Stormpaw can feel Hawkpaw’s gaze burning holes into the side of his head. He sighs and decides that he’s ready for this night to be over, and he trudges to the apprentice den. If Hawkpaw wants to stand outside and glare at Stormpaw from all the way across the camp, let him.

The Autobot commander’s tank sank down to his pedes, and his spark spun even faster in his chassis. “Who…?” he asked, blue optics troubled as he made another attempt to stand, just to fall down once more. “Where…” he trailed off.
Disjointed, he looked down and was met with a pair of large, dark blue paws, connected to red forelimbs. Blinking, he tried to move his servos, and the paws reacted. They curled and turned over, revealing mottled black and light pink paw pads that were covered in calluses and scars. Trying to curl his digits into a fist caused long, sharp claws to unsheathe.
“Welcome to StarClan.” Cable pains presently forgotten, Optimus’s helm snapped back up to look at the speaking feline once again. The tomcat was still eyeing him, his expression guarded and his long tail lifted up toward the sky.
StarClan. It was an unusual name, but it was a name nonetheless. Was that where he was? It had to be. As strange as it sounded, the cat had said so, had welcomed him to it, even.
Optimus was at a loss for words.

Hollykit, Jaykit, and Lionkit were raised by a loving family, even if they hadn’t been born into it. Their adopted father, while distant, was never cruel or mean. However, as they grew, they each began to wonder about the family they might have had and began to go through their own struggles in a Clan they felt out of place in. While Hollybreeze wondered if she could ever satisfy her ambition in a Clan many believed she didn’t belong in, Jaylight struggled to become a warrior while being doubted for his blindness. And Lionstorm struggled with trying to be loyal to his Clan while having feelings for a cat across the border.
