Camille laughed, a high and airy thing. Robespierre? He leaned forward, and Maximilien could see the slight shiver to his frame and the snow seeping into his pants. How d-do you even spell that?
It wasn’t funny, Maximilien didn’t even think it could be classified as a joke—but Camille’s grin and light giggles rang about the overgrown garden and twisted through the blades of grass sticking out from the glistening snow and Maximilien felt as though he was letting the strange boy in front of him down by not joining in on his mirth.

Just as in the Convention, the club, so too Saint-Just’s voice suffused every corner of the studio. It curled warm and rich around the whorls of Maxime’s ear and settled in them like deafness. He heard nothing else, attuned to Antoine’s voice as Brount to the whistle.
Covering the period leading to the Fall of the Girondins to shortly after Marat's murder. Robespierre struggles with conflicting desires for peace and rest, while being no less committed to the Revolution. Rated M for the second chapter.

this AU is full of drama, slow burn and friendship. although it mostly focuses on the Saintspierre, all other characters get screentime and even own chapters. it's settet in todays Paris and focuses on studentlife-core.
when Robespierre comes to Paris to study, he not only gets to know the new city but also makes new friends. his acquaintance with Saint-Just almost distracts him from his ambitious goals, while Saint-Just begins to find out through Robespierre where his place in the world is.

Clinging to life and awaiting Madame Guillotine's blade in the cell that once housed his enemy, Marie Antoinette, he watches his country at war with itself and wonders if everything he did 'for the good of France,' was worth it.
WARNING: Swearing, mention of attempted suicide, mild descriptions of gore, flashbacks, and some scenes containing violence and possibly graphic detail. We have to keep it accurate to the French Revolution and the real Robespierre after all.

In honor of the 20th anniversary of 9/11, I have written a fic. This fic is dedicated to all who lost their lives in the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and to anyone with their loved ones killed by it.
This fic goes into intimate detail for 9/11, so if that is a trigger of yours, please refrain from reading this fic.
Four different stories are discussed, (although six were planned) about different historical figures and a fictionalized, but inspired by true events, stories about 9/11.
