And before he could think about what he was doing, Vox reached up and pressed his hands over Alastor's. Ignoring the warmth of his calloused, bloodstained fingers, he softly tugged the blade closer to his throat, a small smirk concealing the agonizing fear churning in his stomach.

UPDATE: Ethereal Rumors has been canceled due to a near-unanimous vote to do so after two people said they were tired of their characters, our DM put us on hiatus to rewrite the world lore, and our editor consistently kept not putting out episodes either in a timely manner or on any sort of coherent schedule. I was the only person who voted to keep doing it, but I was outvoted 5-1. So, I guess this work IS Ethereal Rumors now.
The others may have given up on it, but I haven't - the story we wrote together is amazing and deserves to be told properly. "Properly" can mean a lot of things, but for me, with the world we made, I guess it means keeping my character's journal. I'll transcribe our sessions from his POV and write the story myself past our point of giving up, since nobody else is going to.

The tale of Silver is a depiction of how a young fox demon went from a quiet and peaceful life 300 years in the past, to becoming a streamer in the modern day, hidden amongst humans as a Miko (shrine maiden). Hers is a story frought with joy, sadness, and a journey towards forgiveness and finding romance in a chaotic world. I've debated for some time how I'd write character lore for my live character, Alice/Silver, and it dawned on me that I could write her lore in chapters; detailing her early life, exploring how she became a shrine maiden, and create an entire tail for her through a beautifully crafted web novel. One chapter at a time, I'd like people to learn alongside me whom Silver is, and why I love writing her character so much~!
