    So he disappears.
    And he goes back to the one place he thought he'd never see again. The one place he truly called home. The one place where it all started.
    He goes back to Tatooine, to his uncle's farm.

    Just laying low for a while, time for the Senate to forget him. Everything should be fine.

Otherwise, besides the malnourishment and fading bruises, he’s doing well for his age. It’s obvious that he’s very attached to you as well. So you and your partner need to keep doing what you’re doing because it’s working. Stability is the best thing for him right now. ” Luke explained with a smile.

    Din held a hand up. “There is no partner, just me.”

    “Well,” Luke pulled out a small notebook and pen from his many pockets and scribbled on it before ripping the sheet off and handing it to Din. “This is my personal number, please feel free to call me when you need any help with Grogu or if you have any questions about the diet that I’ve prescribed him.”

    Din simply nodded and tucked the piece of paper into his pocket. “Thank you, Luke.”

    Luke nodded with a smile. “Of course, anytime Mr. Djarin.”

    “Call me Din.”

    Luke Skywalker never knew his father, not really, but he did know his legacy, his downfall, and the way his father greeted the light upon death. Luke was also very aware that Skywalker men—well, they're just plain cursed, no matter which way you look at it.

    Now Luke is on a mission to reunite the Jedi in ways it should have been done before. Out with the old in with the new. Only his first mission goes a little sideways. Not having done any research, and completely leaving his traveling up to his droid, Luke and R2 wind up on the newly recovered planet of Mandalore face to face with the Mandalorian people and their new king.

    Except this king?? He's been expecting him? And now he wants him to what? Learn his ways and tell the stories of his people... Luke can do that... so long as he doesn't wind up getting murdered in the process.

    (This is an Omega-verse canon divergence story in which Luke tries to unite people with force abilities in a healthier way than in the past.)

Cara never expected Din to take care of her and Din never felt inclined to. Cara didn’t need Din for anything; every single facet of their relationship was the product of choice. They chose each other. They chose to cohabitate. They chose to have Grogu.

    Din’s not an idiot and he isn’t blind. Omegas are rarely so lucky. Very few people advocate for their right to choose anything, least of all where they’ll end up, and who with.

    He doesn’t delude himself into thinking that Luke is here of his own free will.

    Din isn't interested in expanding the Clan of Two he shares with Grogu. However, one band of slavers have something that catches his attention - a feisty Tooka hybrid who is as mysterious as he is beautiful. Din immediately takes him to be his consort, trying to earn his affection through kindness and patience. But the Tooka has endured terrible abuse at the hands of the slavers and his trust will not be given easily.

    As they navigate their growing feelings and adapt to the change each has brought to the others life, Din learns that there is more to his little Tooka than meets the eye...
