Nosedives injuries are severe enough to require the amputation of his arm at the shoulder and the removal of his left eye. He has additional scarring on his beak and body. Now he has to watch as Canard takes his place on the ice as he heals. Nosedive feels utterly trapped in his own head and feels he can't tell anyone. Wildwing finds love in an odd place.

A young girl is dropped off on earth in a stasis pod. Along with an unknown infant. Tanya instantly takes them under her wing as they are very clearly hers, at least the older girl was. With Duke clearly being the father of the infant, they decided to marry keep the girls together.
Tanya's past slowly begins to surface. One dead husband. Suddenly nine unsolved murders begin to make sense and then three more surface. Now police files from Puckworld are making their way to Klegghorns office. All unanswered domestic violence reports and cases from one woman, death certificates, birth and death certificates for an infant and the birth certificate of a woman named Anastasia Von Mystir. Now nothing is as it seems as another set of murders has surfaced. Duke is hiding something and Tanya knows what it is. No witnesses, no evidence, twenty two dead women all found with the same contract.
And as if everything wasn't riding high,Lucretia DeCoy is found dead, scrubbed clean and perfectly preserved. Now tensions ride high as fingers are pointed and Puckworlds twisted systems of healthcare and justice. Suddenly those twenty two dead women weren't murders.
Now the question stands, who was Anastasia Von Mystir?
