“You’re weak” A familiar, deep, glitchy voice spoke from above him.
He was faintly aware of footsteps approaching. “Just from one hit you’re on your knees.” 1x1x1x1x mocked, dragging his swords on the floor as he crept closer. “Whatever happened to your fighting spirit, oh great Telamon?” They tilted their head upwards to stare down at the weak form squirming.
“I...” He wheezed out, squinting up at the killer through quick blinks. His vision was swimming, barely able to make out the killer’s form and if they were standing still or creeping closer. “I’m bored” He chuckled (though it sounded like a sob) as blood trickled down his lips. “What’s the point, right?” His eyes were able to stay open long enough to see 1x1x1x1x tilt their head and take the remark into consideration.
Shedletsky had grew quite bored of the perpetuity of his life. What better way to break out of the repetition then to seek the help of 1x1x1x1x, who seemed to feel the same way?

1x turned her gaze upwards. “Why?” She asked, feeling a bit dumb. All of her regular sharp words were gone.
Telamon looked down, then back at her. It was a strange stance, almost guilty but not quite. Something about it seemed careful. His lips tensed against each other as he swallowed, and carefully opened his dry mouth to answer back, “It’s your 16th birthday today.”
1x’s eyes shot open. They had become half-lidded due to the warmth which had calmed her, but she was tense all over again. If she had hair on her body, it would all be standing up. “16th?” she said, tense. “It’s my 16th birthday?”
1x1x1x1 had never known how long she was stuck in the banlands for. After Shedletsky reveals her age, inadvertently revealing how long she was locked away, everyone is forced to recalibrate their existing prejudices against each other as the old dream of finding a way out of their hell is rekindled.
After all, if there’s a way in, there must be a way out.

Telamon nods and pointedly ignores their mistakes. The ring of fire cradling the admin’s head like a halo flares against the dry air. Scary. “You are well aware that this is unacceptable as Telamon’s pupil. Telamon trains you, yet you are insecure, is Telamon’s training insufficient?”
1x splutters, “Wha—no, no! Never, I just—“
“Mmm. Then, you have a complex. Victim complex? Inferiority complex?” Telamon taunts. 1x4 begins to contemplate mortality. However, once 1x musters the courage to glance up at his expression, he can see the admin’s lips slightly quirked up at the corners. “Tell Telamon, are you a victim?” He presses on, not hiding his amusement.
“A victim of your bullying,” 1x mumbles absentmindedly, causing the deity to perk up. Oh shit. “Wait—“
Telamon laughs. A full-on laugh. Sharp canines on full display. Golden eyes squint as he wipes a nonexistent tear from the corner of his eye.
