Bobby looks at him like he has three heads before replying, "Because Will would be able to beat him to death."
"Well, and he'll beat me to death if I kiss his dear brother," Nigel mumbles trying to control the thousand and one thoughts that cross his mind. Never in his best dreams did he think something like this would happen. Or is it "not even in his worst nightmares"? Maybe a mixture of both, Nigel thought.
"You can take a hit, or two…or six. I've seen you fight a lot of guys, Nigel."
Nigel laughs wryly, "So that makes me a sacrifice."
"Exactly," Bobby says, taking a few steps forward, invading Nigel's personal space.Bobby is on the run from a nasty ex and asks Nigel for a small, innocent favor. The bad news is that nothing is small and innocent when it comes to Bobby.
