Notes:

Hello and welcome to another story of mine!! I've been working hard on this omegaverse type of Taekook fic, the dynamics are a bit different in this story when it comes towards the ranking of wolves and their roles. In this story wolves have dominance through their vocal "tones" which is a way of how they speak; they use this to control their opponent. Other than that, everything is pretty simple and will be explained throughout the story!

Much love, enjoy!!

Chapter 1: So forth

Chapter Text

I just wanted to put a warning in advance that there will be heavy topics in this fanfiction. (Ex: sexual abuse, fear and violence) if this is triggering, please procced with caution. This is a A/B/O based Taekook fanfiction that includes the world of alphas, betas, deltas, and omegas. Please feel free to ask any questions if you are confused. Also, male omegas are intersex in this story, if that bothers you, do not read.

Enjoy.

Lost.

That’s what was happening to him.

Bleary doe eyes, clouded and dazed, long brown material of his skirt torn and dirty at the edges, omega Jeongguk stumbled through the miles of forest he does not recognize.

All that can go through his foggy mind is that this scent is not dangerous.

His nose is what controls his whole mind right now, if he smells safe, he’ll keep walking. If his instincts flare up, or a badbadbad scent hits his nose, he’ll run and run until he passes out, waking up with either the stars above or blue skies and doing it all over again.

He’s been doing this for about two weeks now, or so he thinks, he can’t really process anything right now. The omega just knows he has to keep moving, get away from all that badbadbad that his brain sometimes remembers and it never fails to make his eyes squeeze shut, whimpers escaping his chapped, teeth-bitten lips.

The scenery is beautiful around him, trees that almost kiss the dreamy clouds above, the sweet serenade of birds that chirped tunes to him throughout the day, or the damp ankle height grass that constantly caressed his mud-covered bare feet; such a pretty picture that the omega completely ignored, merely running on adrenaline and fear.

However, his body was starting to drain, his omega genetics weren’t made for constant travel. Although he is a wolf, his stamina is amazing, but he needs food, substance. Jeongguk doesn’t even remember the last time he tasted the deep refreshing stream of water.

With his swaying body, limbs feeling heavier than a rock, Jeongguk sniffed, his mind far into feral antics and thoughts.

Food, food, I need food—where can I find food? I need to get somewhere safe, somewhere dark, warm, warm…I need something warm, everything is too bright, I need safety, comfort—help, I’m so scared, food food, home, home, I need—

Mind fumbling, the omega didn’t see the rock in front of him, his slow stumbling and walking having no chance standing against it. Jeongguk barely cried out when he fell hard to the dirt ground, but his body screamed at him.

Help, help! Need help! Someone, need someone! Warm, dark, safe, comfort, need, need, needneedneed—

Jeongguk startled slightly at something warm hitting his face and his body almost sighed in relief, finally something he needed, something warm to soothe him. But when the omega opened his eyes, his nose and mouth alerted him of a metallic scent and taste. Lowering his eyes down, Jeongguk saw blood slowly tickling out of his mouth, pungent in scent and color.

A verdant sight and just seeing it sent flashes through Jeongguk’s mind that he couldn’t control.

He’s seen a sight like this before; he’s been through this before.

No, no, no, blood is bad, can’t have blood, it reminds me of—

Jeongguk finally let out a cry, too rough and feeble to make any real noise, but it was so heartbreaking, it shattered the beautiful picture of serene natural beauty.

Dying, dying, I’m dying, blood means sickness, and sickness leads to death— is all Jeongguk’s instincts could scream and wail at him, urging him to get up and find some relief for himself but another part of him just whispered its defeat, sobbing for the comfort and warmth.

Lost.

Dying.

Jeongguk couldn’t even think if he was really dying, his brain was too foggy. His thoughts were screaming and crying at him, body not moving even if the omega tried to lift a limb. His body was done, too exhausted and out of it.

Just as he was about to close his eyes, his ears caught a sound creeping nearby.

Rustling, grass being stepped and pushed apart.

Jeongguk’s body immediately tensed, nose immediately picking up scents that sent fear so harsh and stifling to his heart that he almost passed out. These scents weren’t kin, weren’t ones he grew up knowing, but unfamiliar and unsafe.

And they were coming closer.

One scent was stronger than the rest, and Jeongguk’s body locked up in pure fear because his mind and body could recognize this type of scent right away.

The scent of an alpha.

Jeongguk couldn’t control his frenzied whimpers, cries escaping his lips as he tried to scramble away, limbs thrashing out as he tried dragging his body away from such a foul, stifling scent. His body was instinctively already wanting to just stay in place, unmoving, as he exposed his stomach to the true leader, a pillar of pure dominance and power.

Dragging his lead-filled limbs across the green grass did nothing to hide his appearance, if he was more aware and sober, Jeongguk would be smart and try to mask his scent so these unknown kin would not find him and kill him.

But his wishes were not answered because the quiet, firm steps only came closer and closer, no matter how hard Jeongguk tried to run away. His body was too exhausted, too weak to continue farther and in even worse shape to fight.

It’s not like Jeongguk could fight anyway.

When the scents were right behind him, Jeongguk’s mind was shut off, any clarity or consciousness has been shut down for a long time and he only knows he has to protect himself.

Growling, although pitiful and feeble, the omega turned around swiftly, baring his teeth to the three looming figures above him, thrashing and digging his sharp nails into the soft, soil ground, hoping his stance showed them he wasn’t one to fight against.

But to the three other wolves standing in front of him, the omega appeared like a lost pup who was thrown into the water, yowling and small, pitiful and untamed.

A tall woman with curvy hips crossed her arms, this move eliciting another weak growl from the thrashing omega. “This is the noise Namjoon-ah was hearing? I thought we might have a spy on our hands.”

“It might be a spy,” a smaller, burlier man stood to the side, arms crossed as well, his glowing green eyes staring straight at the omega with blank emotion. “Just because he looks frightened doesn’t mean it can’t be an enemy.”

“That’s why we have to take this omega in.” A deep authoritative voice spoke, one that belonged to the alpha and Jeongguk let out a pained cry, eyes blinking rapidly as he bent his head down, trying not to get enchanted by the alpha’s natural assertive and dominating voice. “We can’t leave him here to suffer, he’s on our territory.”

The alpha moved forward, arm reaching out to offer assistance to the terrified omega so he could stand up, but Jeongguk couldn’t see it like that, his feral mind was out of control and couldn’t process a basic motion.

His mouth opened instinctively, without any knowledge to Jeongguk, and a warbled stream of words poured out. “NO! PLEASE! Please! Do not hurt me! I-I’m so sorry! I’ll be good! Please, god, please don’t hurt me! I can’t stand it!! I’m sorry, I’m sorry!”

The alpha immediately froze, those words putting a heavy air around the three wandering wolves who all stared a look to themselves while Jeongguk wailed and sobbed into his hands, body struggling with the need to obey the dominance around him but also protect himself because this dominance and power is what got him here, what is causing the fog around his brain.

The woman spoke up then, softer this time. “Let me approach him, your scent is probably setting off this omega the wrong way.”

The alpha nodded, stepping back so the woman stepped forward to the wailing omega, and although her scent was a beta, it still made Jeongguk shrink into himself and bare his fangs, growls rumbling out.

“Please calm down, omega. We’re not here to hurt you. Can you answer a few questions for me? Why are you even out here? Did someone hurt you?” She tried asking, eyebrows furrowing when she noticed the omega was barely processing her words, Jeongguk’s eyes only focused on her movements, making sure she didn’t make a move at him first. “Can you…even understand me?”

The other wolf standing next to the alpha tsked roughly, eyes narrowing. “Noona, can’t you tell this omega is feral? Just look at his feet and clothes, this omega has been out here for more than a week, it’s lost in its mind and instincts. It’s best to leave it alone or it’ll attack you.”

The beta scoffed. “Well, we can’t just leave him here. We have to take him back to the medical house, he won’t survive out here with bachelor wolves out there always thirsty for blood.”

“He’ll come by force of course.” The other wolf merely stated in a bored tone, striding so quickly to the omega, no one had a chance to stop him.

The alpha tried to speak. “Rou, do not hurt him—”

Jeongguk barely had any time to defend himself, the wolf moved so fast to him, his body locked up and his eyes caught sight of the arm raising before hitting the side of his neck.

Finally, something dark wrapped around him.

Sweet, blissful sleep, even if it was forced.
