He showed the two officers at the front his ID and they let him inside.

Five.Thunder shakes the soil they’re in as if it was an earthquake, and Tommy notes the tiniest, smallest, most subtle of flinches the soldier tries to withhold within his armor.
As small as it is, something easy to miss, Tommy doesn’t.

Wilbur looked up, trying not to cry as icy wind bit as his bare temples, tugging desperately at the string around his waist. He caught half a glimpse of the villain, enough to make his stomach flip. Puppeteer was perched on the edge of one of the stalls, strings strung over one of the strands of fairy lights to make a sort of pulley. The shrike villain saw him looking, and waved, darting out of sight.
