Summary
Leo got hit first. He remembered how unnervingly fast it took down their usually hardy leader. Of course, this caused Raph to lose his cool even more and threaten air, making himself a prime target. At least he managed to knock one away with his sai before being hit. Donnie pulled Mikey down behind an air conditioning unit. He used his staff to fake movement and watched as a dart embedded itself into the wood. He marveled at the green-tipped feathers, how no one he knew used this model of dart, and nearly missed Mikey scolding him for losing concentration. Ironic, coming from Mikey.
And that’s when he felt the sharp pain, watched his little brother’s blue eyes widen, and all the colors of the world ran together like an overworked watercolor painting. No doubt Mikey got hit soon after him.
Come to think of it, what did become of his brothers?

Summary
Mikey was far from normal. I mean anyone who has three mutated turtle brothers, a dead rat dad who taught them to be ninjas, saved the world too many times to count and lives in the sewers isn’t exactly classified as normal. But that doesn’t mean he wanted to be this mutated monster freak thing who has to hide in the shadows away from humanity’s eye.
Just because he doesn’t seem phased by his appearance doesn’t mean he isn’t, he always wanted to be able to go to school, actually go into a pizza shop and have people look at him and not scream. Mikey just wants to be a normal teenager, but he wouldn’t ever admit it. He totally doesn’t pray to the pizza lord every night dreaming, wishing for a chance to human, even if it’s just for a day. This story is about how his wish was granted, just not in the way he planned.
Or
Mikey wakes up as a human and gets sent to a place where he is constantly told his truth is wrong.

“Understood,” Donnie sighed.
It seemed like the news was spreading that Donnie was okay. People and Yokai weren't standing over dead in their tracks Metalheads with pinched expressions.
Leo hooked his finger under the mug clutched in Donnie's hand. Helping it along to his mouth. He had the common sense to wait until Donnie swallowed to add, “And I'm prescribing weekly blowjobs.”

Summary
After defeating Kavaxas and Savanti Romero (again), the turtles go home and try to go back to a form of “normalcy”. Unfortunately, a shadowy branch of the U.S. government has been investigating New York as the beacon of mutants, time masters, demodragons, and aliens. With the turtles hunted down and placed in a covert max security facility, all “normalcy” is thrown out the window. Now the goal is to escape, and the government isn’t letting them go without a fight. To make things even more complicated, one of the inmates has vengeance on the agenda and if you're not with them, you're against them.
Season 5 seemed to have more filler arcs than actual plot. Retconning the 1987 arcs, the When Worlds Collide arc, the Edo arc, and ignoring the Apocalypse arc, I am introducing a plot arc of real world consequences from the spectacular adventures of the turtles. Alternatively, the reader could see this as a setting that takes place before the aforementioned arcs but after the Demodragon arc. This also touches a bit more on death, and the effects of which on the characters.
!!! Author's Note; I'm having a serious writer's block. I know where I want to take this, but the transition to get there is what's killing me. !!!

This was what he wanted to spread. His hatred for Leo and their fucked up dynamic. Travis wasn’t mad now, he was scared. Donnie was not angry because Travis landed a hit on his drunk brother, Donnie was angry Travis got in the way of him getting off tonight. “So now that I have made it clear I am essentially the one that pursued your partner through a mindless drunk puppet for my own amusement- where do we stand?”
