Jayce’s heart is beating like crazy, thudding loudly in Viktor’s ear - he must be stressed about the upcoming progress day, that must surely be it.
“We should go to bed Jayce, so you can sleep off all the alcohol you’ve consumed.”
“Just-” He pauses, hugging Viktor tighter to his own body, as if he’s scared Viktor is going to disappear if he doesn’t. “Just let me have one more minute of this, please.” He says oh so softly, barely above a whisper.
It tears Viktor’s heart apart, he sounds so vulnerable in a way he hasn’t heard before. Once again he finds himself completely unable to deny Jayce anything he wishes for. If Jayce wants Viktor’s body next to his, he shall have it - no matter the hurt it inflicts on Viktor himself.
They continue dancing back and forth in a rhythm that syncs with the low rumble of Jayce’s humming. Viktor never wants to let go, even though he knows that this is not his to possess nor keep - and it never will be.
Or; Viktor offers Jayce a place to sleep after the first night they meet eachother and somehow Jayce never manages to move back out. Time goes by and it gets harder and harder for Viktor to deny his strong feelings for Jayce - even if it's eating him alive.
