Summary
Kyle had spent his whole life under the rule of the crown, being told the dragon hybrids that wandered the woods were violent creatures meant to be killed, and he believed it. Until one day, when he tried to earn his first kill and only succeeded in injuring the dragon, Roach. When their blood spilled into the waters of a mystical pond, they invoked the scorn of the Water Goddess, who used the power of the full moon to swap their souls. Now forced to live each others lives, the two must work together to hide the secret from those who wish to do harm to the dragons while confronting feelings buried long ago and breaking barriers created by those with hatred in their hearts.

Summary
Prince John “Soap” MacTavish has always been an outlier in his kingdom. Singled out and forced to stand his ground on multiple occasions, it was going to take something truly historic to put him out of the picture.
Like a prophecy.
Like a dragon waiting to determine his fate because of the said prophecy.
With just a sword in his hands and a disastrous prophecy to guide him, does Soap have what it takes to truly survive his fate? Or will he have to surrender to the beast known to have never been bested by any man?
~
A dragon shifter Ghost x prince Soap au.

Summary
John “Soap” MacTavish is frozen under the weight of a singular glowing golden eye. Its vertical pupil dilates and contracts and Soap swears he can feel the physical weight of a touch skimming over his body as it trails up and down him, assessing. The touch feels as if a singular sharp claw is being dragged over his skin, holding him in place with the silent threat of evisceration should he so much as breathe.
So he doesn’t breathe, he doesn’t move, he can’t even bring himself to look away from that eye as he’s studied; as his fate is decided by the sleek, inky black creature standing just a few feet in front of him.
Soap’s skin feels as if it’s burning under the weight of that stare, but he’s finally able to take a breath in. He lets it out through his nose slowly, quietly, and is careful not to move as he tries to convince his body he isn’t in danger.
But he isn’t convinced. . . isn’t even close, and as he’s able to finally tear his gaze away from the one eye that he can see, he becomes almost sure that he is in danger.

Summary
The scent of fire is fresh and brilliant in Ghost's nose. He breathes deep as they come upon the plateau, his eye drawn immediately to the circle of runes that look far too recent for his liking. There is still dust clustered around the corners of them, and footprints within. "What do these say?" he asks, nudging the closest rune.
Price releases Ghost's hand and peers down at it, kneeling to brush some of the loose rock away. "I believe it's a rune for sanctuary," he says, though he sounds unsure. "Protection of some kind."
Ghost frowns. He supposes it's not impossible that the blues who lived here allowed people to carve their markings on their lair, but it seems very, very unlikely. And they are so fresh.
Another light brush of wind blooms more smoke-smell in his lungs. The mouth of a cave greets them, and even from his place Ghost can see the promising glimmer of jewels inside. He finds himself drawn to them, the scent of ash and burned pitch like coming home.

Summary
For all he gives Soap shit about being eager to breed as soon as the last egg's laid, Ghost isn't much better - not that Soap would ever tell him that. Something chemical changed in him after Genny, that made him too aware of the empty space inside of him, some deep knowledge that he had more to give, more life to make. Selfishly, Soap hopes that desire never fades, that one day the stars will be invisible for all their children blacking out the sky.

Summary
“We don’t eat children,” Ghost finally mutters, because it’s annoying him, and his shoulders ache, and he can’t believe that rumor actually got any traction. Why would dragons eat children? They’re hardly more than a mouthful.
To his surprise, Soap laughs. “I ken,” he replies, grinning when Ghost turns to look at him. “And ye don’t keep virgins for a hundred years to ripen ‘em up, and ya don’t even hoard all that badly. I’m no’ daft.”
“Could’a fooled me,” Ghost mutters.
“Ye attacked me in the dead of night when I was asleep, used yer fuckin’ dark magic on me,” Soap snaps. “In a fair fight I’da won.”
Ghost snorts again, ashy and hot behind his mask. “Unlikely.”
“Take off these bonds and we’ll see then, eh?”

Summary
Family attraction — is a type of attraction based on a strong desire for a family connection with a person, or a desire for emotional closeness with others because they are the person's family. This may refer to the relationship the individual has with their actual family; or it may be a desire for emotional closeness with those who are not related to the individual by blood. This can be seen as the concept of a chosen family.
Reader has always wanted a family because she's never had one, because her relatives are only related to her by blood, but that doesn't mean they're her family, they're just strangers.
