Summary
Caped crusaders are fine for fighting drug kingpins, mob bosses, and murderous metahumans. But Gotham still has plenty of regular villains - dirty cops, greedy landlords, corrupt politicians. Crooks like these require a lighter touch. A little… leverage.
~
After setting up the brewpub at the edge of Crime Alley, Eliot, Parker, and Hardison are keeping busy. A young man with unusual hair and an off-limits backstory joining their lineup of employees is nothing new. But when the Red Hood appears not long after, the team finds themselves caught in a feud between vigilantes that could be very bad for business.

Summary
They’re in the kitchen -- Hardison’s talking about the number of times they’ve had to replace the dishwasher. Billy asks, “How long have you guys lived here?”
For the first time since he started the tour, Hardison hesitates. He glances at Eliot, who says, “About ten years, on and off. We don’t stay in the same place a lot. This one’s-- special.”
“I can see that,” says Billy, putting his hand on the brick wall in a way he hopes is comforting. “It’s a really nice place.”
(or, Billy comes to visit his son in Portland, and ends up meeting someone new)

He lets out a huff. "You serious? You're not injured this time, man, I didn't get a lick of sleep."
"You slept great," Quinn says, pressing his cheek against Eliot's chest. Something in Eliot short-circuits at the contact.

Five times Quinn initiates cuddling (more or less) and one time Eliot returns the favour when Quinn got himself hurt on a job.

Summary
Quinn is the Leverage team's secondary hitter, and comfier in this job than he has been in any before. Anton is a human living as a vampire under the thumb of his 'sire' aka cult leader aka creep of a boyfriend in a different—but similar—world. The two of them look remarkably alike.
When the team goes up against a rich jackass who turns out to have magic spells up their sleeve, it's Quinn who gets on their nerves, so it's Quinn their spell targets.
The switch takes place overnight, and without fanfare. He and Anton are about to have very interesting times.

Summary
Hitters don't trust each other easily. They develop keen instincts for survival, or they don't work for long. They earn a sense of unsafety they know in their bodies and can't easily overcome—until it's inordinately difficult to sleep, injured, in someone else's safehouse, with someone that dangerous in the room.
If Quinn's being honest with himself, though, Eliot's the most trustworthy person he knows.

Eliot could see when Hardison and Parker came in, snow dusting their shoulders. Hardison was wearing a knit cap, but neither of them was wearing heavy enough coats in his opinion.
