In this world, full of mercs and slavers, it was dangerous to hope for better. Being free sometimes meant being unprotected. An indenture came with slightly more freedom, more autonomy, than a slave, but a fulfilled indenture meant you could be taken at any chance. And for a single female? Just existing was dangerous.
Elena is an indentured servant, paying for her contract as a cook for the rich. Her next heading is on a pleasure cruiser where the guests are not exactly what they seem. She is tasked to feed an unknown guest and comes face to face with an Alpha Furyan, an Alpha Furyan who takes one look at her and decides that she is his. -

The look in those eyes and the flush to his face called to Riddick in the most animalistic ways. Buckle up, Vaako; your world is about to change.
Vaako just wanted to do good by his Lord Marshal. Defeating enemies, following orders, and winning wars was his only priority. So why the hell was Riddick treating him differently? Just what was the Furyan up to?
