Another mission of well-known Chris Redfield went to shit. Shell-shocked, wounded, he seeks for a shelter from the blizzard that is about to get worse. He enters the dark maw of the cave, knife clenched in his hand, only to spot a gigantic mass hiding in the shadows. With a short, sharp breath of shock Redfield realizes: he just stumbled upon that same BOW that had chased him with flaming eyes and foaming maw before throwing him off the cliff.
What should he do now: play dead, hide, attack?RE AU, where Wesker is a gigantic werecat snow leopard that being released from the clutches of another pharmaceutical company. However, their meeting with Chris is not going smoothly. They will have to help each other through the night in one way or another.

For Chrisker Week 2024– day two's prompt 'working late'; in which Wesker is holed up in Umbrella’s lab around midnight, and he can’t stop thinking about the S.T.A.R.S. member that follows him around like a puppy. The realization hits him like a truck.
Chris, maybe, could be different. Maybe he wasn’t imagining the small glances in his direction when he told a story from his time in the Air Force, or the light brushes of the backs of their hands when they sat next to each other in the helicopter while Rebecca and Jill focused on piloting. Maybe that was real.
Heat rose in Wesker’s face as he thought harder about Chris’ calloused hands, and how gentle they could be. He imagined the soft touch of his hands through his rough gloves, and how they would snag in his meticulously styled hair because of the exposed velcro that resulted from Chris’ gloves being slightly too small for his larger wrists and barely able to close. He thought about the scratch of those gloves and how they would catch on his vest after a tight hug, how his eyes would sparkle with adoration when he looked down at his subordinate, and how he would grasp him in turn.
