Summary
After a catastrophic accident that left the city shaken and Megamind forever changed, an uneasy calm has settled over Metrocity. As Roxanne moves through eerily quiet streets and hollow news reports, she follows faint traces that lead her to the edge of the abandoned industrial district. What she finds is not the exuberant genius she once knew, but the shadow of a man who has retreated into his own darkness. The failure, the tragedy, the brilliance turned inward, sharpened by discipline and tempered by self-imposed exile.
Yet Roxanne is determined not to let him remain lost. She steps into his world, seeking to reach the man beneath the shadow, to pull him back toward the light, and to help him confront and heal from the weight of his own tragedy.

Summary
Roxanne is tired of being underappreciated at work.
She is talented, hardworking, and most of all, desperate. She's tried for years to impress her boss; rehearsing her lines, improving her vocabulary, anything to further her stagnated career. Yet, it seems the only thing her boss wants her to report on are trivialities and the escapades of Metro Man and Megamind. Not that she minds reporting on those things, but something different - something bigger - to break her out of the small corner she somehow seems to have been backed into would be much appreciated.
Perhaps, what she needs is to work a little less honestly, and a bit more smarter. Instead of waiting for her boss, maybe she should just take the first step. Maybe one thing will lead to another, and she'll finally receive the recognition and literary freedom she oh so craves when her boss sees just how much potential her work truly has.
That being said, years of routine has made her rusty when it comes to doing new things well. Perhaps she needs someone a bit more knowledgeable on certain topics, a bit more creative, to help inspire and inform her work. She just needs to be careful; to play it safe. To walk the line, without crossing the line.

After reading their fic I realised that there are not enough Tighten is running amok fics. So here is another one.
In which Megamind failed to take Tighten's powers away.
Now, every superhero needs bad guys to do evil things so the hero can save the day. Thing is, Tighten is such an awesome badass (his own words) that all the villains are scared of him.
Luckily there's still Megamind, who can build super cool machines of death, so Tighten can destroy them and he can be the hero the city so clearly needs. He just needs to get Megamind to cooperate with him, is all.

Now to force Megamind into reckless action in pursuit of an even greater profit, a Villain calling herself the Scrap Specter arises to challenge him herself. I wrote this one for Darkonesroses's birthday because she is awesome.
This story takes place in the same alternate universe as "The Things We Build," and occurs before that story. Roxanne is less-than-thrilled when she's kidnapped on her birthday. Megamind's plans might just change her mind. A little bit of fluff, a little bit of pining, and a lot of humor.
Oh, and I'm no lyricist, so just, you know, pretend that bit is better than it is. Thanks! LOL!
I don't own Megamind.
