Summary
One year after Blu, the blue-ringed octoling of the Squidbeak Splatoon, returns from ending up across the multiverse, it’s time for the Grand Festival in Splatsville, where the idols have all gathered to perform and bring on the hype.
However, Pearl of Off the Hook has noticed that Blu is missing from the celebration that they promised to attend. When discovered that Blu has not been seen or heard from, each idol disappears one by one from their home reality.
As for Blu, they wake up with the established identity of someone else…from yet another universe. According to the man in the checkered suit, the game was rigged from the start.Oh, carp.
