Summary
Penelope was absolutely delighted to have her husband back. But she wished, more than anything, that it hadn’t taken this long.
Far away from Ithaca, the Fates spun the threads of life. Odysseus’ thread had been particularly interesting for them, but now they noticed something odd. The thread was knotted, the present time tied back to the start of his decade-long journey home. It now seemed like from then until he arrived back in Ithaca, there were two versions of Odysseus’ odyssey.
~
Odysseus found his mind wandering back to Penelope and Telemachus, his beloved son and wife. They were what he lived for, tried for, wished for, and fought for. His everything. And he would get back to them again. But first, he had to finish this war. Odysseus had to kill the infant Astyanax again. But this time, there would be no whining, no guilt. Odysseus would do whatever it takes to get home. This time, he was ready.
When Odysseus wakes up back in the Trojan Horse, he is willing to do whatever it takes to get home. Again. But this time, he knows what’s coming.

Summary
Tiresias, despite his intense guilt for not doing more for Odysseus and so many others, has somehow become precious to the messenger god, Hermes. Zeus though, has never liked their friendship. Neither has Athena, or Apollo, or Hera…
Ok, fine. The list goes on for actually quite some time. One day, when Hermes was discovered sneaking off to go visit the prophet, Zeus has had ENOUGH. Frustrated by the god's antics, which he had previously ignored, Zeus decides to give Hermes his first punishment; he is now stuck in the Underworld until Zeus needs him. He could still fly, and the gods could visit him as they pleased, but that's the thing... none of the gods would even know what happened to the beloved messenger. Also angered by the prophet he was often visiting, Zeus decides to put some salt in Tiresias's already painful wounds; he could no longer see the future and the past until Hermes leaves the Underworld. Now stuck without the only reason he didn't let himself rot away, Tiresias must face all the guilt he had pent up from the past. But, how can he do that when the one thing keeping him from not having to is the one thing he doesn't want to lose?

Summary
At seventeen, Telemachus refuses to live in Odysseus' shadow—he will stand beside him. He sails into the unknown, chasing whispers of his father’s name.
Captured in a distant land, Telemachus is thrown into the pit, where warriors fight for survival. There, a scarred veteran with a cold, knowing gaze stands tall beside him. Both use false names, hiding their pasts, but fate binds them.
They fight side by side, their bond growing with every battle. Blood stains the sand.
Only later, when the masks fall and the truth is revealed, will Telemachus realize: the warrior who fought beside him, the man who led him through fire—was Odysseus, his father.

Summary
So basically it's the original songs with changed lyrics to Penelope as the main character or the one who went to war while Odysseus is the malewife. Eurylochus' spot is change Ctimene while Polites stays the same (he's unreplaceable). It's probably not gonna rhyme as well as the original but me and my friend tried.

Athena’s call to action and the start of the voyage
Entry one, day one of our voyage to far-off lands. First I should probably explain how this all started.
This morning was like any other since Athena started mentoring me. I walked down to the woods, where Athena suggested we train so we don't catch the curious eyes of suitors. I had begun to wonder where she was when she appeared behind me. -

Summary
After Odysseus - the king of Ithaca- returns to find 108 men loitering his home, threatening to kill his son and rape his wife, Antinous is in for something special.
Instead of killing the leader of the suiters like the king intended, he let him live, slaughtering everyone he knew in a blink of an eye. Odysseus proposes a request to Athena. Since her father is still upset about the whole scandal of letting Odysseus leave Calypsos' island, the man offers Antinous to be sent to live with her as punishment for his crimes. A fitting one, the king would say.
Athena gets the God of Thunder to agree, the only suiter left blacking out unconscious only to awaken on a strange beach, a woman with darker skin looming over him, beads decorating her hair. Where was he?
And how the fuck did he get here?

But he still had his nightmares. Of course he did. And while being back on open sea with his crew wasn’t the standard setup, seeing everyone he had once loved was pain enough and he knew it would get worse.
Except, he never woke up. Instead he started to change things.
And oh, that was more terrifying than a nightmare ever could be.
Or: Odysseus from “I’ll Be Home With Frayed Feathers” by FictionForLife_NZ wakes up the day after his crew depart from Troy, despite having made it home to heal.

After all, he never learnt how to tone it down and now, he's starting to realize that some people might take his actions as further than he ever intended.
