Summary
Link feels most like himself in the wild, with the wind in his hair, grass stains on his knees and a mysterious wolf by his side. He wakes up in the shrine of resurrection with nothing but destiny to his name, and the quest he has laid out before him will be a long and arduous one. How will he reconcile what he has to be with who he really is? With the weight of the world on his shoulders, and not nearly enough sleep in his system, that may be more difficult than he realizes.

This has to be a trap.
“Why would I help you?”
The cult is probably going to do something to horrifically embarrass her before either killing her or sending her off with a message. Hell, maybe she’ll be the message, dropped off as a mutilated corpse right outside the city gates. There’s no way she’s getting out of this unscathed.
But maybe if she plays this convincingly enough, she’ll be able to take back the Thunder Helm, right out from under the Yiga Clan’s stupid masks.

AU epic time-travel enemies-to-lovers adventure. Young Ganondorf's and Zelda's triforces are stolen from them and Link is killed. Though they've been raised as enemies, they travel back in time together to hopefully defeat the demon king Faucheur, get their triforces back, and save Link.

Summary
Link is awake with no memories and all he has is his instincts and muscle memory to rely on in the dangerous, wild world. He's given a mission by a dead king to save a girl he once knew. Link's heart agrees with all this, wanting to do everything he can to fight the Calamity Ganon. His mind quickly becomes a battlefield as he struggles with memories from 100 years ago and the emotions that come with them. Including memories of a certain blue feathered rito who he apparently used to love, and of course, all the emotions come with that too.
As of 4/7/2021 or April 7th of 2021, this is on hiatus as other works are proceeding. I currently do not have the time to update this.

I am too damn cold for this shit, Link thought. He stared down from the rock outcrop where he was perched. The sky was a pale gray, threatening rain or sleet if the temperature dropped any further. He could already feel icy flecks of spray misting down on him. He was out in the middle of nowhere in a desolate rocky barren canyon. A place so foreboding that even the birds looked miserable and they were the only animals he'd seen in days. He should have been alone out here.
He wasn't.
