It's always been just Five.
After the world has gone to shit, and the separation of the orphanage—it's just been him.
And he's alright with that.
Until she came along.

Summary
This had to be a massive joke, a prank, anything but what it truly was, anything but what he could not accept. Diego had died decades ago for him due to the Earth’s apocalypse, something he’s still attempting to solve the cause of, but this brings another wave of trouble for Five to deal with. What he’s most shocked at is that they’re totally fine with offing Diego, the brother of a very appreciated ally. He was fundamentally, authentically, indubitably, whatever word he can throw into this mix, baffled. He could not believe his ears, or their audacity.
Everyone knew that Five’s family was dead, but the company being responsible for one of their deaths? Even more so than the apocalypse? That’d drive him insane.

Watch me be forever stuck on the first stage of grief.

Summary
Normality: noun- the condition of being normal; the state of being usual, typical, or expected.
All Five ever wanted was to be normal. And now he has it. A normal life. A normal job. Even a normal name. But then it is all jeopardized when his siblings walk back into his life, creating chaos, and threatening all that he holds dear in his new life. Will Five be able to be both versions of himself and still live a normal life?

Summary
A moment of peace was something Five could never afford.
No amount of blood sweat and tears could ever bring him to it, or even the blood sweat and tears from those around him.
He had to work for everything, time and time again. The smell of death and rot clung to him constantly, no matter how far into the past or future he seemed to travel.
That's why it was so liberating, to finally let go of the apocalypse and uncertainty of his future after Allison pushes the button.
Five was finally free.
At least, he thought he was.
(Or: Five Hargreeves is reincarnated as Izuku Midoriya, and decides to fuck up the timeline all over again.)

Summary
Five Hargreeves doesn’t leave the Academy when he’s 13. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t become an assassin.
In which Reginald had bigger plans for Five and doesn’t let him go quite so easily, and the Hargreeves come together in 2019 only to discover that preventing the apocalypse involves helping more than one sibling.
November 10, 2002.
In one world, Five Hargreeves gets fed up with his father and his father’s inane rules. He storms out the front door and jumps to a future where he spends the next four decades living with smoke and ash, isolation and death.
In another world, Reginald Hargreeves has plans for Number Five. In that world, Reginald appeases him, at least temporarily. The day that follows finds Five on the floor of his father’s office, a monocle sitting over his left eye, gasping through unbidden tears.
“How do we stop it?” he asks.
Reginald stares down at his son. “You will be my scalpel.”
And, like the proverbial road not taken, it makes all the difference.
(Or, depending on your perspective, hardly any difference at all.)

Summary
Five Hargreeves' arrival and journey through the apocalypse becomes the highest-viewed channel at The Commission. He’s the talking point over lunch, there are discussions of him during work, and the betting poll on his life sits pride of place in the Headquarters entranceway. But with his expert survival skills and his sharp intelligence, The Handler is keen to turn him into the perfect killing machine for the organisation. Even if that means doing some rather experimental modifications. Let’s just say that Five isn’t particularly happy with this arrangement.

Summary
Making his way towards a shitty motel, Five made a conscious effort to push his recent actions to the back of his mind. This was all a necessary evil so he could stop the apocalypse. All his marks would die in the apocalypse anyway. In the long run it worked out the same, Five reluctantly convinced himself. He suddenly paused when he saw his sister on the cover of a magazine. That wasn’t anything he wasn’t used to, since he’d worked in the time period of her fame several times now. But this was different... she was holding a baby. Holy shit.

The public can’t get enough of the Umbrella Academy, with their incredible powers and masks. But what the public doesn’t know is that the members of the Umbrella Academy are actually vampires.
Ever since he was young, there was always one blood that always seemed to call to him, one he craved above all others. He didn’t know what it was, but the very smell of Vanya’s blood stirred something dangerous inside him. Vampires aren’t meant to crave another vampire’s blood, but he needed her's.

Summary
Lingering outside the academy, Five knew he’d have to walk away. The commission would find out if he did anything stupid. Maybe he could just stay here for a while longer. The commission wouldn’t know he wasn’t just minding his business in a shitty motel. He’d been missing for two years in the time he was visiting. Five heard hissing boys’ voices, sounding like they were bickering - and then the noises of two sets of feet jumping down to the ground. He hastily shuffled up against a nearby wall, not wanting to cause the goddamn early apocalypse.

Summary
"She asked if I could bring food down to you instead."
"I don't see the food." Luther narrowed his eyes.
"Yeah, well," Other-Five shrugged, an amused smile playing on his lips. "She asked if I could, and I can. But I didn't really want to, so I won't."
"Amazing," Klaus breathed out in awe before looking to their own Five. "Same kind of pretentiousness, like what Z said!"
