Summary
Aziraphale and Crowley’s first date was a disaster. He thought Crowley was rude and insufferable; Crowley thought Aziraphale was a sanctimonious bore. They agreed on one thing—never again.
Years later, Crowley is facing an ultimatum: marry or lose a massive inheritance. Out of options (and a bit too drunk), he texts the one person least likely to agree—Aziraphale.
Aziraphale, drowning in debt and on the verge of losing his beloved bookshop, isn’t in a position to refuse. A marriage of convenience might just be his best—if most ridiculous—solution.
It’s just business. Just a bit of paperwork, a few social events, and a whole lot of pretending. But between prying lawyers, suspicious friends, and unexpected moments of closeness, keeping their arrangement strictly professional turns out to be harder than they thought.
After all, there’s a thin line between pretending to love someone and falling for them entirely.

Aziraphale recalled what he’d seen out his office window. With it’s close and clear view of London, Earth.
He hadn’t meant to zoom in, where he did. The scene had appeared against his will.
A certain demon. All alone and buying several cases of the worst scotch he’d ever tasted. Oodles of it.
Something he drank when he didn’t care about quality, only getting drunk as fast as possible.
Crowley looked bad. Aziraphale didn’t think he’d ever seen him with a hair out of place, and certainly never in dirty clothes and flip flops.
But there he was. The only familiar part of his attire had been his sunglasses.

“Muriel, where is he?”, Crowley asked in a firm voice which he hoped masked the terror seizing his heart. Those words prompted fresh tears to fall from Muriel’s eyes as their face changed to an expression of guilt more than sorrow or fear. That was odd.
“I’m sorry, Mr. Crowley! I’m so sorry, they made me. I had no choice.”
“Muriel, please. What happened? Where is Aziraphale?”
Muriel composed themselves just enough to answer, “They caught him. They caught him trying to warn you. And they took him, Mr. Crowley! Heaven took Mr. Aziraphale! They- they say he's a traitor. That he must be punished.” And with that, they were sobbing again. Crowley let them fall into a chair as he tried to process what Muriel had just told him.
Aziraphale was in Heaven. Not as the Supreme Archangel. As a prisoner.Armageddon is coming. Again. Aziraphale and Crowley find their way to each other as they always do. They race to stop the Second Coming while discovering the depths of their love for each other along the way. In moments of doubt and darkness, all Aziraphale and Crowley have is each other as they're off again to save the world.

From that moment on, he decides to do something to atone for his sins, by becoming a doctor, as well as removing anyone who has been bitten to prevent the transformation while they are weak and allow them to die. Yet, his life has been turning the gears of fate since he came across a girl that he takes in as both his apprentice as well as his sister. Which in turn, causes him to meet a book shop owner who he seems to feel a strange attraction too. Now, he has to choose between allowing the man to live, or die. To allow himself to be cleansed of his sins by this man who he views as an angel, or allow himself to despair for the rest of his immortal life. But what he doesn't know, is that his fate has already been sealed when he fell in love with his patient.
