While the plot and character of Gisela are heavily inspired by various Tomb Raider content, this is not a direct fanfic. It draws inspiration from other universes, such as the 1999 and 2001 "The Mummy" movies, and even Lovecraftian material such as "The Call of Cthulhu." It is also a slow-burn, but with intense payouts, and sexual innuendo throughout. The story follows Gisela and Tia (characters created by the 3D porn artist Blackadder), best friends who are close like sisters, and adventurers to say the least. They answer a mysterious "calling" that brings them to Egypt, and a horde of lascivious horrors await them below the sand.

Atticus and Ambrose are guardian angels, guarding two different humans. Atticus guards over a young woman named Avery, a Catholic nun who is very religious. Ambrose guards over Avery's nephew, Addison. He is a Pagan witch who worships Anubis, the Egyptian deity of death. This angers the other angels as word gets out that Ambrose has been watching over a witch and not a Christian, and Ambrose is punished for his wrongdoing by becoming a fallen angel.
