Summary
After having been separated from Christa by bandits, Clementine ends up meeting someone new as she trudges through the forest in search of food and shelter. Together, they and others will have to survive everything the post-apocalyptic world can throw at them, from walkers to bandits to simple lack of resources. That is, assuming they don't end up killing each other first.
Begins near the start of season two and goes until the end of season three (was originally going to be season four, but plans have changed).
STORY IS CANCELLED. A SUMMARY WAS POSTED AS THE FINAL CHAPTER TO GIVE PEOPLE AN IDEA OF THE REMAINING PLOT POINTS AND HOW THINGS WOULD HAVE GONE.

What if Clementine didn't slip away from the New Frontier after just a couple weeks, but stayed with them for months? And what untold stories unfolded, while we weren't watching?
This is basically a re-told version of the third season of the games, but with a clear focus on Clem's journey, with a lot of original scenes and adapted versions of existing ones. It aims to cover some gaps in the storytelling and make some slight adjustments to how Clementine develops as a character.
This is the first installment of a three-part saga, where every choice Clem makes now will echo into the next chapters of her legend.

“I want to help rebuild Richmond.” Javier said, Jesus’s advice came back to him. “I don’t want Kate’s sacrifice to go to waste…for everyone we lost to make this place better to be in vain.” Javier met Luke’s eyes once again. “I want to step up. Be a leader. Be there for people.”
“I admire that.” A pale ribbon of smoke rose from the glowing end of Luke’s joint. “But it’ll take time. Your arrival started this whole mess...people will need to forgive you, then learn to trust you. You gotta earn it.”
“Then I will.” Javier resolved.
“I hope you do,” Luke extinguished his finished joint on the armrest of his wheelchair, then wiped the ash off. “I think you might be what Richmond needs, Javi. I’d like to see what you’ve got. The make of your character,” Luke looked over and gave Javier a gentle smile, friendly but inquisitive. “You won’t let me down, will you?”
( A continuation of the "Luke Lives" AU, following post S3. Luke and Javier work to rebuild Richmond and themselves, blossoming a friendship along the way. Which, over time, becomes more. Slowburn romance, there will be character analysis as well. This will also deal with the Virginia War, involving Delta and Chesapeake, stay tuned. )

Summary
Luke was having a shitty year. Between being a college student with a job, a 2-year relationship on the brink of collapse, and a general sense of self-doubt and uncertainty in himself, it was fair to say he was not doing that great. He didn’t expect to find a light in the darkness with Javi. In fact, he was surprised the other man was so adamant on being his friend. Last thing Luke wanted was to burden his new companion with his problems, but it seemed Javi didn’t mind.
TLDR; Luke didn’t believe that his happiness relied on another person, but damn it Javi was doing a good job proving him wrong.
