ask to be freed. They just stayed in the corners, right in the corners of the walls. She tried to think of something for them, but none of them answered. Perhaps because they didn't speak the same language? She didn't know, so she chose to keep walking and maybe find a way to free the elves.

From their prisons, the elves came as if something they knew very well. They silently followed the girl above the cages, some of them clasped their hands, praying for the purple girl.

The thing began to shrink in size as it got closer to the purple girl until...

"Mew." Looking back with a start of surprise, Amity sees a white cat with golden eyes.

"Ghost? How did you get here?! You scared me!" She shouts before calming down. She rubs her eyes, "You shouldn't be here, little one."

"I say the same, but I'd be lying."

The purple girl opens her eyes, searching for the source of the voice, but all she sees is that the cages are now covered by red tarps with sea serpent emblems. No sign of the voice, just a cat that...

"You're smiling..." the cat tilts its head with an unnatural smile. Amity slowly began to walk backward.

Suddenly, Ghost's body began to tremble and distort grotesquely. Its fur was replaced by a white and purple skin, smooth as an eel. Its neck and snout stretched, enormous teeth emerged. Its legs disappeared, but its arms grew along with its claws. Gills similar to those of some amphibian species emerged from the sides of its head. Its tail was large and thin, ending in a green caudal fin. The cat's eyes were quickly replaced by golden amphibian eyes.

What was once a white cat was now a purple and white sea serpent dragon with a human smile.

All this transformation happened in seconds before the purple girl's eyes. The creature's smile widened as it saw the paralyzed human with her mouth squeezed shut, and that expression was so cute... Like a cat before a snake.

Before Amity could even try to run, her path was already blocked by the creature's body. There was no way out. She was trapped in a prison of muscles, claws, and teeth. The creature's head approached her chest and pressed against part of her body. The purple girl felt the soft skin on her hands and neck as the creature gave a strong blow to her clothes, seemingly pleased because it began to purr like the cat it used to be.

Was this what Luz's family was hiding? Was this why the elves were imprisoned? To be food for the family's pet.

Amity thought she was going to die when the creature rose to face her, she thought that everything she had studied had been in vain until that malicious smile transformed into a... loving smile? The serpent's hands carefully grasped her head.

"You're full of playdough and old books, with a light touch of freshly baked apple pie," said the creature in a distorted voice, but one Amity recognized.

With her eyes tightly closed, she asked, "LUZ? No, it can't be..."

It has to be like the thing from the otherworldly riddle, yes, it has to be that!

But what if it really is her? There's only one way to find out.

Before she could ask something only her friend would know, the creature had already spoken.

"You play with Play-Doh when nobody's looking... and write fanfiction about the good witch Azura. Is that what you were going to ask?"

Amity swallowed hard, putting on her bravest face in the face of fear, "Did you read my mind with some strange power, or did you just know that because you were pretending to be a cat?"

The creature laughed bravely. "Still don't believe me? Then tell me. Have you ever seen luz and Ghost in the same place? Have you ever seen me at home when I was spying on my mother changing clothes?~"

Luz received only silence and saw the red face of the girl in purple in response.

"Okay... let's say you're Luz, why are you revealing yourself to me?" She looked around at the covered cages. "I suppose it was you who made me come here, so why? Are you going to kill me here? Are you going to lock me in a cage too?"

"It's... almost," Luz replied playfully. "But it's also a prize for you, kitten~."

A prize? Her tail wagged as she noticed the interest in the purple girl's eyes.

"Ah?"

"Answers, isn't that what you so desperately want? To quell this restlessness within your mind."

Her gaze was all she needed as an answer.

"You know, a long time ago my kind had to move from our 'homeland' because of a tyrannical and cruel emperor who ordered an extermination campaign. We weren't monsters, Amity, but the Golden Emperor saw us as a threat for devouring witches' magic."

Magic! Amity's eyes widened in surprise.

"Yes, magic and witches are real, just like many other things." Luz continues her story. "We basilisks were almost massacred by them. However, in a desperate measure, my ancestors performed a ritual to flee to other worlds, and we ended up in your world, Amity." She strokes the purple-haired girl's hair. "Of course, it was difficult to adjust until we found a small town where the men, old and young, had been massacred by other humans. The women didn't hesitate to give every part of themselves to have their revenge. To them, we were the dragons who came to purge the evildoers and avenge their pain, so my people took this opportunity to make a deal to increase our numbers..." Luz licks her lips.

For some reason, Amity felt a chill down her spine.

"You know, when we finalized our agreement, it was their turn, and thanks to that, we discovered many things... first, the gestation period of a human hybrid was shorter than that of any other species, and second, that witches were also a problem here, so..." she glances at the cages before returning to the human. "So we've been encouraging witch hunts among you, sometimes stockpiling a little food. But between us, I'd prefer something else, but it's become a family tradition, so what can I do? Besides, as you humans say, it's just historical justice. You understand, right?" She laughed. "I think that's it, I'm not very good at remembering many details of this story, my other mother is a woman at this."

Amity didn't know what to say. Other worlds, shapeshifting monsters, magic, exterminations and... wait...

"other... mother?"

"That's an advantage of shapeshifting, something you'll discover soon."

"What?" The girl shuddered, the serpent's body coiling around her tightly, making her scream.

"Every clue, every piece of information, every case placed for you to follow like a curious cat until this day, the day of our union. My mother's ritual really works well."

"What the hell are you talking about?! Let me go, you stupid snake!" The girl thrashed about, trying to break free. Useless. "Let me go, you sick bitch!"

"Oh, little kitty, you're just like my mommy when she met my mother," how can anyone talk about that as if it were romantic! But of course she talks like that, she's a monster! "When we unite, my mommy will tell you all the secrets the world has to offer, my little kitty."

Luz licked Amity's face affectionately, "So, is that enough to kill this restlessness?"

She wanted to scream, she wanted to hit, but Amity only wanted to cry, and so she did.

"Shhhhhhh, no need to cry, I won't hurt you. I don't want them to see you like this, a leader's wife shouldn't cry in front of her family."

"It's too late, sister." Amity heard a voice accompanied by an irritating laugh she knew very well.

Lucia.

Through tears, Amity saw another basilisk perched above Luz's shoulder. It was smaller than her sister, its skin was almost pale pink, and it had earrings on one of its gills, and of course, the damned orange cap.

Lucia gave her a shitty smile. Behind the noceda on the cave ceiling, Amity saw several other basilisks, all with wide grins on their faces.

"Hehehe, welcome to the family, little kitty~."

Amity finished writing the penultimate chapter of her book: Gravesfield, smile.

She flexes her arms, stretching. A cry makes our dear redhead writer get up and go to a door with cute decorations.

Upon entering, she goes to the crib, looking inside she sees the little thing with brown skin, dark hair, and a chubby, tearful face wearing an otter sweater. Her little bundle of joy.

Very similar to the fake skin of the monster she once thought she loved.

Her fists tremble as she tightens her grip. Sometimes she only thinks about... about...

With a sigh, she prepares herself and picks the little thing up. The thing clings tightly to her chest, as if at any moment it might disappear.

Amity is ashamed of sadness, knowing very well the reason for such behavior.

It's not her fault for being born...

It's not your fault for what your mother did...

"It's not your fault for existing..."

Congratulations to those who read this to the end 🫡.

Oh, this was difficult to write mainly because of the concepts, scenes, and acts that were eliminated.

There's the scene of a Titan corpse beneath the city, which was replaced by the "stone prison."

A bear killed in an abnormal and brutal way, its corpse hanging from a tree, its flesh half-devoured.

The opening scene was supposed to show our favorite Noceda's mother meeting Camila. Speaking of her, Camila was going to have a conversation with Amity, telling her many things about the city.

There was a scene I excluded because I thought it would be a bit excessive, and for other reasons, which is a scene showing two girls taking advantage of another girl or boy in a non-consensual way.

This story was probably going to be the first one I'd ever written to actually depict a scene of sexual abuse, but I decided to remove it because I don't feel I can convey that scene in a way that doesn't seem fetishistic. I also don't feel comfortable including it.

I really like people who can write scenes with this kind of content in a way that makes the reader think, especially if the victim is male. It's rare for me to find fanfiction with this focus that isn't just pure porn. It's rare if the victim is a man, and even rarer if the aggressor is a woman.

If I were to actually write this story, Amity would probably be the protagonist. Besides the basilisks, other monsters would appear or be mentioned throughout the chapters, but the basilisks would still be the focus of this almost body horror tale, since I wanted to create something similar to a mix between Alien and It.

And if, for some reason, I write a story about sexual abuse, know that this kind of thing doesn't only happen to women... men are also subject to it.  But, as I said, I'm someone who believes I can address this topic without seeming fetishistic;  I'm not even a writer like the creators of Alien.

And if you didn't know, the xenomorph is an allusion to abuse, yes, kind of strange, isn't it? If you research it, I'm sure you'll find better explanations than mine on the subject.

Besides, this concept that the basilisks in the Owl House universe can reproduce with other species isn't new within the worlds of fanfiction; the problem is that it only happens in pornographic fanfiction...

But it really crossed my mind to maybe transform the basilisks into an extraterrestrial species, but I still prefer them as they are.

Although I really want to do a story like that with these concepts of an unsettling valley of a predator that lives among its prey with a fake smile, it seems fascinating to me.

So, tell me what you thought, what you liked, what you considered unnecessary, and how to improve the story. I'll be happy to read your comments.

Notes:

I hope you enjoyed the chapter ☺️.
