And Nico knows there’s no getting out of this one alive. Will’s casual kindness is deceiving: he’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. “Columbia.”
Will lets out a low whistle. “Ivy League, huh? What brings you here?”
Nico’s gut sours. Will maintains his chill. “Everyone says that,” Nico says, voice barely containing bitterness.
Will’s casualness cracks. “Oh, I’m sorry?” And the fact that he phrases the apology as a question stabs Nico in every part of his body, blinding him.
“I don’t want to be at Northern Pine either.” Nico stands. “Really, it’s fine.”
Nico, pre-law Columbia University drop out, transfers to Northern Pine College, his hometown’s local community college across the country, after a mental health crisis. Cue high school peers, self-enlightenment, pretentiousness, Chobani yogurts, an early twenties life crisis, a life-sized cardboard cut-out of Harry Styles, and, worst of all, improv club (though he is being very brave about it).

Chuuya felt…good. His headache was completely gone, and he felt reasonably well-rested. Certainly better than he’d been this morning. He felt like he could even tolerate Dazai for the rest of the day without losing his temper—maybe not the whole day. A couple hours, though.
He stepped out of his car, locked it, and then paused. There was…something didn’t feel right.
Why do I smell smoke?
He inhaled deeply. On the second inhale, it was a combination of smoke and paint. “Paintball,” he realized.-

“Okay,” Kei says. There’s a devious glint in his eyes that Atsumu doesn’t trust. “I have a solution.” He grabs a die and holds it up. “Counting from my left, whoever’s number comes up has to go. That’s fair.”
Kenma leans forward, staring at the die with a strange intensity. “Just so you know, Kei, you are now creating six different timelines.”
“Of course I am, Kenma,” Kei says in a patronizing tone. He throws the die, and for a moment all possibilities hang in the air; Atsumu can almost imagine them all around.
Then the die is cast, and reality splits.

There’s a package of cat treats, a wallet, several granola bars, a container of glitter, sunglasses, a water bottle, some medicine, a lighter, matches, a miniature fire extinguisher, chapstick, tissues, bandages, a flashlight, some sort of medicinal cream, a swiss army knife, a few loose balloons(?), a book, his cell phone, a switchblade, several pens (but none of them purple), and finally a whole jar of Nutella.

“I see that you’re as overdramatic as always,” Iwaizumi remarks dryly. “But I actually kind of agree with you, for once. I mean, I don’t think it’s the end of the world, but what’s wrong with the regular system of popularity? I’m cool, and I shouldn’t need a stupid app for people to know that.”
“You’re cool in that old-fashioned popular jock way,” Oikawa says. “While I’m cool in the timeless, celebrity star, idol of millions--ow, Iwa-chan!” He rubs his shoulder where Iwaizumi had hit him, mostly for dramatic effect. “The truth hurts, I know.”
