"Father. We've discussed this several times, we do not feel there is reason to rush through the engagement. I appreciate the interest in us devoting more time to planning but—" When Link placed a hand over the back of his, he paused and looked to him.
Link held his free hand flat with fingers straightened and tapped his thumb to his sternum twice. 'It's fine.'
Sidon's hand rotated under Link's, his long fingers curling around and squeezing his hand endearingly. He knows they can't put it off forever.

In an age of great healing across Hyrule, they are content. King Sidon has taken quickly to his new responsibilities, and Link is balancing his regular duties as Zelda's knight and companion, aware his time in Central Hyrule is limited.
The wedding has come up before and they've tried redirecting the topic time and time again, expressing they are in no hurry. When the topic is broached once again, Link suspects an unspoken urgency — after all, a Hylian life lasts only a fraction of the average Zora.

Минимум отступлений от канона (насколько это возможно) - максимум отсылочек ко всем играм серии.
Финал "Мудрости" - 14 февраля. Это вполне законченная арка, как сезон сериала, поэтому можете спокойно читать несмотря на "в процессе". -

Once upon a time there was a Princess who found her sacred Power.
In order to seal her enemy away, she gave up her freedom and imprisoned herself with the Great Calamity within the Castle. With each passing year the Princess defense go weaker, and she was left no chose but to dance like a puppet to the tune set by the whims of her sadistic capture.
One day a Hero come to fight the Beast seeking to save the Princess. Yet, there was no way the Hero could attain the victory. For the Hero was unaware that he himself was a puppet that had been created and controlled by an invisible hand.

A story spanning the period between the events of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, it will consist of 3 volumes (like manga): Wisdom, Power, and Courage. There will be minimal deviations from the canon (as much as possible), with maximum references to all the games in the series.
I am currently in the process of writing 2d Vol. in Russian, so I will gradually share the English translation here as I progress.

Now she's running around a 5 acre farm that hadn't grown anything in over a decade. The townspeople are odd (that hadn't change), there's a cowboy down the road that doesn't know when to leave her alone, and an itch to do better and be better. The only thing that's stopping her is a shallow watering can and vengeful crows.
One of these days Zelda will figure out if she made the right choice.

Link is used to being the strong one. His job is to be there for others, and he'd do anything for his friends, especially Zelda. It's his purpose in life, and it makes him feel fulfilled. As for his own needs, he's self-sufficient and likes it that way - he can't fathom anything different. But when the Demon King's attack beneath Hyrule Castle robs him of his strength and vitality, Link finds himself in the unbearable position of not only having to grapple with sudden and profound weakness, but also having to rely on others when it comes to his own wellbeing. It might surprise him to learn that his freinds are more than willing, able, and even happy to give him the support he needs as he works to get well and regain his strength during the course of his journey to find Zelda and save Hyrule a second time.
As of Jan 2025: NOT ABANDONED! Author is dealing with some pretty significant health issues atm. I want you lovely readers to know that I’m hoping to return to this fic soon and think about it daily!

Calamity Ganon has just been sealed, and Zelda is trying to figure Link out. Just how long did it take for him to get to her? Does he really remember her? Did he help the people of Hyrule on his way?
Well, Link was in a hurry. He freed the Divine Beasts, he became as strong as he could, but he hasn't fulfilled many of the side quests. He didn't want to keep Zelda waiting.
Now that she's safe, Link and Zelda will travel the land to assistance the people of Hyrule, and recruiting the help of others to restore Hyrule to its former glory.
The inspiration is I want a simulation game where Link and Zelda fix stuff up... but Nintendo wouldn't make that. So I am :+)
