The clearness in his lungs, the weightlessness of his shoulders lasted but a fleeting instant, like how a feather falls off a bird's wings. So very light. And yet, like all things that fall, it will meet its end. It’ll collide on solid ground.

Phainon gets terrible nightmares that he can never remember but that changes when he meets Mydei. Sleep becomes easier, however that doesn’t mean they stop fully. They write songs together and life starts to become enjoyable for them both. Then, at some point, Phainon begins to remember what his nightmares are about. They’re all about him and Mydei. In a lifetime where Phainon loses him for good.
