“ Back before he died, the rooftops of Gotham were the place he spent nearly as much time as he did in school. Technically it was easy to get used to seeing the same sight day after day. There was nothing shocking about a combination of buildings hidden behind layers of fog, some shimmering lights typical for any big city at night, and the sound of waves breaking on the shore. Especially if it was always there, your whole life. But to Jason there was something fascinating about it. The first time Bruce took him away from Gotham he was weirded out about the entire melody of his city that accompanied him his entire life just.. gone. Even when he trained all around the world, visiting Berlin, Shanghai, Rio De Janeiro and multiple different cities, there was nothing that could par the place he grew up in. And so, to see the familiar sight of Gotham at night, viewed from above? It awakened something in him every single fucking time. Something he wasn’t sure he could still feel right up until this moment. ”
AKA jason makes his debut as red hood expecting only to focus on setting his plan in motion, but a strange set of coincidences leads him to realize that being back in gotham, first and foremost, means being back home
