Summary
Fulvia Cardew meets Plutarch Heavensbee in college. He’s three years older than her, and he’s going to graduate right when she’s finishing up her first terrifying exam, where she’s supposed to be able to tell her professor all about supply chains and how they’re invisible and not actual chains at all, but they still kind of are actual chains.
Plutarch’s a philosophy major, and Fulvia’s studying business. Plutarch chuckles low in his throat, hidden in his hand, when she brings it up. Plutarch’s a philosophy major because he comes from money, and Fulvia’s a business major because her grandmother offered to pay, but only if Fulvia did something that’d buy her a designer handbag or a house by the water without asking a man for permission.
Fulvia and figuring out how to be a woman in a revolution built for men.

Summary
"Cross your thoughtless heart
Only liquor anoints you
She's the albatross
She is here to destroy you
Wise men once said
"One bad seed kills the garden"
"One less temptress"
"One less dagger to sharpen"
Locked me up in towers
But I'd visit in your dreams
And they tried to warn you about me
Cross your thoughtless heart
Only liquor anoints you
She's the albatross
She is here to destroy you
Devils that you know
Raise worse hell than a stranger
She's the death you chose
You're in terrible danger"

Summary
6 decades in the spotlight, 2 people with the same last name. Caesar’s presence off stage is a complex one, but there are so many people connected to him and it’s not just the people with the same last name. Hundreds of tributes who have sat across from the man from Finnick Odair to Haymitch Abernathy, all hang on to his image.
From the man who plotted the rebellion for years, a human prop, a President who hangs on to his position, they have and will forever belong in a careful balance. From the first attempts at rebellion 25 years prior to the final days of the Capitol, they stick, they fall or they get buried in the grave, some people stay static.

A story about Ampert Latier, how he experienced the 50th hungergames. This poor unfortunate 12 year old was unfairly reaped, a way to punish his rebellious father Beetee. While his mother is pregnant with a sibling, Beetee and Ampert have to survive this year's Quarter Quell..
If you have read Sunrise on the reaping, which I highly recommend, you will know how it end. But how did it all go? And what if the ending is not the ending we thought it was? -

Summary
“Finnick!” I hear Katniss’ screams intertwine with their growls. The climb up the ladder starts to feel infinite with each step, especially with the sight in mind of the bloodthirsty mutts that would benefit from only one misstep on my behalf.
I’m exhausted and bleeding from injuries that I’m not entirely aware of, but with only the image of Annie’s broken expression as I left her forming in my mind, I am gathering every ounce of strength and determination I have left in me.
or;
Finnick makes it up that ladder.

Summary
Hauntology (a portmanteau of haunting and ontology, also spectral studies, spectralities, or the spectral turn) is a range of ideas referring to the return or persistence of elements from the social or cultural past, as in the manner of a ghost.
Catalina Cain is divided on whether this is a good definition.
The past is a bodily sensation.
The past is the wound that refuses to heal, yes. But that’s an old, trite way of saying things that’s been said thousands of times—it’s faded and blown out, like a shitty old tattoo. The past is an itch you keep absentmindedly scratching and you keep wondering why the burning is getting worse.
Finnick doesn’t ask her where she’s been, or what she’s done. She eats her croissant—both of them, she eats two croissants—and as she breaks apart crumbly, golden pastry in her thin hands, she brushes the crumbs out of Finnick’s hair, and he sleeps with his head in her lap. Finnick still has large, cavernous wounds born from neglect, where reddened skin gives way to jutting, pale white bone, with yellowed patches of osteomyelitis infection.

Summary
Averard Cain has been legally dead and living under a false identity for nineteen years.
This is not his biggest problem. His biggest problem isn’t Catalina Cain, covered head-to-toe-literally-the-only-thing-not-dripping-with-blood-is-the-whites-of-her-eyes in red, because it’s not her blood and she’s just performed an impromptu amputation, cauterised with what Averard would say is arguably too much fire for a small space.
His biggest problem isn’t that Cinna is a horrible driver, or that Plutarch isn’t better and there’s an uncomfortable amount of vomit on the floor, or that Effie Trinket is uncomfortably good with a shotgun. Those aren’t really problems in the way that other things are problems, like how he forgot to charge his phone this morning, or the fact that Peeta’s really shit at keeping his balance, and Averard has to keep grabbing him by the collar so he doesn’t get personally acquainted with the vomit.
No, no.
Averard Cain’s biggest problem is that he’s still fixin’ to beat Coryo to death with a lead pipe, but everyone keeps sidelining him to emotional support.

Summary
Lawrence Starr, born to a father who ran the moment he found out she would be and a luckily very loving mother and step-father. All seems well.
Of course, there’s the Hunger Games, there’s the Capitol and the fact that her family is poor, but as long as she ignores those, she has an amazing life. Two siblings who she’d do anything for, a life next to the sea and her best-friend, Finnick Odair.
But, how amazing can life in Panem be when even a child’s protest will be punished for fourteen years after data?
