Well, I finally finished part 7 where we get to meet Wen Ning, the gentle Ghost King omega as he provides a far better shelter for Xingchen, Xue Yang and their four pups. I had planned on this part being the one where they build a home together, but it didn't work out as I wanted, so this is more of a pause for healing and a small step on the way to an actual relationship.

Xue Yang is a person and a mother in a lot of pain, physically as well as mentally. Unfortunately, being surrounded with Taoist monks, doesn't grant for much understandment of post-natal depressions, lactation problems and a womb that still bleeds from the birth. Dr. Wen Qing has a deep-seated disdain for male alphas - and this doesn't really help their reputation. This isn't a humorous part, but a painful one with lots of horrible laws that shouldn't exist.
