Crowley nodded against his angel’s neck. “Mmm. Better. Not suicidal in the slightest.”
Aziraphale breathed another laugh. “That’s good to hear. More than good, that’s wonderful. I mean that.” He kept chuckling, as Crowley started peppering little kisses up and down his throat. “Crowley, that tickles…”
Crowley grinned. He’d been hoping to tickle Aziraphale through his ministrations. Excellent.
And, even more excellent…when he moved his leg to cuddle closer, he brushed against a certain hard length underneath the blankets. “Oh,” he slithered out, “looks like someone is having a very good morning.”

Summary
Aziraphale had discussed with Crowley several times, how his four main survival strategies had played out while he was being tortured: fight, flight, freeze, and fawn. Aziraphale had gotten quite skilled at recognizing them; and, at handling them. He could take a breath, give Crowley emotional space to recover, and gently coax him back toward the safety of their love.
But there was a fifth survival strategy, also starting with an F. A strategy which Aziraphale had never seen from Crowley before. The most primal mechanism of all, used when facing imminent death.

Summary
It should be a simple job. Hunt down one sheep-stealing wolf and get back in his lord’s good graces. It is extremely inconvenient the animal talks and has good arguments for why those are his sheep, thank you very much.
That he can turn into a man is every more inconvenient. Aziraphale isn’t sure what worse, the wolf with that voice or the man with no clothes.
(the wolf has Radio Crowley's voice which is extremely unfair to Aziraphale)

Aziraphale freed his hand from Crowley’s grasp for a moment, to stroke his love’s cheek. “Oh, Crowley. How I wish I could have spared you from it all. I wish my love had been a physical shield, to protect you from all unwanted touches.”
Crowley smirked sadly. “That would’ve come in handy.”
Aziraphale was startled to hear himself laugh for a moment at the comment. But when he stopped laughing, he thought he might cry, as the words he’d kept stuffed down for years burst out of him without warning: “Will you forgive me? For failing to protect you?”
Crowley’s brow furrowed. He stared at Aziraphale in silence for three seconds. Five seconds. Ten seconds.
When he did speak, it was a single, quietly-uttered word: “No.”

Summary
A crushing weight of look what you’ve done now constricted Crowley’s chest, as he realized how much the details of his memory had upset his angel. Even though Aziraphale had given him the permission to share this memory dredged up from his nightmare…they both hadn’t been careful enough.
Now, they were both traumatized. They were two broken heaps of ethereal/occult beings, huddled together under the horror of what that Prince of Hell had done. All they could do was cling to each other, and fall apart sobbing in each other’s arms.

Aziraphale’s lips parted, and the look of blatant shock on his angel’s face— visible for only the barest of moments before he steeled himself back to stony anger— made Crowley’s heart twist miserably. Never again, he vowed. Never again would Aziraphale go on thinking he ought to apologize for every fight they ever had, whereas Crowley’s temper was excused without exception. Aziraphale’s forgiveness would never be taken advantage of again. He’d sleep naked on consecrated grounds before he did it again.
